Our family of four had a great time staying with Anna and Max. The two are wonderful, open and warm hosts, who are careful that their guests spend a relaxing time in the forest cottage and can explore the area freshly strengthened on the first morning. The house itself is very nicely decorated and super clean. The rooms offer ample space and equipped with everything you need for a few days. From the house you can immediately start a forest walk and meet deer. Needless to say, the dog also felt really comfortable. But other excursions and adventures are also close by. For example, if you want to climb Cologne Cathedral or take a look at the highest railway bridge in Germany, it is not far. Anna and Max are also willing to give helpful tips. Thank you so much for everything!

A very very kind lady. The house is very comfortable and full of useful details. My family and I have been in Dusseldorf for business as exhibitors in the Medica Messe. After a day of work it has been delightful to rest quietly in peace in a nice home. Recommended for future stays.

What a lovely place! In the morning, have a nice breakfast in the sun in front of the cottage. The cottage was large and clean. On a beautiful hiking trail and a bakery nearby. Would definitely recommend it.

We were very pleased, the place looks even better in reality than in the pictures! The contact with Tobias was great, he responds directly, is communicative and very relaxed in case of problems. Very clean room, everything was freshly prepared for us. Each of the special features ,such as hot tub and home theater , was completely functional. Unique, invites you to relax, at the same time a good area to go out in the evening. We loved it!

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 minutes. Walking distance to the nearest train station can be reached very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. The accomodation was probably the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in. There was everything anyone could ever need there. George and his wife were wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful, we cannot recommend this accomodation enough! Amazing! 5+ stars

The accommodation was very easy to reach. You get a parking spot nearby at any time. The entrance is completely separate, which we found very pleasant. There are two separate bedrooms that are absolutely sufficient for individuals. The two of us in the room get a little tight with storage space for the clothes from time to time. You already feel really comfortable when you arrive. Sophie and Simon responded to all questions immediately and were always very friendly. The S-Bahn (suburban train) station is right around the corner at the end of the road. There is a train to the Düsseldorf main train station every 20 minutes. A small cafe is just 3 houses away. Highly recommended both for a small breakfast to take away and for the small hunger on site. A Lidl is also very close to get the things of daily use. For country eggs like us, the night owls/homeless people from the train station were a bit suspicious, but I think that's part of it. We would stay there again any time.

I stayed with my wife and two kids at Lotta's home for one month. We had a fantastic time, and from day one, we felt at home. It’s a comfortable and cozy place in a nice and calm area on the outskirts of Dusseldorf and near smaller towns close to the Rhine River. We highly recommend this place and Lotta as a host. She was always easy to reach and friendly.
