Vacation rentals with lake access in South Australia

Fabulous stay. Extremely pleased with our host and accommodation. Location is a Close walk to the river and other places to eat. Definitely recommended to stay.

Highly recommend this place! We stayed 3 nights with our dog and we all loved it. Sean and David were both great to deal with and Sean was very forgiving of an accidentally broken glass on our last morning. The space is well equipped and the downstairs area was a huge bonus with the additional full bathroom and mini kitchen. Didn't use the washer and dryer but had we stayed longer, it would have been great to have access to. Thanks for having us 🙏

We had a great weekend stay at John and Tracy’s place, John was extremely kind and showed us the house upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful

A great choice to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets, fishing or Kayaking. Kids had such a good time, also played lots of tabletennis. Gina and Patrick wre very helpful and great hosts. Cheers Damian

It's a wonderful, clean, two story house, very comfortable, bright, lovely décor, very well equipped kitchen, spacious 4 bedrooms with a nice linen; great location- walking distances to the beach, Bluff and playgrounds. Very peaceful to sit on the balcony and watch the lake or relax on comfortable outdoor beds on the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed 2 nights with our friends in this house and recommend to anyone who would like to stay in Encouter Bay.

Overall great experience and very beautiful home and location

Yvette was so easy to communicate with- always responsive. The house is in such a beautiful location- easy walk into town. Lots of space for all the kids to run wild and play. We had a really lovely stay here and would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit. The location is perfect — convenient and close to everything we needed. Unfortunately, we made a few mistakes during our stay, including entering the check-in information incorrectly and not sorting the rubbish properly. We also accidentally left behind some clothing, which caused a bit of inconvenience. Despite this, the host was very understanding and even offered to help us resolve the issues. We truly appreciate his patience and support. We strongly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area — you’ll be in great hands with such a thoughtful and responsible host. Thank you again for everything!

Lovely Apartment. Great space for our family. Quiet but very close to the town & very picturesque view over the harbour. Andy was a great host with clear instructions & we will definitely recommend it to friends/family to stay at if they are travelling to Robe.

It’s our go place when in Adelaide, great location, spotless amenities, very helpful hosts, it’s always very clean and comfortable, Donna was very responsive promptly with some queries, will always make this our place in Adelaide, they should be very proud of what they offer.

We had a quiet and comfortable night. The host was very warm and polite! The room was beautifully designed and very cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We’d love to come back if we have the chance.

Had the most amazing stay here, I have stayed with Sofie before and I can’t wait to come back.sofie is an amazing Host and is only ever a message away. So many welcoming items, makes you feel right at home instantly. Convenient location. I really enjoyed my time here.

Great location with little park and grassed area out front. Easy walk into Glenelg for beach, shops, restaurants and cafes or tram into the city. Lynette was a great host: replied quickly to any messages and was flexible with check in to accommodate our flights. The apartment was clean and tidy with well equipped kitchen, comfortable living space. Nothing to fault. Really enjoyed our time here.

It was a lovely little place to stay, close to everything we needed, and an easily accessible and private driveway, which was great. had everything we needed would definitely recommend

We loved our break. Narelle's place was homely & welcoming. The perfect spot to unwind!

Place was great except the lounge was very low and hard for us old fellows to get up out of. Also we tried using the barbecue but it ran out of gas after I cleaned the barbecue plate. Other than those couple of things it was great.

Had a great stay here. Very clean and thoughtfully set up air bnb. Host is kind and responsive. A little far from CBD but a great location if you are staying a few days and visiting wineries in McLaren Vale

Our stay at Paul and Leanne's little brick cottage was perfect. The cottage is situated on the peaceful eastern side of the lake, offering a relaxing getaway. We were incredibly impressed by how clean and well-maintained the property was. The interior renovations are stunning, giving it a modern and comfortable feel. We loved having access to board games and Netflix for our evenings. While we didn't bring our dogs due to the forecasted heat, the cottage is dog-friendly, with thoughtful amenities for furry guests. Paul and Leanne have clearly put a lot of care into this property, and we highly recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This is a perfect little beach shack, a stone's throw from the water. it has all the comforts you need. In particular, we found the beds really comfortable. We had an issue with hot water which Amanda addressed promptly and even compensated us more than she needed to. American river is a gorgeous sleepy town and a great place to explore the rest of the island from. Would definitely stay here again!

The Jetty Hut is a great stay for a two person getaway. It is very well equipped and comfortable. The surroundings are extremely calm and relaxing, with the extra bonus of the beautiful lake and supplied kayaks.

Sonya’s place was excellent, it had everything you need and more. The space is clean and well furnished and the surrounding area is peaceful and so close to the beach. 5 star!
