Cabin vacation rentals in Spruce Knob

We had an amazing stay! Close to Davis, Thomas, Dolly sods by any standards. Close to Seneca rocks, spruce knob and Nelson rocks by WV standards, lol. Everything was comfortable and clean, we loved the swing on the screened in porch! Make sure to call restaurants to confirm hours, Google/Apple Maps information wasn’t always accurate, but we found plenty to do and eat!

My family and I loved this air bnb! It was private, clean and had everything that we needed. Loved the fire pit and the hot tub, beds were comfy and towels were soft. Great communication with the owners. If you are looking for a nice get away with lots of privacy and to be able to relax this place is it! If we are ever in the area again would love to stay in this beautiful cabin in the woods.

Spent a long weekend here with 5 others, great place. Host is very responsive/ communicative and the property is exactly as is. We’ll be back!

Joshua and Joan were great hosts. The cabin is located in a very quiet, peaceful, subdivision with a few other cabins around. It’s a great space and made for a very relaxing getaway!

This was an amazing place to stay. The pictures don't do the house or the surrounding nature justice. The place was spotless and the guidebook had great recommendations for hiking, food, etc. A great peaceful place to get away for a weekend.

Jeremy’s cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I loved the location as well. I stayed in this community several times before so I knew what to expect and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The deck and hot tub were my favorite, especially after a day outside hiking. I traveled solo and this was the peace and quiet I needed — a great getaway from my stressful job in Baltimore.

We loved our stay. My family stays in a cabin each year and the views put this at the top of the list. We cooked for all of our meals and had no issue with all of the kitchen items available

Great stay for our family in this private cozy cabin. We enjoyed all of the outside amenities after a day of hiking around Seneca Rocks. Loved the front porch to enjoy coffee and watch the wildlife. Very friendly and responsive Hosts that answered any questions we needed.

Our second stay, this time for a minimoon after our wedding! The perfect escape for peace and quiet. The Tuckerman house feels like home and is instantly relaxing. Thanks Jarred!

We had a wonderful weekend. The cabin is really nice and comfortable, and the surroundings are beautiful! It feels like you're in the middle of the woods. Lisa's communication was great, and she gave wonderful local recommendations. There's so much to see and do in the area, as well as great wineries and breweries.

place was exactly as described. I would highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get back to the home as it is located on a narrow unpaved private road. especially if there is heavy rain in the forecast like we experienced this past weekend.

Wonderful stay! Pretty setting, park and creek .7 m away, felt like we were tucked away. We had a minor issue, not at all hosts fault, the electricity in the area went out. But Sereda was very responsive, figured out problem and when it would be solved, and let us know right away. I didn’t want to leave!

All I can say is wow! I booked Rebecca's place as a one-night stop for a group of us from the UK on a short road trip in Shenandoah. I was hopeful that it would be a good stay based on the photos and description, but I don't think any of us expected how wonderfully cosy, rustic and yet clean and comfortable it would be! There were so many small touches to help us enjoy the stay - for example the fire pit already had logs and kindling arranged and Rebecca had even left S'mores out, so we enjoyed a great night sitting around the fire toasting these and even saw a firefly! Our only regret we all agreed was that we hadn't booked to stay longer - given the location right in between Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway this is THE place to stay when visiting the area!

The cabin was just the right peaceful retreat we needed. A great stay if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Recommend bringing your own bottled water for drinking.

Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Will be on the list, if available, for our next trip to Seneca.

This place was lovely! It was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. The only hiccup was that there was zero GPS signal, or cell signal for about half an hour leading to the location arriving at night time... Fortunately, we'd downloaded offline maps and we're able to work it out. But once getting there, it was fantastic.

Amazing getaway spot for you and a couple of buddies. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Merry Jo's place was a beautiful, clean and comfortable mountain home with stunning views. It is extremely private and peaceful (I think we saw one vehicle during our stay), and a great place to relax, meditate, and refresh. True escape! We saw deer daily and enjoyed the hiking nearby. It is close to restaurants (Davis, WVa) but the kitchen was well-stocked and we did cook out a few times. Merry Jo is a wonderful host, and she is quick to answer all of our questions, etc. We highly recommend and hope to visit again in the near future.

Such a beautiful location, building and great hosts! The cabin was wonderful with great cooking utensils, pans, coffee maker and all the items needed. George and Kathy are lovely people. You won’t go wrong booking this escape! Thank you so much!

Beautiful little cabin located about a mile off the main road. Low clearance vehicles will have difficulty accessing it (I drive a Honda Civic), but Pansy shuttled me up and down the hill. It really is off grid, I didnt have cell service or wifi but that is exactly what I wanted when I booked it. Highly recommend booking this cabin if you want a nice weekend away from the world!

This is a beautiful cabin in the mountains of Highland County, Virginia that was everything we hoped for an more. Our primary goal was to get away from the noise and lights of the city and this place delivered. It was so dark we could see more starts than I have seen in a very long time. It was so, so quite as well. The hiking trail and the fire pit were an added bonus that helped us enjoy our time there even more. We can't wait to go back again in the summer or fall.

It was a great weekend in the mountains of West Virginia. The cabin is perfect, clean and cozy and the surrounding outdoors are so tranquil and relaxing. Was a great weekend out of Baltimore/D.C. we can’t wait to come back. So grateful to Max for his responsiveness for any questions or help.
