Monthly Rentals in Silver Sands

We booked the apartment late and did not realise Barbados was such a popular place during the Christmas Holiday season. Stefano was super communicative for a long period before and during our stay. He also helped us find a rental car (which was not easy) and gave us recommendations regarding places to Kite, Windsurf and surf. Location is the best on the island and a nice mix of local houses and international people's holiday homes. Apartments are super simple and have all you need to cook at home. We had a great time!

I had a WONDERFUL time at The View. The location is as described...BUT BETTER. The unit was very clean and neat. Everything needed for a quiet, enjoyable, and relaxing holiday is available. The view of the ocean from the penthouse is beyond breathtaking. There is also a beautiful, private beach area about a 3-4 minute walk from the unit. Bent and Cornelia are outstanding hosts. They provided local guidance for buying groceries, restaurants, and getting around by bus or taxi. They took me to a local market where fresh fish is sold each day! We also went to a local farmer's market where endless sweets, coffee, and other goods are sold. I HIGHLY recommend staying at The View and plan to return again!

Sonjia is a great host and I really enjoyed my stay at her place. The place is very comfortable and a short walk from the surfers beach. Be prepared to take a Reggae bus into town for a swimming or snorkeling beach and to get decent restaurants.

This is a sweet gem. The sound of the waves at night is really special. The family running this is warm and wonderful. The south is a special place. Not much walking distance though I did walk to the nearest beach in 30 mins. Car recommended. A great date exactly as described. Host went above and beyond - we asked for a blender and they had one there waiting for us. Would stay again!!
