Monthly Rentals in Sharrow Bay

Luxurious place and little extra bits and bobs made us feel very special like the slippers, robes and nibbles in the kitchen.

I only stayed for one night but wish I could have stayed longer. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped property ideally located near the M6, Lake District, Eden Valley and walkable to Penrith town centre. Easy to find and check-in. Would recommend.

David’s place is a fantastic little cottage which was brilliant for our family of four (boys 4 and 6). The house was spotless and as described. The surroundings are very peaceful, nestled a short walk from the centre of the small village of Dacre. David was very proactive and responsive when messaging and I would strongly recommend his cottage for a fantastic Lakeland stay! We would love to return at some point.

We have just had a weekend at the boat house. Jayne got in touch to ask if we were celebrating an occasion. I told her it was both of our birthdays (4 days apart) and the welcome could not have been warmer. Birthday balloons, a banner a chocolate cake with candles and petals sprinkled. Jayne also asked what our drink preference was and I mentioned a nice Malbec. There were 2 glasses on the side with 2 bottles of Malbec waiting for us. It was so inviting and quite overwhelming when we arrived! What a place. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Such a stunning location and so relaxing that we felt like we didn’t want to go out for long as we wanted to maximise our time in the boat house. Thank you Jayne for sharing such a special place.
