Mona's place is charming, cosy, bright, and welcoming, (there are three rocking chairs)! It's just like the photos lots of and with a view right out to the water! Mona met us at the door which was unusual in my experience but made perfect sense as she lives right next door. She was friendly, and efficient, making us feel right at home immediately. All three beds (all upstairs with the half bath) were super comfy and given Joe Batt's Arm is so peaceful, we had excellent sleeps! ~~ Mona has an artisan shop on the other neighbouring side of the house. Make sure you drop in there to browse the many, many locally handmade works of art and to have a chat with Mona too; I learned a lot about the culture of the area! ~~ Lots to see and do, absolutely beautiful scenery, worth hiking around, yet everything is a 5 to 10 minute drive away! ~ Looking forward to a return and highly recommend a stay!

Great little place for our week in Fernie! The space had all we needed & the bathroom is truly wonderful! Loved that we were so close to the river trail & downtown!!

We loved our stay. There were five of us (adults) and it served us so well. It was a sweet place to come back to after a day of hiking and exploring. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen very functional, the BBQ got some great use. And we felt supported by the hosts, they were very responsive to any questions or needs.

Was a great spot for a stay in Sooke!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The house was just as described and expected. It was well equipped and the host was very responsive to questions. The neighbours are very friendly and street parking in front of the house was always available. The house is surprisingly quiet given the location. Will absolutely stay here again!

large home on a private setting, on the shore (a cross the road) 3 large bedrooms each with their own TV, and a large LR and kitchen very quiet and peaceful. a bit of a drive to trinity city and bonavista, but very scenic drives

We had the best time in Penticton and could not have asked for a better place to stay! It was such a treat being able to bring our dogs with us, and the location was absolutely perfect; close to the water, hiking trails, delicious local restaurants. Karolina was a lovely host and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for having us!

We stayed with Ed & Lisa for our friends wedding for 3 nights and Ed met us upon arrival and walked us through their spectacular home and familiarized us with their pool, hot tub, fire table etc. We were greeted with a very thoughtful welcome basket with homemade goodies from Lisa 🥹 (the jam was so good!!!)! Our stay was nothing but enjoyable & relaxing; we felt right at home. The house was beautiful, clean, organized, and labelled. Our favourite part was the pool as it had funky color changing lights! The home is in a cute quiet neighborhood close to downtown perfect for getting places quickly! We throughly enjoyed our stay with Ed & Lisa and can’t wait to stay again.

My family came for an impulsive trip to Canada and ended up booking Brianna’s listing last minute. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. There were so many amenities we enjoyed; walking her property by the creek, enjoying the hot tub, playing the Wii as a family, enjoying the fire pit, and watching some shows on Netflix. The space has ample space for everyone to sleep. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, and washer and dryer in unit. The property is close to the store which was nice but secluded enough when you open any door you hear the birds singing. It was just what our family needed to unwind all in one place!

We had a wonderful 11 day stay at Caitlin’s. Extremely well appointed in terms of comfort and amenities (you could quite easily just enjoy the beautiful backyard and stay home). House was very spacious and, if you are travelling with children, Caitlin had lots of games, books and toys for their entertainment. As a multigenerational group we all enjoyed our stay and very much hope we can return very soon. Caitlin is an excellent host who takes her guests’ needs and comfort very seriously.

Great place for our family of 7. Loved the place and will stay again if we are in the area. Very close to everything we walked to everything the 5 days we were there. Kids loved the pool and hot tub! He always answered right away when we had questions. Overall Very nice house and guy.

From the moment I inquired about their house, they were very responsive and accommodating to our needs. We had a prolonged stay to watch World Juniors hockey and had two families staying at the house. It was great that the basement had two bedrooms and a full bath with their own living room. It helps to have your own space sometimes! Every amenity and kitchen tool you can think of was available. The hot tub was a great addition after we booked! Everything was clean when we got there and very easy to checkin. The craft room was a great feature! There was a great selection of games to choose from as well! Would highly recommend staying here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We had a great time in Ryan's house. The house is beautiful and has more space than it apperas from the outside. We can highly reccommend this place to everyone.

We were impressed by your honour system for the pantry items and it really made us feel welcome and at home. We would definitely love to stay here again as the Kootenays are one of our favourite places to visit and explore, and your home was relaxing, bright, and spacious. Coffee in the morning and dinners in the evening on the deck overlooking the valley was a highlight!

Beautiful home with all necessary amenities. Very homey feel, we were all comfortable. Spacious living around. Full of natural light. A great find on Air Bnb. Would definitely stay here again. The perfect homestead for a weekend away in PEC!

Lovely place, friendly but unobtrusive host! Great for family!

I highly recommend the place - interiors excellent, host very friendly and to the point, surroundings are serene and tranquil. Space wise, it’s not for more than 11 people in my opinion. 5 dedicated bedrooms for 2 persons each and then 1 more bedroom in the basement but the bed is wall to wall, so good enough for 1 bachelor. Really good couches but wouldn’t recommend them to sleep overnight unless you’re trying to cut on budget. Definitely didn’t feel like it’s good enough for 19 people as advertised, good that we were just 12 with a kid. In a nutshell, bet your money on it if you’re planning a peaceful vacation for 11 people. Thanks Renato!

AJ’s lake house was the perfect weekend escape for our group. The property had everything we needed and more — from well-thought-out amenities to plenty of options for relaxation and fun. Fantastic spot to stay in Fernie! The house was clean, comfortable & had everything you could possibly need. The rooftop patio made for a great location to chat with other friends who were in town & David was an exceptionally thoughtful, courteous host. Highly recommend!
