Waterfront vacation rentals in South Stormont

We stayed here as it was a central location to visit family from Montreal to Ottawa. Very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable as I’ve found many at air bnb’s that weren’t. Easy in and easy out. Everything works as it should and our host was very nice! We would certainly stay here again!

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

I made a quick trip to the area to attend graduation, so I mostly unwound and slept there. I was greeted when I arrived. Everything was explained and shown, including the lovely riverside area, which sadly I could not take advantage of due to weather and time restraints. Pleasant, quiet, and friendly all around. It was an easy drive to Canton for graduation festivities.

Michele was lovely host. She was very responsive and proactive, but you didn’t have the sense that there was hovering from the owner. She even brought me a homemade gift after we made a connection. The space was beautiful and so was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Finally, the view from the porch overlooking the St. Lawrence river at sunset was magical. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful location if you need to be in the area! We stayed for Clarkson University graduation and it was very convenient and easy. Gorgeous water view.

So glad we found this amazing place! It is nestled off the road in a quiet, beautiful location. The downstairs area is spacious, with a pool table and a dart board. The electric fireplace was such a nice addition for the colder than usual evening. Penny was such a great host! Fun filled fact- the space is filled with such pretty photos. I was so interested in them that I looked up the photographer and turns out it was Penny! I ended up purchasing a few pieces and I can’t wait to add them to my space at home! Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

Second time my family has stayed at Stacey's and again everything was perfect! Lots to do and perfectly appointed! Family couldn't say enough about the comfort of the beds, pillows, sheets etc! Loved the kayaks, even though in my opinion it was a bit chilly, but they enjoyed just the same!! Will take advantage of this property every chance we can!

We are very pleased with our overall experience and look forward to future bookings. The house is large and will sleep eight. We hope more of our children's families will travel with us next time. Our family near this property has a small home, so this home is large enough for us to gather inside and spend time together.

This cabin was an absolute dream for our mothers' first visit to Canada! We were looking for something special, and this place exceeded all expectations. The location was ideal – a perfect blend of natural beauty and proximity to the city. What truly amazed us was how much more beautiful it was in person compared to the already great photos. The serene lake view, the perfectly stocked kitchen, and the immaculate cleanliness all contributed to an unforgettable stay. You can feel the warmth and care in every detail. The hosts were also fantastic, with quick and kind communication. They even helped us retrieve keys we'd accidentally left behind! We can't wait to return and highly recommend this incredible retreat.

Beathtaking locale with a beautiful view of the St Lawrence River, which we kept referring to a "Lake" due to the beautiful Lake-themed decor. Plenty of room for 10 people, plenty of kitchen towels and utensils, plenty of spots to relax and enjoy the scenery. During the non-rainy sunshine times, we enjoyed the kayak and provide yard games. Easy access the highway makes it simple to visit the surrounding cities and then come back to some peace and quiet. Would definitely come back.
