Ellen’s little oasis was immaculate and cozy . She went way above herself in providing more amenities than most airbnbs even sunscreen and body lotions . She was very generous with her offerings including gourmet coffee . I will most definitely return . It’s in a beautiful peaceful desert landscape yet close drive to historic downtown and shopping stores It’s a wonderful desert experience Do bring a flash lite !

We loved our month at the Casita. My favorite part was the sunny back deck. The lack of washer and dryer was no problem, because it was easy to do a quick hand wash in the bathtub and then dry the clotheson the deck—we just bought a clothes drying rack from Walmart and never had to go to the laundromat. The heater worked really well, and it felt so cozy on chilly nights. The Internet was excellent. I worked remotely and never had a problem. The kitchen was great – – microwave, big stove with oven, full-size refrigerator, lots of pots and pans… I did a lot of cooking and it felt like home. The showers were plenty hot. We took short showers and never had any problem with running out of hot water. We were fine without a TV. Silver city is a great place for area hiking (be sure to do the Catwalk) and doing other short trips, such as Chiricahua National Monument (amazing) City of Rocks and Guadalupe National Park. We enjoyed mountain biking in the Bayard trails. We want to come back.

Beautiful and quiet home! Perfect for what we needed for our home away from home while welcoming our second child to the world. Safe and comfortable environment for our oldest to stay with grandparents and have home cooked meals while being away from us. She was even excited to go there at the end of long days at the hospital and breaks throughout the day. It was convenient and close by to the hospital, other family and local parks! Will definitely be staying here again in the future because it was perfect for our growing little family to be comfortable and have our own space! Thank you for this beautiful option in my hometown!
