Chalet in St Catherine, a hamlet right next to the center of vars, with the stop of the free shuttle 20m away, the vineyard the white forest is ideal for a week with family or friends, there is something for all tastes: large ski area with all levels, several snowpark, several groomed pedestrian paths, away from the slopes for an assured change of scenery, outdoor swimming pool, tobogganing... in short, we are not bored. special mention for corinne and thierry, kindness and kindness at all times, the service of ordering breakfast with free delivery at home is a real plus! super flexible for the management of the departure... we will be happy to come back!

A nice place to stay. From the balcony you can see the mountains and overall the apartment has everything you need. Check-in was great and Loris was very nice. The kitchen had everything you need and also had some ingredients available, not just salt and pepper. You should be aware that the accommodation has no WiFi, but otherwise it is great and also St Jean d Maurienne is excellent for a stay.

While it’s not new, and some rooms could use a bit of renovation, it has a very cozy and warm atmosphere that makes it feel like home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed for cooking, which made meal prep super convenient. The location is fantastic—just 200 meters from the ski area, making it perfect for winter sports enthusiasts. Another big plus is the excellent internet connection, which was reliable throughout our stay. Overall, a great place to stay, and we look forward to coming back!

There is parking for a couple of cars, the wifi is excellent, there are comfortable beds and the place is very well equipped. There is an extensive garden with goats, chickens and rabbits - all very nice. There are also several (four?) dogs. The host is friendly (gifts of eggs, walnuts and chocolate cake) and very responsive - recommended for a tranquil stay.

We stayed at Amélie's during Christmas week. The apartment is very well furnished and equipped for cooking. It is spacious and carefully decorated. The equipment is of quality and very well maintained. The bedding is clean and of good quality. We had no problems parking in the parking lot reserved for the residence. Amelie is extremely responsive and very caring. We will probably come back to enjoy the setting in summer. You can leave your car for the week and enjoy the free shuttles to Chantemerle or the Briançon Monetier bus line 200 m from the residence. In summary, no complaints, you can go there with confidence!

Having the sofa in the living room is really no problem as it unfolds in a turn of hand, is very comfortable (160cm wide) and you wake up with a great view of the mountains. The terrace is very pleasant (sun until late afternoon). The apartment is very well arranged and offers plenty of storage. It is very well equipped, nothing is missing. Shops and restaurants nearby, the car stays in the garage. Ski-in/ski-out (a one-minute walk from the building door in April). The parking spot is perfect, very secure and covered. The apartment is in an excellent location, with the ski locker on the same floor and then a very very short distance to the slope. Oliver was very responsive before and during the stay. I would recommend the underground parking. The apartment WiFi is for single user, however (weaker) local area WiFi also available. Great shower with hot water at all times, and the heated towel rail was a bonus. As others have reported, the views from the balcony are beautiful.

There are two bedrooms on one side - one with two single beds, the other with a BZ-style convertible of adequate comfort but for some maybe a little sketchy, separated by a shower room. A very well-equipped central kitchen living room overlooks a large terrace facing the mountain. On the other side there is a large bedroom with a bathroom. There is everything you need for a great vacation for 6. In this season (15-22 March) the pool area, sauna, jacuzzi and gym we sometimes had almost to ourselves - perfect for relaxing. We'll be happy to go back.
