Family-friendly vacation rentals in Schoorl

Justus & Heleen's house is absolutely fantastic, the photos don't do it justice as it is larger and better equipped than described. Extremely comfortable and for us ideally situated being only 10 minutes drive from the Medemblik Regatta Center where we were sailing. The area is peaceful, and local supermarkets excellent as well as a local restaurant serving good food. We will be back soon!

What an incredibly nice place for a family! Together with my husband and our 2 young children, we had a great time, many playground equipment for the children and for us as parents a gift to go in the hot-fired jacuzzi as soon as the kids were in bed! Also very sweet welcome gifts for the children and some delicacies that were already ready. Clean and tidy pipo. Worth repeating!

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a quiet and peaceful stay outside Amsterdam. Marcel was very helpful and welcoming, always in touch. The bungalow was clean and cozy, we had a very pleasant stay there. Can only recommend ;)

Our family had a perfect stay. House was beautiful, close to the city by ferry, restaurants on the waterfront and we even got in a swim just 10mins walk from the house. Was great to be able to use the bikes too. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms modern and clean with great showers.

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

You can’t beat the view of the skinny bridge! Boat was clean and comfortable, but know it is a houseboat so there are quirks that are not bad, just be aware on low headroom in bedroom, steep steps etc. beds were comfortable, ample towels and dishes.

The apartment is ideally located – only 2 minutes' walk to the city center and in 5 minutes you are already on the beach. The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. I would particularly like to highlight the hosts: super warm, helpful and likeable – you felt welcome right away. Thank you for a great stay, we will be happy to come back!

There were three of us with my cat and we all felt very comfortable! A lovingly furnished apartment in the perfect location. The bathroom is a bit small but serves its purpose. We will certainly come back again! Annette is a very nice host!

I highly recommend Esther and Eric's place, both very friendly. Very good hosting, everything was perfect, accommodation, bedding. Excellent communication with Esther, very good advice. Many places to visit around, Haarlem and Volendam in particular... very nice discovery, and finally Amsterdam with its many points of interest.

We came for the 2nd time and were again very happy with everything.

how can we not start without talking about Erik... someone who is attentive to these tenants. Before, during and after the reservation, he is always available and attentive: thank you! The accommodation is ideally located in Volendam and fully equipped. We had a great week with our dachshund... dog friendly Erik 😉

We have now spent our vacation in Annet's apartment for the second time with our children. The accommodation has enough space and is lovingly furnished. Annet is a great host. She is accommodating, friendly and we felt very comfortable in her apartment. The campsite offers many attractions and play opportunities for children. Thank you Annet for your hospitality!

A quick ride from Amsterdam Central to a small harbor off the Main Street. Walkable to all the main attractions in Central Amsterdam and an easy spot to catch an Uber if you want to go further. The houseboat was as described on a quiet dock with friendly neighbors and two awesome houseboat cats Bo and Skipper. This was especially important since we were in town when Kings Day occurred and after a walk around the festivities, it was nice to retire from the craziness and relax on top of the houseboat. The host met us onboard walked us through everything and provided easy contact information for use during our stay. Check-out was a breeze. A great find and a great value!

Evelien was wonderful, kind and helpful. The apartment was just as it was described and the pictures are what you enter as well! Perfect apartment for us and our little girl 15 months old. the bed was soooo comfortable! the apartment was clean and well looked after. we didn't hear any noise apart, it was incredibly peaceful.

Great place for peace and quiet. Right next to a park that feels safe at night. Lie in bed and watch the stars through the window above. Weesp is charming, clean, and safe - just walking around the streets is a pleasure. Book this place if you like somewhere that’s a bit novel, a mini adventure. It’s so much more fun than staying in an ordinary room. Don’t book it if you want modern comforts such as hot water and clothes hanging space. It’s a boat! Also don’t book if you have mobility or balance issues. I stayed two nights and I would recommend. Host is warm and friendly. Dog is fluffy and chill.

The accommodation is in a great location, yet quiet and everything you need such as food, bike rental, etc. are in the immediate vicinity. Very friendly contact with Nancy and her husband. My children and I loved it and can only recommend the accommodation!
