Heart of Franeker is an excellent and clean attic apartment! Excellent base for the town and the surrounding area. The only “but,” out of the host's fault, is that there's no stove - but that's compensated with a surplus of hospitality, literally around the corner. Great place, so!

We found the accommodation easily, it is located at the edge of the village of Tzummarum in the countryside. It is located on the 2nd floor of a workshop and is very bright with large windows and views of the countryside. There was no disturbing noise. We "fought" a bit with turning on the TV, the dishwasher and the hood, but that was certainly due to our ignorance of the appliances. At 67 and 75 years old, we are not always so fit with technology😂. Our hosts were very friendly and nice people who made living in their apartment comfortable and pleasant for their guests. Me and my girlfriend where there for a few days. It was a good place to enjoy the countryside. The eggs were especially good ;) Thank you!

Already when booking we got clear information about our stay. Upon arrival we were extremely warmly welcomed by the hostess. The spacious room is equipped with a comfy bed, a table and a pretty well equipped kitchen. The bathroom and the rest of the building are spotlessly clean. There are more than enough towels available. In short, an absolute recommendation for those looking for a central but quiet base to explore the Wadden coast and the Frisian cities.
