Vacation rentals with lake access in St. Joseph County

Michele’s place was great for our weekend getaway! The cottage was spotless and comfy. It had everything we needed and more. Michele even left us a little surprise for our anniversary!

Great place! Well-equipped and very comfortable for larger groups. There is room to spread out and lots of good bedrooms. Outside space is great too (see other reviews). Easy to run for supplies in Three Rivers or the M60 Marathon gas, convenience and bait store. Happy’s Landing is a good place to eat or order carryout. The house is on the very north end of the lake where it is mostly grown in with lily pads and not open water, but you can dock a boat and get to the open lake for skiing and cruising. The wildlife is great – lots of swans, turtles and fish. We had a good time fishing off the boat near the lily pads – caught lots of small fish. Fishing off the dock was a little sketchy because of the plant life at the end of the dock.

Peaceful cottage on Long Lake. Our family shared quality time on Labor Day weekend. Had a peaceful relaxing time. Had a campfire, played in the water. Loved the screened in porch and deck looking over the lake!

Lauren was a great host and immediately took care of our situation that developed. The swimming area was just spectacular for the little ones and the teens. There is everything there for the water and sand just look for it. Having the two living areas was nice as we could separate and relax. The kitchen had what you needed and there were two very close stores that you could stop at. Having a washer and dryer helped too. There is a reasonable boat rental place to have something for fishing, or it was great right off the pier. The cousins loved checking into the boathouse and having their own area. There are several single and a bunk, plus two rooms with queen beds. We will plan to return here, as the quiet and beauty was loved by all of us.

Great place to spend with the family if you want some quiet time. My kids enjoyed swimming by the dock and catching some fish. They also met quite a few turtle friends while swimming. The house is spacious and has a relaxing vibe. There was so much natural light and huge windows for fresh air. Be prepared to bring ingredients or drop by the grocer's before heading in if you're the type to cook. Mitch' wife baked some homemade muffins for the family which the kids snacked on after a morning of swimming at the lake. Thank you so much. My kids can't wait to go back. We loved the openness and comfort of the home! Everything was fresh and new! It was a convenient location near our nephew's wedding venue. The snacks and refreshments were enjoyed by our group, too! Our 95 year old mother was quite impressed with the cleanliness! She even noticed that there was no dust on the bedside lampshade! :-) My daughter and her husband slept on the loft bed. They were young enough to enjoy the climb up the ladder! We really enjoyed opening up all the curtains and looking out on the lake. If the weather had been warmer, we would have definitely kayaked! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

My partner and I stayed here a couple nights and overall very much enjoyed the space. Inside the apartment was clean and updated. We did have trouble getting in (the code didn't work) but they were there within 10 minutes to help. The heat also wasn't working (stayed about 63 degrees in there) but again they did everything they could to help and we eventually found a space heater on the last day while we were packing up. We didn't love the overhead shower but that was a personal preference. If you are like me and don't wash your hair every day, bring a shower cap. Even with these few kinks I would stay there again because it was clean and they were extremely communicative and did what they could to make us happy and feel comfortable! Also great view of the pond outside the window.

I mean, what can I say other than what a perfect place for our families. We rented all three apartments. The huge yard with swingset:slide/sandbox/ so many bikes to ride. Great pier, raft for the kids to play on. Great swimming area..sandy. Our two year old great grandson cried when it was time to leave!😥 Great firepit area. Mandy communicated very well.

Not only was the place peaceful and serene it was clean and perfect. She allows you in to her barn to visit with the horses. the little dogs were great. 1 of the young ladies gave me hay to feed 1 of the horses. the sunset last night was beautiful. A great way to celebrate 20 years of marriage.

Great place and a fantastic experience with Lauren. Very peaceful home (like in the country) yet close to everything. The home is very clean and has everything you'll need. This place is 5 Stars, and priced very reasonably, so book it now if its available. You will not regret it! Thanks again Lauren for the treats. Special surprise that made our day even better. I needed it after the Notre Dame loss and that cheered me up :)

This was my second time staying here, we had a different unit which was just as good as the first. The place is clean, has everything you need and more.

Great hosts. I had a little confusion on which place was the one I rented and I accidentally knocked on the door to their house. They were extremely friendly in showing me to the correct location. The space is a nice, quiet place on Hamilton Lake. If you are looking for an affordable place to rent for a weekend away to do lake activities, this is a great space.

The most friendly hosts! The home is so clean, which is always important to our family. We visited in the Summer and it was nice to walk into a cool air conditioned home at the end of our day. We loved having dedicated parking spaces for 2 cars. There were lots of little extras in the home in case you leave something behind...like soap! The neighborhood is perfection, like a movie. Friendly and kind neighborhood. There is a ~3 mile loop around a stunning lake. Cars drive slowly as there are so many walkers, runners, bikers. Just truly wonderful. There was a coffee pot and a tea kettle, so many teas to choose from! The host not only provided canoes, kayaks and life vests, but she carried the canoe into the water! Honestly, these hosts go way beyond just being helpful. The beds were comfy, the fridge was clean, so many fresh towels. I hate that I have a character limit because I have so much to say. The price for this stay is more than reasonable. I would give more stars if I could

Our stay was very relaxing and tranquil. The scenery of the lake and the cleanliness of the house were amazing. Definitely would go back again.

It is a great cozy little lake getaway. The host has the place stocked with anything and everything that you would need. Perfect for anyone who might forget something. it has a beautiful view of theLake. Aaron was a great host to deal with. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely clean up to date home. Well appointed. Great restaurants nearby. Our winter stay was cozy and comfortable. Great to have the gas fireplace. Cheryl was accommodating and responsive. Hope to return in the summer.

This was such a nice weekend with our family. The cottage was stocked with everything you need! The lake is super quiet and pretty private! The place was clean and remodeled in the inside. Our first time booking an AIRBNB so we were nervous but we are so glad we did!

Great place, right on a small beautiful South Central Michigan Lake. Tons of charm, very clean, and everything works perfectly. Minutes from downtown Coldwater Michigan. Highly recommended.
