This place is amazing. The view over the cliffs and the ocean is like out of a movie, especially when you’re in the pool. The interior design is very luxurious. And the privacy of the location of the property is outstanding. Just make sure you have the host send you a location pin on Google Maps, as the place is not easy to find initially. But once you’re there, the secluded location is one of the prime benefits of this beautiful home.

Great place, very clean, modern, with AMAZING balcony, extremely nice host who gave us recommendations and was very helpful from very beginning to the very end. I recommend it from bottom of my heart ❤️

Beautiful location in the middle of the mountains. As if you were driving into a fairy tale. The house was beautiful and very quiet in terms of location. The decor was modern and clean. Good bathroom and kitchen and a great bed to rest in after a day of hiking in the most beautiful nature of Madeira. Central location about an hour's drive from the most distant Hikes and 40 min from Funchal. Also nearby, a 15-minute drive away, are some PR levada hikes. Host responded quickly to messages and was super helpful. Even left our own wine and offered to come to his home to taste more wine, however, we do not drink alcohol. Would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely stay here again if I ever go to Madeira again.

If I coma to Madeira again, I would for sure choose again Jose’s house. Amazing host, everything was perfect, you don’t even know that he exists 😊 Tv is great, fast internet, working desk is amazing with the electric socket just under the table, outside grill is also amazing,… view from terrace is amazing, always free parking space available. Just great, and by far the best host I ever had. Bravo Jose!

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

A nice unique place that incorporates the cliff side. Clean and well equipped. Parking is on the road below, about 35 steps up to the house. You can see the highway from the deck. There is some road noise but not bothersome. The path to the beach was closed.

Filipe is a great host! We felt totally comfortable – almost like at home. The view was simply a dream, whether of the sea or the banana plantations🤩. The journey was easy and the location top – quiet, relaxed and yet you got everywhere quickly. The accommodation had everything you need – there was nothing missing in the kitchen as in the bathroom. And we were very happy about the small guest gift – thank you for that! We definitely recommend the place and would love to return again!

Just back from a great stay! Photos of the accommodation didnt do it justice - the view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful. All the little things had been thought of (beach towels, coffee maker with filters etc) and the welcome pack of maderia wine, fruit and biscuits was really thoughtful. Our host was excellent at communicating and great at giving suggestions. We’ll be back!

Great stay! We saw this apartment and after booked tickets for flights, view is fantastic and all needed is inside apartment! Sunsets are attractive and view to the ocean from the bed is amazing!

My husband and I just returned from a fantastic 8 night stay at Lucio’s apartment. The apartment is large , was very clean and looked just like the photos. The location was a great starting point to explore the island. We enjoyed being in a quieter town that was still very central. There were plenty of restaurants that were walkable for dinner each night. We really enjoyed being able to relax on the balcony and in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Lucio was very friendly and responsive and has really set this apartment up with all the perfect amenities for a home away from home. We highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Madeira!

located in the center of Funchal this AirBnB is really one of the best I ever had. Clean rooms, nice bathrooms, a kitchen to cook, everything you need is there. Few walking minutes you find groceries and supermarkets and you are few minutes away from the central street and promenade of Funchal as well as the harbor. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and wireless is available. Parking is located inside the courtyard and is very safe. Just in front of the balcony you can find cafes, restaurants and local bars. I can really recommend this AirBnB to everybody.

Super friendly hostess who was always easy to reach and gave valuable tips. The location is beautiful, including a terrace overlooking the sea, green cliffs and mountains. Good starting point for many tours. The apartment has everything you need, including a comfortable and large bed. The bathroom has small minus points, could use an update (shower head, shower floor).

The stay at Juan’s House let us to relax in great atmosphere. The apartment is well equiped even including cofee machine. There is a view at ocean from taracce. It is very clean and very well prepared for guests.

The location is great, as there is a bus stop right in front of the building, with this bus you can easily get to Funchal within 15-20 minutes. Jose also offers an underground parking space. We were very warmly welcomed by Jose's mother, the communication was a bit difficult because she only speaks Portuguese and Spanish, but you could communicate well and we were shown the apartment and everything important. If you had any questions, Jose was always available and you got an answer from him within a few minutes. I would check back in anytime.

Well located accommodation. Small supermarket and bakery very close. As well as restaurants where you could eat. Everything available for a carefree holiday. Airport and Funchal are less than a 15-minute drive away.

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .

The place is in an amazing location. 5-star reception. I'll be back!

Everything perfect! Really nice place

We had a wonderful stay at the property. We particularly liked the magnificent view of the coast, the good amenities of the apartment and the quiet location. We felt completely comfortable and would rent the Airbnb again at any time!
