We stayed here as it was a central location to visit family from Montreal to Ottawa. Very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable as I’ve found many at air bnb’s that weren’t. Easy in and easy out. Everything works as it should and our host was very nice! We would certainly stay here again!

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

Arrived a little later than expected as we had a 6 hour ride. His wife met us at check in to hand off the keys and explain the parking. Park pass lot was right across the street and always had a spot available. The space was perfect. Super clean with a well stocked kitchen. We came to town for a youth hockey tournament so the kitchen was much appreciated after the games. Location was perfect. Walking distance to the Olympic Center and right in the middle of all the shops! Bonus that Starbucks is right across the street! We will be back!

I made a quick trip to the area to attend graduation, so I mostly unwound and slept there. I was greeted when I arrived. Everything was explained and shown, including the lovely riverside area, which sadly I could not take advantage of due to weather and time restraints. Pleasant, quiet, and friendly all around. It was an easy drive to Canton for graduation festivities.

Michele was lovely host. She was very responsive and proactive, but you didn’t have the sense that there was hovering from the owner. She even brought me a homemade gift after we made a connection. The space was beautiful and so was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Finally, the view from the porch overlooking the St. Lawrence river at sunset was magical. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful location if you need to be in the area! We stayed for Clarkson University graduation and it was very convenient and easy. Gorgeous water view.

So glad we found this amazing place! It is nestled off the road in a quiet, beautiful location. The downstairs area is spacious, with a pool table and a dart board. The electric fireplace was such a nice addition for the colder than usual evening. Penny was such a great host! Fun filled fact- the space is filled with such pretty photos. I was so interested in them that I looked up the photographer and turns out it was Penny! I ended up purchasing a few pieces and I can’t wait to add them to my space at home! What an awesome spot! Really short drive to each A Bay and Clayton and just a short hop over the bridge to Wellesley Island. The home is super comfortable and clean and privately located directly on the water. Will stay again!

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! We are very pleased with our overall experience and look forward to future bookings. The house is large and will sleep eight. We hope more of our children's families will travel with us next time. Our family near this property has a small home, so this home is large enough for us to gather inside and spend time together.

Renfu and Ying are super hosts. To any questions we had, they responded in a heartbeat. We conveniently got to access the property a bit earlier and they were even mailing us a personal item which we unfortunately left behind. We would recommend this spacious and neatly kept home to anyone - the kayaks you can take out while on vacation are a fun addition. Thank you Renfu and Ying :)

The condo was great! We stayed for a ski weekend and enjoyed the beautiful view of mirror lake, access to the indoor pool and hot tub and easy walk to shops.

It's a beautiful location with plenty of things to do in the area. You do get your money's worth. It's also close to many shopping amenities for those who prefer not to travel by car to buy groceries or medicine. Overall, a great experience!

Nicest bnb we have stayed at in placid! We had the grounds to ourselves and enjoyed sitting by the lake the first night before it rained the rest of the weekend. The place was cozy and the fireplace was nice for the rainy days. I appreciated the snacks and drinks in the room too!

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

Linda's place was perfect! It was very clean, was just like the pictures, and very well designed -- just really beautiful. It is right on the lake and we took full advantage of the outdoor space as well as the kayaks and paddle boards. Linda was an incredibly gracious and responsive host. We would highly recommend her place!

We had a great stay and the location was peaceful and quiet. Access to both lake Placid and mirror lake was easy with paddle boards. It was an easy walk to town as well. The condo was spacious with more than enough space for our group of 7. The kitchen cabinets and appliances as well as bathrooms are dated but all in perfect working order. We would definitely book with Diane in the future.

Shaun's place was more than we could have asked for! Very roomy and clean. Easy walk right to the heart of Lake Placid. Finding and parking at the condo was super straightforward and simple to find. We forgot coffee filters, (of course we realized this on a morning we woke up at 4am for a big hike) but thankfully Shaun's place comes with some odds and ends like coffee filters, salt/pepper, etc - so thanks for that! Next time I'm back in the Adirondacks I'm staying here.
