The space
The Overwatch Cabin
Cabin sleeps up to 15 guests in a variety of unique spaces, allowing everyone to choose their perfect spot!
Located on the north side of Lake Arrowhead, the cabin is just minutes from the lake, Village shops, restaurants, and local attractions. 🐟
The Space
Master Bedroom (Sleeps 2)
Features a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom with stand-up shower, and a private balcony perfect for morning coffee or tea. Enjoy the ambiance of the electric fireplace as the sound of a crackling fire helps you drift off to sleep. The room also includes an AC unit and blackout curtains for maximum comfort.
Hallway Closet
You'll find all the extras here, including air mattresses, extra sheets, blankets, pillows, a high chair, and a Pack 'n Play for little ones.
Living Room
Cozy up by the gas fireplace in the winter or stay cool with the split AC unit in the summer. The Samsung Frame Smart TV and Sonos speaker provide endless entertainment. Relax on one of the sofas, enjoy a good book, or take in the beautiful mountain views through the large picture windows. The heater and electric fireplaces can be controlled from the iPad in the entryway or manually.
Kitchen
Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen designed for gathering with family and friends. The spacious counter area is perfect for serving meals, and the craft ice maker is ready for your favorite beverages. A dual Keurig coffee maker is stocked with complimentary coffee and tea, and spices are conveniently located next to the microwave. Four bar stools provide seating for those who like to keep the cooks company.
Dining Area
The dining table seats six, with additional chairs available in the upstairs closet. Gather for meals, games, and conversation while enjoying spectacular mountain sunset views through the picturesque windows.
Guest Bedrooms (Sleeps 4 Total)
Both main-floor guest bedrooms feature comfortable queen-size beds, closet space, electric fireplaces, blackout curtains, and hangers for your convenience.
Main Bathroom
Located on the main floor and stocked with spa-quality towels and toiletries.
Laundry Closet
Washer and dryer are available for guest use and supplied with detergent and dryer sheets. An iron and ironing board are also provided.
Loft Area (Sleeps 2)
A queen-size bed and recessed lighting create a cozy retreat for additional guests. Please note that access is via a narrow staircase and the loft is an open space without a door.
Camp-Out Room (Sleeps 5)
Decorated to make you feel like you're camping among the trees! This fun guest favorite includes one full teepee bed, two twin teepee beds, and a twin pull-out trundle. Please note that ceilings are low in some areas, so guests over 5'6" may need to duck.
Game Room (Sleeps 2)
Features a queen pull-out sofa, Smart TV, game table, and a variety of games. Enjoy two arcade games—Pac-Man and Big Buck Hunter. The third bathroom is located just off the game room and is stocked with towels and toiletries. French doors provide access to the backyard, which is great for sledding in winter and additional parking when snow is not present. (No parking is permitted during snow season, as this area is not plowed.)
Safety Features
For your peace of mind, the cabin is equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout. Fire extinguishers are located in the upstairs hall closet, under the kitchen sink, and in the game room. Flashlights can be found in the kitchen drawer across from the refrigerator.
There is one Ring camera at the front door and one Ring floodlight camera behind the cabin. We disable access to the cameras during guest stays to respect your privacy. These cameras are used only for security when the home is vacant.
Entryway
Welcome to The Overwatch Cabin! Enjoy keyless entry with a unique 4-digit code provided for your stay. After conquering the stairs down to the cabin, relax in one of the entry chairs and settle into your mountain retreat. Guests have full access to the entire 2,150-square-foot home.
Outdoor Space
Take in spectacular mountain views from the balcony off the living room, which leads to a large concrete patio with a picnic table and additional seating. Outdoor games include Jenga, Connect 4, Tic-Tac-Toe, Axe Throwing, and Cornhole. The gas BBQ grill is located on the balcony. Multiple seating areas around the property provide peaceful spaces to relax and enjoy nature, and guests can enjoy a private walk behind the cabin.
The Area
Nestled in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest, Lake Arrowhead is a charming mountain resort destination. The Village, shops, and restaurants are just a 10-minute drive away. SkyPark at Santa's Village is located only 5 miles from the cabin and is a favorite among visitors.
Nearby public lakes include Lake Gregory, Green Valley Lake, and Big Bear Lake. Be sure to check out our welcome book for additional recommendations and local activities.
Please note that Lake Arrowhead is a private lake; however, guests can enjoy lakeside walks through the Village and take a ride on the Arrowhead Queen Tour Boat. For summer lake activities, we highly recommend Lake Gregory.
🌲 Important Note About Trash & Wildlife
We love sharing our cabin with guests, but we also share this mountain with bears, raccoons, and other curious wildlife. To keep everyone safe and help preserve the natural environment, all food-related trash must be taken to the local mountain disposal sites before departure.
This county requirement helps prevent wildlife from accessing trash and protects both guests and animals.
