Great place to stay! Has everything needed for a great vacation and the location is superb. Bikes and boats are provided for free. We really enjoyed exploring the lake by boat. We are looking forward to coming back one day :)

A little slice of heaven this one! Just THE perfect place to relax. The cabin has everything you need (and more!) and is presented beautifully. Sadly, we were only staying for one night but managed to pack in rowing the boat, a sauna & a sunset swim in the beautiful lake. Veera was a great host, responsive and friendly. Would recommend very highly!

Very nice lakeside and forest location. The kids loved the swing, especially for adults.

The place is even better than the pictures. Beautiful nature and peace of mind make you relax. The kids found frogs and lizards in the yard and were excited. The water is warm and from the end of the dock is a good jumping. Be sure to bring small floats as the beach is deep. There are plenty of outdoor games and things to do in the yard. Inside is a fierce collection of movies to watch. The kids and adults were very comfortable. We already miss back!

Elsi is very nice and helpfull host.The Pikku Mökki is lovely right on the waters edge,can watch the lake also from the window.Sauna has gentle heat,best sauna I have been to.

Everything was great, not a single complaint from me. The views of Saimaa lake behind the apartment were especially beautiful.

Beautiful quiet retreat on a lush island. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time is provided. There was even a midsummer traditional treat waiting for us. Satu is kind and responsive. She makes sure her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommend.

The cottage is in a very part of the Saimaa region and has it's own beach. Everything in cottage itself was as in description, clean and well-maintained. This is a perfect place if you enjoy biking on gravel/asphalt or kayaking - or to enjoy the almost complete absence of any civilisation noise (no cars, planes, motor boats, people etc). Kaisa was very friendly and responded to all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Decent apartment! Good sauna and spacious balcony. Check-in is easy. We will continue to come!

Nice and convenient small houses on a camping ground directly at the lake. Houses are quite close to each other so you could hear your neighboors.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

Cute cottage in an ideal setting. I was afraid of the cold at the end of October but the electric heaters worked very well! Comfortable sofa bed, just the toilet outside at this time of year is not necessarily convenient, but the view of the lake clears everything else!

Great stay for the second time at this lovely summer house!

We had a great time in a beautiful place. Everything was as expected and the cottage had plenty of space. The host was very friendly and helpful when he showed us around. We loved the sauna and then dip in the lake afterwards. The view was one of the best I've had at a vacation rental. We would definitely stay here again!

quiet place are 3 cottages a few tens of meters from each other in a secluded area with access to the small but fishy lake surrounded by woods. near the magnificent punkaharju esker and comfortable (about 1h by car) from parks such as kolovesi and linnansaari. about 1 hour from laappenranta airport. Valentin, the manager is very kind and helpful. Recommended.

The photos don't do the place justice, is nicer in nature. There was plenty of space, no flaws in the equipment. The beach sauna is lovely and its own beach added to the reach of lounging, and the possibility of swimming in the summer heat was welcome. It was nice and cool to sleep in the heat, too.

We had great weather and even when it stormed the location is so peaceful and beautiful we enjoyed that too. The place is not updated or designer trendy but we liked the laid back feel of everything. It was July but everywhere was remarkably empty. We only saw a few other people and a couple of boats on the lake through the whole week. Puumala has everything you need. Also, check out the rock paintings nearby - they are fascinating and in wonderful locations.

Very nice place in a fantastic location, absolutely quiet right on the lake! Easy and very friendly check-in (despite late arrival at 9 PM) with personal reception by the host's father. There was everything necessary for a cozy and relaxing vacation by the lake (rowboat and SUP, outdoor kitchen, terrace, sauna, hot pot, etc.). The Wi-Fi also works perfectly. We spent 12 wonderful vacation days and can fully recommend the accommodation and the host.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a lovely Finnish experience and we would definitely look to come back again. The facilities are great. Everything for a tranquil few days was there. We were sad to leave. Thank you .

We had a holiday like in a fairy tale, with lots of snow, in a super cosy, clean and warm mökki, skiing over the frozen lake, and dipping into an ice hole after Heikkis legendary savu sauna. We also tried his delicious potato bread and spent altogether 14 sunny and peacefull days in Hugos huvila. At a certain moment I had a health issue and Heikki was kind and helpful, so it did not spoil the beauty of everything.
