Villa vacation rentals in Sognefjord

This place is in a beautiful location with wonderful, helpful hosts. Accommodation was even better than the photos and description. Views are stunning from every angle on the property! It's a mixture of breathtaking nature and simple activities. During our stay we rented one of the boats on the property to go fishing and even took an icy cold dip in the fjord from the beach! The water at the beach was a clear turquoise (you see little fish swimming from the dock) with fine white sand. My son loved exploring the nature and animals all around. There are countless types of birds including sea eagles, the bay had two otters that can be seen bobbing about from the shoreline and the neighbour even has donkeys. Definitely need a car to travel around (Local food shop 8mins, big shopping center 20mins and Bergen 45mins) In trade off for the driving, minimal noise and light pollution and stunning views. Lots of walking opportunities straight from the property. Can't recommend enough.

Very nice view, very good location, quiet area, the host was very friendly and responsive I like the place we enjoyed the stay.

We had a great time at Line Mari and Alexander’s place this summer. Breathtaking scenery, super comfy house, lovely hikes.. and, apart from a few boats floating by now and then, nobody around! Just the experience, quietness and relaxation we were looking for! Since there are no roads, phone and internet service it takes a little bit more planning both before and during the stay, but Line Mari and Alexander helped us in any way they could. Great hosts and super lovely people! Hope to be visiting them ánd their ‘gem-in-a-fjord’ again soon..!! 🏔️

Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt, der Kontakt war immer sehr freundlich. Alles war wie beschrieben und der Standort ist super, alles kann zu Fuß erreicht werden. Auch Wanderungen kann man von der Haustür starten. Die Nachbarschaft ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Vi er lige kommet hjem fra 1 uges ferie i Elise & Even’s flotte og hyggelige hjem, vi var 3 par med børn, her var masser af plads til os alle, og masser af legetøj børnene kunne benytte sig af. Huset var lækkert og rent, og man følte sig straks hjemme! Over alt forventning 🤩 Beliggenheden var god både til handle mulighed og offentlig transport. Hvis vi havde brug for hjælp eller havde spørgsmål, svarede Even meget hurtigt tilbage! Vi kommer gerne tilbage en anden gang! 🙌🏻☀️

Vi må rette en stor takk til Mona og Svein Olav for et fantastisk opphold i hytten deres. Her ble vi tatt i mot med åpne armer og meget god service! Svarer rakst på melding, ga gode instrukser og hjalp oss under oppholdet om det var noe. Vi bodde her i over 1 mnd mens vi ryddet kysten for plast og har sjeldent vært så fornøyd med et opphold som dette! Tusen tusen takk for gjestfriheten! Vi kommer definitivt igjen!❤️ En perle av et sted som må besøkes om du er i området 🤩

We had 5 adults staying at Petter's wonderful home in Fyllingsdalen. The views alone is worth the stay. The location worked will for our group when we had some needing to be at the sailing center, wanting to go into Bergen center or needing to pick up and drop off at the airport. Two grocery stores within walking distance and as well as a large shopping center and restaurants. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the drive way (2 min) walk, that can take you to the shopping center if you don't want to walk and to the public tram system. The home had everything we needed for our stay. Easy coffee drip system as well as an electric foamer and Nespresso. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and bbq. We enjoyed the 2 large terraces and had great fun with the dinghy boat. the home had comfortable chairs for reading and L shape sofa for TV view or conversations. Petter did a marvelous job with keeping up with our communicates when we had to make changes to our stay.

WOW! This is a special home and Anders and Karina were wonderful hosts. Our family of 5 loved the backyard with room for playing ball and a trampoline, the comfortable beds, the beautiful and modern feel of the home, the fact that the walk to public transportation was less than 10 minutes (bus & train), the closeness of the grocery store, the beautiful neighborhood, the big dining table that easily hosted our extended family visiting for dinner, the play ground and soccer/football field down the street, and so much more. Thank you Anders and Karina for hosting us, for the guide to local attractions, the clear instructions, the check in gift :), and for always being so communicative. We really hope to be back in Bergen one day and your home would be our first pick for a place to stay. Bergen and this home will remain in our hearts forever.

This is one of the best places I have seen in my life. It’s even better than the pictures, the view… the coziness of the place and the area.. the house is 20 mins away from the centre by car, so not far but far enough to feel the tranquility of the area. Janne is super responsive and sweet, we loved every minute there. It’s perfect for either a family with kids or a group of friends with kids or even a couple that wants to reconnect, I can’t recommend it enough. Janne was so sweet and left us evth we could need, dishwasher tablets, coffee capsules, she even offered us a welcome gift (Norwegian salmon and an amazing juice that we got literally addicted to). I can’t thank Janne enough for having us over, definitely recommend

Beautiful house with wonderful view, nearby the city of Stryn.

We had a fantastic stay in Ivar’s home! A lovely home with spectacular views across the lake. There is a regular bus into Bergen and lots to do in this beautiful city.

Our family had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The property and surroundings offered amazing views and was extremely quiet and peaceful. The property was perfectly located for our family to enjoy the tranquility of the location as well as close enough to the city for activities. Ole Petter was a wonderful host, always responsive to any questions we had and more than happy to provide recommendations to help us enjoy our stay.

The stay at May‘s place was fantastic. Stunning views, awesome house, great communication with the host. One of the best equipped accommodations I have ever stayed at. Lovely interior, spectacular outside and the bot house is a true gem. We had a great time and can highly recommend.

The house is impressive from the doorstep: walked in the door - saw the view from the panoramic windows - fell in love. So you can spend the whole vacation in the living room by the window/fireplace or on the terrace with a grill, and there are toys, books, and a trampoline for children. There are three kitchens in the house: a toy one (thanks for it!), small and basic ones, very convenient! The sleeping floors with bathrooms are separated by a common area, ideal for traveling with children. The house is perfectly zoned, cozy, and functional, in a quiet area, although the highway is nearby - very close to the city with a supermarket. There are many trails available nearby. We enjoyed our start there!
