Monthly Rentals in Sørvágsvatn

Really great place and very friendly host. This place is great value. I stayed there alone but it has space for multiple people. The view out the main large ‘conservatory’ area attached to the living room is very atmospheric. The 70inch Tv is also very nice if you like to watch YouTube and films. There are many great walks from the doorstep. I did the short hike to Trælanípa which is an incredible place. I highly recommend Gunnars place if you are staying in Miðvágur.

Vert was always easy to reach, via AirBnB chat, Watsapp AND your own Vert chat. Vert is not the name of the host, but a portal with many contacts. The apartment was clean and well appointed. For 3 weeks stay we had a little bit of toilet paper, but was refilled immediately by Vert. Let me know in the morning, in the evening, the toilet paper was in front of the door. A good supermarket is right next door, as is a bus stop. About 15 minutes by car is the airport, which also offers domestic helicopter flights. The entire archipelago can be reached in about 1.5 hours by car. Check-in was easily possible via a key box from 15:00. A late check-out option was also offered (extra charge). We would book again any time and clearly recommend the apartment.

Communication with the host was super efficient from before booking. Sonfinnur was a great landlord, he gave us very useful tips and was available for the entire stay. The car rental service offered by the guesthouse is also excellent. The room is very welcoming and clean and has all the necessary comforts. Highly recommended

Highly recommend this place!! Jon is a great host. He is very welcoming, responsive and helpful. He answered our questions about the house and the local trails very patiently. The check-in and checkout process was seamless. The house is cozy, clean and lovely. We are a group of 4 and it fit us right in. The sofa bed is about the size of a queen bed so enough for two. The kitchen has all the utensils needed. The washroom is big and clean with good ventilation system. We really enjoyed our two nights here. The location of the house is perfect. It’s 7 mins to the airport and 5 mins to Bónus/FK supermarket. There’s also a restaurant few minutes away as well as the trail to Trælanípa. Thank you Jon again for the great stay! And thank you and your daughter so much again for kindly bringing our earphone to us near the airport. Saved our day :D
