“We had the best time at David’s cabin. The location couldn’t be beat- so close to the blue ridge parkway and close to so many great hikes. Sitting on the deck watching the creek is so amazing it almost doesn’t seem real. The cabin is so cute and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable! Dave was so helpful, his tips for places in the area to go made our trip so special- things we would never have known about without him. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to reconnect with nature and get away from it all! We will definitely be back in the future!”

“It’s an amazing stay at Ricky’s place. It is quiet and undisturbed, at the top of a small hill; surrounded by nature’s sounds. The environment couldn’t be better - deer, turkeys and bunnies were spotted! The inside decoration is modern, with many USB chargers, two TVs, a large work desk and a comfy bed. We couldn’t ask for more! The host is super communicative and friendly. The WiFi broke one day (carrier issue) and Ricky went to town in the morning to find a 4G hotspot solution for us! They have a very cute and smart lab Roxie! We played with her every day. She brought us much joy during our stay.”

“This was our first stay in a tiny house, and it was just what we wanted and needed. We were able to have a low-key 4th of July weekend in a great location for all the outdoor activities we love. This was a great home base for hiking and paddling. We didn't use the kayaks provided at the tiny house as we brought our paddleboards and did plenty of paddling in both directions from the tiny house. The variety of the scenery and quality of the paddling in both directions is top-notch! We only had one minor issue with one piece of the outdoor furniture and the responses and timeliness of responses after I reported this situation were well-received. We hope to be back again and would love to see the change of seasons in this area from the tiny house home base.”
