This is a private rental inn in a 130-year-old house that the host renovated himself. In the house, there are thick beams that give a sense of history, a view that seems to go on forever, a traditional Japanese sunken hearth that feels nostalgic, a warm wood stove, and a Goemon bath outside. We hope you can feel the essence of living in the countryside while experiencing the slow flow of time in the countryside. For meals, you can bring in ingredients and cook them in the kitchen, which has an IH heater, fridge, microwave, and toaster, or you can grill the ingredients on the lava plate or in the Irori pot on the Irori fireplace. There is also a field behind the house, and depending on the season, you can harvest fresh vegetables and eat them as they are. There are two types of baths, an indoor unit bath and an outdoor Goemon bath where guests can light the fire themselves. The bedroom is tatami mats and futons. The bedroom has air conditioning for a comfortable night's sleep. Reclining chairs are available on the wooden deck, so please enjoy the view of the countryside.

It was a very natural place, an old house with a good atmosphere, and the water area was clean and very easy to spend time in.Two toddlers visited us, and they seemed to be walking around in the Heike family.The outdoor place was also quite spacious, and the BBQ was relaxing. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance. Thank you very much.

The Airbnb was very clean and big, was very pleasant. The kitchen is equipped with some kitchen appliances, so you can cook great. Only some salt or spices would have been missing. The bathroom was really nice and the hot tub. The view of the balcony was also beautiful. Only downside was: It is a bit remote, it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the nearest supermarket and to rent a bike, we needed 50 minutes. All the appliances (kitchen, bathroom,...) are in Japanese so you have to deal with it until it works. I highly recommend Airbnb if you want to relax and look at Fuji. We will be happy to come back !

Fujisakura-san was a wonderful host. The place was excellent, offering a clear and unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji from both the terrace and the living room. It was clean, well-maintained, and the host provided detailed instructions that made everything smooth and easy.

This is my second time staying at this Airbnb, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The place is consistently clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The bed is super comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable (perfect for working remotely), and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay. What I appreciate most is the host's attention to detail and warm hospitality. Check-in was smooth, communication was prompt, and they went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The location is also a huge plus it safe, quiet, and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and key attractions. It’s rare to find a place that offers this level of quality and service at such a great value. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed.
