Islam’ place has everything you need and located in a peaceful neighborhood. Not many tourists and “one dollar”s. You can feel the real life of Egyptian. In addition, Islam and his father are super friendly and always there for help. Highly recommended.

One of the best places I've ever stayed, Safe is the person in charge, he welcomes you with a tea or coffee and a chat, some advice, he's attentive and makes good recommendations even in other cities, in my case he recommended another hostel where I also felt comfortable and above all safe. The hostel really has a spectacular and quiet atmosphere 😌

It was one of the most unique experiences we had. The hosts are really helpful with everything, helped us to get there, booked our Abu Simbel trip, cooked amazing (incl vegan) food, took on a free walking tour…. I would even recommend my friends to visit this place.

Beautiful little house almost by the Nile. The premises were perfectly clean. The cherry on top: a top roof overlooking the Nile. We were also able to go up the Nile at a very good price thanks to Mustafa's boat. I therefore highly recommend this place. Just hope that Elephantine Island, in full development, will retain its Nubian identity!
