Wonderful place, have booked more than once!

Mercy’s place has a very cozy feel. The house feels worn in, in a nice way. You can tell people have lived in it for probably decades. Lots of privacy and beautiful nature engulfing the house. 5min drive to all amenities you could think of. For any music creatives out there, the basement is literally perfect for recording music. If you’re a light sleeper, one thing to note is the house is located next to a more Main Street with frequent cars and buses. The house also had no air conditioning that we were aware of, so for anyone that struggles with heat, it will feel quite warm during hot weather. For us these were merely trivialities; we loved our stay :)

Gorgeous old home on a beautiful property, was the perfect place and location to host our large family Thanksgiving. The house was well stocked with charming dishes and serving pieces. They left plenty of wood for the wood-stove which made the large space feel so cozy, and plenty of wood and chairs surrounding the fire pit outside. They also provided plenty of drinking water and decorated with pumpkins and mums. Bed linens and towels a fresh crisp white felt nice to curl into. If I had a choice I’d opt for some queen size beds and use of the extra bedrooms! Though realize it’s not set up for multiple families but for individuals on a retreat. It still suited us just fine and the kids loved the giant room with the bunk beds. Thank you Carolyn for another perfect weekend!

Our family loved the stay . It is such a hidden gem .This place had everything we needed for relaxing stay . Host was responsive too . Definitely coming back in future.

Our family complely enjoyed Erin's generously sized house. The indoor pool was one of the amenities that really drew us, and it didnt disappoint! Beautiful, warm, clean and the entire pool area was welcoming and comfortable. Besides that there are so many other activites; these are shown accurately in the photos. The adults enjoyed the pool table area very much in the evenings. Though we never got to using the home theatre, it was a very unique and appealing space. In general all was in good repair in this home. We loved the comfy beds and pristine linen. The kitchen was well thought out and very organized, with plenty of pots, dishes, glasses soap etc. This was a great locating to bring the family together. We would love to return again!

Although we were unable to use the pool due to the weather, we were able to put the pavilion in the backyard to use. Was an amazing feature to the property we where able to still enjoy the out doors in not so nice weather.

Koroush was an excellent host. He accommodated an early check-in and late check-out for our family with young kids. He was extremely responsive, and the description matched our experience at his home. The home was very clean, had all the basic things you need (coffee maker, cutlery, dishes, pots/pans, toaster, etc). Everything was easy to find! Would stay here again! :)

Amazing home in a very convenient location. Close to everything, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to come back and stay again!

An amazing price for such a beautiful gem in the heart of Embrun. Right next to a gorgeous walking trail, lots of space, and cozy. Super friendly host. Definitely coming back!

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay - far exceeded our expectations! Felt right at home, everything we needed to prep food was there. Beautiful house & lakefront that the dogs loved swimming in. Would recommend. We have family near the area so we will definitely be back.

This was a great stay for 5 adults and a toddler. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of driveway space for 4 cars. Wish the weather was a bit nicer during our stay so we could have enjoyed the front porch! We plan to return and like that there is an option to rent the 3rd floor with more bedrooms/another bathroom.

This cabin was an absolute dream for our mothers' first visit to Canada! We were looking for something special, and this place exceeded all expectations. The location was ideal – a perfect blend of natural beauty and proximity to the city. What truly amazed us was how much more beautiful it was in person compared to the already great photos. The serene lake view, the perfectly stocked kitchen, and the immaculate cleanliness all contributed to an unforgettable stay. You can feel the warmth and care in every detail. The hosts were also fantastic, with quick and kind communication. They even helped us retrieve keys we'd accidentally left behind! We can't wait to return and highly recommend this incredible retreat.

The place was super nice, and definitely worth the amount. We stayed for over a month, and any time anything came up or we had a question, Patricia responded quickly and efficiently! Overall, the stay here was great.

Book this place for out of town guests abd they loved it to the point that they started looking for house to buy in the area.

Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

Second time my family has stayed at Stacey's and again everything was perfect! Lots to do and perfectly appointed! Family couldn't say enough about the comfort of the beds, pillows, sheets etc! Loved the kayaks, even though in my opinion it was a bit chilly, but they enjoyed just the same!! Will take advantage of this property every chance we can!

Jacques' apartment was comfortably furnished. Beds were prepared and towels were ready for us. There was also a little surprise for us. Before we left, Jacque showed us the horses. That was a really great ending!

Our family absolutely loved this house and property. It was perfectly serene and beautiful, which was exactly what we were looking for. Amy was very helpful and responded right away. She even suggested a pizza place that we tried and loved! Her house felt like home! We can’t wait to go back :)
