The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even a lot longer. Even though the cabin lies by itself practically on a pile, lay it on a farmer's yard, cows sheep and lambs in the vicinity. The cabin has a character, is more than 100 years old and has between anna a large, printed Viking ship model hanging on the ceiling. The entire cabin was restored a few years ago and then got modern equipment such as a new bathroom with heating cables and new kitchen with all necessary equipment.

Here you will find most things, including swimming pools. Lots of opportunities for great mountain hiking and other nature experiences all year round. Svandalen Ski Center is 15 min away by car. The cabin is rented out to guests who respect that they live in our private cabin and are NOT rented out for parties and private events.

The shoreline offers swimming opportunities and the Å krafjord offers good fishing opportunities. The house is located in a wild and magnificent natural area with fjord and mountains. Here are good opportunities for some nice walks in the beautiful surroundings. Grocery store about 200 meters away. Petrol and diesel are also sold here. The cabin has wireless internet and chromecast for TV.

In this fjord cabin you will wake up in idyllic surroundings, with a fantastic sea-view and the forest, mountains and fjord close by. The cottage is spacious and open, and offers a calm atmosphere with the fragrance of sea and magical sunsets. There are great hiking opportunities right out the door. A day trip to Trolltunga, Preikestolen, Langfoss, Bondhusbrea (glacier) and many other great local attractions. For skiers and alpine enthusiasts, it's about 1 hour to beautiful Røldal and Seljestad.

Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.

It is situated close to beautiful beaches, family-friendly activities such as swimming, beach volleyball, fishing, and not least fantastic hiking opportunities in the fields and mountains. We have kayaks that can be borrowed for free. Hammock and fire pit. It is close to public transportation and a store. The climbing park "Høyt og lavt" is a 5 min drive by car or bus. The cabin is recently completely renovated and contains the living room and kitchen in one, 3 bedrooms with room for 6 - 8 people, bathroom, basement with washing machine, internet and TV. It is easy access by car all the way to the doorstep.
