Corine was kind enough to meet us across the road when the bus brought us and she got us settled. super friendly host who loves her home and garden and it shows. a spectacular Wildflower garden literally next door to a working windmill from 1740! we still can't believe it! And it was fun to sleep in the traditional Dutch cupboard bed! thank you so very much corine.

We had very nice days at Jeltje and Gerke's place. The welcome was warm by the daughter of the two. Everything went perfectly and you feel right at home in the apartment. Everything very clean and furnished with love. The communication was very nice and there was always a direct response to all questions. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed staying there very much and we will certainly book with Johan again. Check-in and check-out was uncomplicated and flexible in time. The cottage is well equipped and the location is very nice. You can also explore the area directly from the house by boat.

We stayed in the studio for 1 week and enjoyed the time very much. The photos match the great decor and we felt very comfortable right away. Great was that the backyard/terrace was tight so we could always let our dog out. Having the shopping street and nice restaurants right outside the door is another plus for the apartment. And the area is just wonderful for cycling. Thanks to Nynke for this great studio. We can absolutely recommend it. Christa and Andy

We (5 girls from Germany) had a lovely weekend in the great cottage of Marten & Brigitte. The cottage was super suitable for us as we wanted to have a relaxing getaway and didn't stay long. We really liked the amenities and also the furnishings. The cottage is located in a quiet camping park. To do something you need a car or a bike.

We stayed for an extended weekend in Lemmer and Gerda's apartment helped us to come back again. Newly renovated, bright, very lovingly decorated and equipped with really everything needed. The location couldn't be better! The large terrace overlooking the roofs and view of the church tower is magnificent. Gerda is also a warm and helpful host. Absolutely super! Thank you.

We had spent three wonderful days in Hindeloopen. This quiet location is just perfect for getting away from the stressful everyday life. The apartment is small but nice. We didn't miss anything. Modern furnished and really clean. The bed was big and very cozy,the bedding smelled very very comfortable. We recommend this accommodation to 100%.

Had a wonderful time in the Funnel in Harlingen. Nice welcome with champagne and tour of the house. The place is wonderfully private with no neighbors and in a fantastic location. We were able to enjoy fantastic sunsets from the house. Good to know that the house moves with it in strong winds. Also good to know is that the toilet is not completely closed off from the rest of the space. Breakfast is really great. Really delicious and different every day. Great!!

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage of Bauke and Nadja and were very friendly. The house is in a quiet location in an alley and is fully equipped with a beautiful modern bathroom and cozy living room. There are good restaurants within walking distance such as Vis and Meer and Omke Jan.

I highly recommend it for those who want to spend a few days totally relaxing. My boyfriend and I spent 3 days to rest and stay in touch with nature. The Chalet is really welcoming and equipped with all the services. We look forward to coming back because we also had a very good time with Nienke and Gelmer who were very, very welcoming to us and also very kind.

Very friendly hostess and clean, well-kept accommodation. It was very cozily furnished, and you immediately feel comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. In a few minutes you could reach the dyke and the beach. The garden is fully enclosed, so our HSH dog could easily roam freely. There are also two forests that can be reached within a 20 minute drive and offer special dog areas (dog free running) – these are highly recommended.”

The cottage was the perfect place to spend cozy evenings after long autumn days in the Friesland nature. The kitchen is well furnished, so you don't miss anything. You can tell from all the amenities and the stylish ambiance that Chyla and Sjen go the extra mile for their guests. The ground floor is spacious and forms the main area of the property. The upper floor with bathroom and bedroom can be reached via a ladder-like staircase. The box spring bed is extremely comfortable. Upstairs, as a tall person, you have to pay attention to the narrow sloping roof so that you don't hit your head. We highly recommend the place.

We had a very nice stay in the beautiful cottage right on the waterfront. Communication beforehand was smooth and we found everything as described. There were two of us. With 2 larger children, it could be scarce and tight, especially as far as storage space is concerned.

We felt very comfortable with Petra and Rein. In the apartment there are many extras that you can use: canoes, whisper boat, sup, trampoline, table tennis, darts, swimming in the canal.... The apartment is lovingly furnished, you have an incredible amount of space both in the apartment, the barn and also in the outdoor area and can really enjoy the peace and quiet. The cats Sam and Moos, the droll chickens and of course Petra and Rein have made the stay an unforgettable experience.

Staying with Daphne and Pascal was beautiful! They are excellent hosts with a beautifully located house who were always super nicely accessible. The house is well furnished and had everything she needs for a great and relaxing time even for our 8 month old daughter. The Slotermeer was also very quick and easy to reach on foot, even though we unfortunately could not swim there at the moment. All in all, it was a beautiful and successful holiday. We'll be back!

I really enjoyed 3 days in Balk with the very friendly Judith and Jeroen. Beautiful homestay, super clean and tidy. Beautiful area within walking distance of Slotermeer. Beautiful garden with various seating areas where you can relax and read breakfast. The surroundings are also beautiful, in my opinion the most beautiful part of Friesland. I would 100% recommend this homestay and I will definitely return here. Thank you very much for everything!

We had a super nice time here. Froukje responded quickly and super helpful to messages and gave us insider tips for activities. The house is lovingly decorated and has everything you need. It is quiet and a bit hidden, you have a small oasis there. It is not far to the beach and varied excursions are also possible without spending hours on the road. You can park not far from the house. The wagons and parasol are also provided, as well as bicycles. We have nothing to complain about and will be happy to come back :-)
