The space
From the moment you enter, the waterfall immediately captures your attention. This hideaway was thoughtfully designed to offer a view of the waterfall while ensuring privacy, tranquility, and comfort, accompanied by a soothing soundscape. The design is a unique blend of angles and windows providing spectacular views , both inside and outside the home. Discover the beauty of nature with hiking trails leading to an overlook bar or to the stream below the waterfall. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of the waterfall while you cozy up by the wood-burning stone fireplace to read a book, engage in a game, or relax by the gas firepit on the deck. This stunning and enchanting property is where heaven and earth come together creating a truly relaxing and cozy retreat. During your stay, you may spot bald eagle, quail, wild turkey, owls, black bear or deer.
The main level features solid heart pine floors, an open living and dining area adorned with a floor-to-ceiling glass wall of windows, cathedral ceilings, and exposed wood beams. It also includes a stone wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances, a powder room with slate flooring, and a laundry room. Additionally, there is a deck furnished with Adirondacks , a gas fire-pit table, a gas barbecue , and a hammock swing, all overlooking the waterfall. The modern kitchen, fully equipped with stainless steel and granite countertops , includes a wine refrigerator along with everything needed to prepare full meals.
The loft king bedroom is adorned with views of the waterfall and the surrounding forest thru a two-story wall of glass. The soothing sound of the waterfall will gently lull you to sleep, ensuring a restful night in a cozy plush king bed. Additionally, there is an en-suite bath with oversize soaking tub/shower, travertine floors and double vanity.
Lower level living room is furnished with a sofa chaise (converts to a bed) with gas fireplace/ heater (thermostatically controlled) and small deck with view of the waterfall, and full bath with tub and shower.
The plush king bedroom on the lower level opens to a covered porch with hammock, chaise lounge, bar stools, dart board and waterfall view.

Guests have access to the entire home except the linen lockup, owners closet and locked cabinet in kitchen.
Other things to note
✔️ Startup supplies are provided, including coffee, sugar, creamer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher & laundry detergent , shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap.
✔ Our waterfall flows year-round, but is particularly strong in spring or after heavy rain. Hiking to the stream below the waterfall is at your own risk. The rocks can be very slippery and can cause serious injury or death. Please exercise caution.
✔ AT&T or T-Mobile cell service works best.
✔ WiFi available for remote work
✔ Paved roads lead all the way to the gate of the property, although some are steep (including driveway). Use the lowest gear when approaching. Driveway is paved at steep sections. 4WD usually only necessary if ice, snow, or the occasional heavy wet leaves in the fall.
✔ A bundle of firewood is provided for the fireplace from October 1 to April 1.
✔ Wildlife including bears are common. For your safety, don’t feed or approach them and keep your car doors locked.
✔ Bring insect repellent for outdoor activities. You may encounter ticks, poison ivy, spiders, or other insects & creatures. Check clothing & shoes before entering home after being in the woods
✔ Winter weather can be unpredictable; AWD or 4WD with chains is recommended in snowy conditions.
✔No refunds for weather/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. We recommend you purchase trip insurance at time of booking.
✔️We have a ring camera at our front door that records audio & video for security. No other cameras are on the property .
