Good location, with a pretty good view of Fuji. Loved having the space!

It was nice to be able to experience a traditional Japanese house. It was a good light to have a barbecue while looking at Mt. Fuji in the parking lot. The house was old but the linens were clean and fluffy. If you want to have a barbecue, it's good to prepare a table and a mat chair. The barbecue while looking at Mt. Fuji is the best!

This Airbnb exceeded all of my expectations, and my room was so spacious with a beautiful view of Fuji! I would 100% stay here again, and all the main attractions were within a 15/20 min walk, or a 10 min bike ride if you rent! So peaceful since it is a bit private, and I absolutely loved it. This place is great if you are visiting kawaguchi- it’s 30 mins by local bus but there’s pick up and drop off service from kawaguchi station for check in and check out. I was there for the 7th fujisan marathon and I arrived the day earlier. The house is really clean and there’s towel, soup and shampoo provided too. The bed and pillow are super comfortable as well. There’s curtain to ensure privacy and there’s 4 bunk bed in one room. The area is very country side and it will be perfect if you are driving . You can park there :) there’s also tatami room downstairs. The host is super helpful and very fast response to all my questions. When I took the bus back home after the marathon and it was the last bus, she waited on me and I actually missed one stop and she drove out to find me. Thank you very much 有里小姐❤️ The breakfast included in the price is very delicious (miso soup, rice, fish and egg). Highly recommended this place for anyone who visit kawaguchi :) next time I will come with my family too :)

Beautiful place and lovely hosts. The town is quite derelict, but if you’re looking for a place to stay in the area this is the best bet

Tohru and his wife are awesome hosts and the room was just perfect, with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji! Tohru even picked us up from the station, which was super nice, and he also gave us some of his beautiful pictures of Mt. Fuji as a gift! We also loved the neighbourhood, which we explored with the free bikes. Highly recommend this place, arigato gozaimasu, Tohru! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is one of the best air b&b’s we have ever stayed in! It gave us everything and more we were hoping for for a ‘traditional Japanese ryokan’ and the view of Mount Fuji was better than we could have ever imagined!! Shogo’s family met us on arrival with a lovely warm welcome and let us check in early. The place is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities we could have needed. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again! Thank you so much for a stay to remember!! :)

We've been very comfortable! We have been treated great and the best part is the views of Mount Fuji and the service you have for renting bicycles! The place is beautiful and she is very kind! He picked us up and took us to the house by car.

We were blown away the moment we stepped in—an amazing, renovated traditional Japanese house with thoughtful details throughout. Super spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were some bugs (spiders and cockroaches), and a bathrobe would’ve been a nice extra touch. Also, be aware there’s construction right next door—mornings can get noisy. Still, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. The onsen and traditional Japanese dinner were memorable. We also were able to see Mt Fuji from the window. Cherry blossoms were in bloom. It was quintessential.

Our stay here was amazing! The hosts spoke very little english but were amazing at using google translate, they explained everything about using onsen respectfully etc which made us feel much more comfortable, and made our stay so much more peaceful. Everything was clean and organised, we got a lovely free breakfast and had a traditional dinner which was a very cool experience. The host was even lovely enough to drop us off at the station the next day! Will absolutely recommend this to anyone coming to Japan, great to spend a few days here to relax and unwind before heading home.

I had such a great time staying at Issei and Kana’s. They were both so friendly and made me feel right at home. The location couldn’t be any more convenient, like a 2 minute walk to Rokugou station. The night I arrived I mentioned I might want to explore by bike, and the next day they had one ready for me to rent (for super cheap, like $8). The room itself was very pretty with a beautiful garden view, and the home-cooked meals were delicious, including the wagyu beef which was incredible. Issei and Kana was super easy going and responsive and made my stay very easy. Thanks guys!

We had a great time and a supreme cultural experience staying with them and eating an incredible dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend if you'd like the true ryokan experience!
