Very welcoming home. For the winter, very warm with the salamadra in the living room. access to the house is only made, through stairs. It can be difficult for those who have mobility difficulties.

The house is exactly as shown in the photos, it is tastefully decorated, and has everything you need to spend a few days for a couple with a child as was our case. It has all kinds of appliances and lots of warm linens for the beds, in addition to the house itself having heating. The contact was almost always established with Mr. Mário, who was always very affable, friendly and helpful and even offered us oranges, cheese, eggs and honey of his own production, all of excellent quality. The village is nestled in the middle of mountains, has a very typical appearance and is very cool. It is close to the major attractions of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, such as the Tower or the Long Pond, and also great restaurants with delicious typical food. The cuisine in this area is excellent. We were staying at the house at a time when it snowed in the Serra and as such it was an unforgettable experience. We definitely recommend it.
