Guesthouse vacation rentals in Santa Marta

It is a very cozy stay, both Marilyn and Jonathan were very good hosts giving us many good directions to visit the different attractions of Santa Marta. It is very well located for the good flow of public transport and taxis. The pool inside the hostel is super to cool off without having to travel to the beach. They offer very cheap and delicious breakfast and lunch. The experience here was excellent and I 100% recommend.

The family of the owner is really friendly and so are the stuff members. It was noisy due to renovations and constructions I have to admit. Meanwhile the familiarity and good vibrations of the place attract a lot of nice guests and during the month I stayed I made new local and fellow foreigner friends. The town center is easily accessible with "la U" bus line. The reception will be pleases to help you with everything you need to know.

Was perfect, everything perfect. Since the first moment where without asking he just offered to pick us up from the bus in santa marta, was very friendly during all the stay and even washed our clothes, and even cooked for us and invited us to his place on new years eve (and a great cook). Beautiful and private space with a very nice pool and lot of green with hammock and lots of place to just relax. Very comfortable bed. Great internet everywhere (room, pool, kitchen). Perfect place to just relax because you are staying at the end of the village so becomes very quiet, and very close to tu river, but still close enough in case you want to buy something or need to go to the restaurant or even to santa marta. Totally recommend it

Great location away from the towns and cities, lots of options for activities in the local area with lots of walking and swimming. Spent a week here and enjoyed being able to use the kitchen without any pressure to buy meals at the restaurant. The only downside was that the wifi was very intermittent, as we were so far away from the urban world. Thank you very much.

A very good place for a very low price.

The place is very nice, it is a little away from the hotel zone and it feels very quiet here among the hills. It is only a 30 minute walk to all the shops and cafes, even nicer walking along the beach. The room is very bright, has an AC and a balcony. There is also another large terrace that is shared. Ana and Luis are a beautiful couple, they very much respect the privacy of the guests, but at the same time they are always close in case you need anything. I recommend it 100% and would definitely stay here again.

We used the room as a base for a few other day trips, which worked great as it felt very safe and secure (there were multiple locks, and only a few other rooms) despite being a hostel not a private residence. The hostel was will equipped, with bottled water available in a week appointed kitchen. We didn't make much use of it, but the courtyard area was very beautiful and tranquil. We used the Laundry service which cost 5000COP per kilo, which was the cheapest we found anywhere. Good communication from the host in general. AC was very effective, shower was a good temperature. Generally very happy.

The stay was wonderful! Beautiful view! Luz is a fantastic host and breakfast was amazing with that view!!

A very nice, clean and cozy place. The gentlemen are very friendly and helpful to any request. I highly recommend it, close to the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets.

Highly recommend staying here for your Santa Marta visit. It is centrally located to all the best restaurants and experiences within the city, with everything a close walking distance. The staff are incredibly accommodating and do all they can to ensure you have a quality stay. The room was clean and comfortable.
