Mansion vacation rentals in St. Stephen

First, thank you Robert for sharing your beautiful location with the rest of us. I am a Mainer and I can’t tell you this is one of the prettiest coastal locations you will find. It is truly at the end of the world. The house was amazing and very clean. The area is so quiet and relaxing. The deer that live in the back yard, you can almost touch, but don’t because they are wild animals. A true gem!!

Heaven on earth, Anyone? The house and property are nothing less than amazing. Dave is a terrific host who knows the area very well. He’s also got the local hookups for boats, food, etc. Get ready to sleep like you’ve never slept before… very comfortable home and those northern Maine evenings will be missed. Thank you, Dave!

Our stay was fantastic! The property offers breathtaking views, and the cabin’s quaint charm, along with the occasional critters, added to the rustic, nature-filled experience. Our dogs loved having plenty of space to explore. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch, sipping coffee while watching the sunrise—it was the perfect way to start the day. The main house had everything we needed, and the kitchen was so well-stocked we barely needed anything from our trailer. The lobster pot was a highlight! However, the only downside was the furniture. Everything from the patio to the living room and beds was uncomfortable, making it hard to relax, especially after a few days.

We come to the area every fall to ride ATVs on the sunrise Trail. we usually stay at motels but decided to do an Airbnb. John's house was perfect for us, it was a very nice space for our group, we were able to have dinner and hang out much easier together. We did over 200 miles of riding and the scenery was beautiful. I will definitely book again.

Such a great value for a unique, comfortable and HUGE space. This is our second time staying in this compound (we stayed at the Station House a few years ago) and the location & cost can’t be beat.

I had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and incredibly comfortable. Honestly, the listing doesn't do justice to how well-equipped the place is – it had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful, and Deer Island is absolutely beautiful. Tanya was a fantastic host, always responsive and very caring, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

What can we say, coming from a beautiful lake region to another this place was more than we needed. Never touched the upstairs w bedrooms. Huge kitchen to cook in, if we forgot anything a wall across the street got us stocked up. Local walking trails, the fish hatchery, boat launch, ATV/ snowmobile trails, down east land preserve. And the locals shared in our excitement in catching fish and advice on the lakes! Visited the “SYSLADOBSIS DAM” and Pocumcus Lake, Mayberry coves, caught Lake trout, bass, salmon, and our puppy swam for her first time!

great stay as always and again, sssooo much space and bedrooms for such a great price. top spot for large groups or just someone who wants a nice private space.

We were so pleased to stay in a Deer Island Family home. Joanne's home/cottage was very clean with many amenities and well located on the island. It's not hard to see how the island gets its name, there are deer every where. Five deer greeted us every morning!

Excellent location. Excellent cabin for our large party, including two small children. Bottled Water was provided so that was a nice touch. They should share photos of the little beach - it’s a wonderful surprise! Sandy and great for kids. Warm water. Great yard. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Highly recommend.

We absolutely felt at home! Susan made the whole trip easy, she provided clear instructions made herself available and left plenty of household supplies if we needed them. It was such a beautiful location we spent every day playing on the water and looking at the stars at night! We would definitely repeat this trip!

Lisa’s house was an adventure back in time! She had maps on the wall that were 300 years old! Very impressive!! The captain’s house was beach front and so peaceful! We would sit on the large deck to have our morning coffees and watch the fishing boats! A hidden treasure to all! Lisa was very helpful and quick to reply to my questions! We enjoyed our stay with Lisa on Deer Island!!

The house is wonderful and clean. The kitchen is well stocked. Huge pantry with everything needed to make meals. Trail access. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was welcome after a hot day on the trails!

We had a great stay at Meggy's place. The lake is so peacful and the house and garden super convenient with kids ! We'll definitely recommend it. Thanks again!

Allie's place was perfect for our family. The location was gorgeous! It was great to be able to be right on the shoreline, basking in the warm autumn sun, watching the tide roll in and out, and gazing at the sea birds and bald eagles. We even saw a family of sea otters! Campobello Island is one of our favorite places to relax and Allie's place made it even more special. I can honestly say this cottage is the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Allie's communication was excellent as well. You can tell that she wants her guests to feel right at home. Thank you Allie!!
