Monthly Rentals in Santa Gertrudis Sur

This is a great place if you're traveling on a budget! We had everything we needed for our stay while we located a permanent home rental. Josue was flexible and good to communicate with. This is a Tico house, so if you're new to Costa Rica, know that means no hot water except the in-line heater in the shower, no screens on the doors, and you shouldn't flush the toilet paper. But all that said, it's a comfortable house in the mountains with incredible views, and the cows are a bonus. We would recommend it to our friends!

Elsa was one of the first people we met in Costa Rica and showed us true Costa Rican hospitality. Her studio apartment was perfect for us, comfortable and very clean. I love that despite the fact that we had a language barrier, we all made it work. We stayed a week and felt safe and secure and very welcomed in her casa. She even gifted us a fresh mango, which was the best we ever had. Her friendliness and helpfulness were greatly appreciated. We felt like good amigas by our last day, and that is something that is very special to us. Muchas gracias Elsa for helping to make our 1st week in Costa Rica wonderful.

This was an amazing Airbnb. It’s in a perfect location with terraces overlooking the river and a private field. I was able to take calls while walking around the private field. I sat on the balcony watching the river flow. It’s very easy to work from there. There are flowers and mango trees on the property. The air conditioner kept the space very cool. I was able to walk across the yard right into a very nice restaurant on the river. I ate there every day.

Gigi is a wonderful hostess. my roommate and I had an unfortunate situation where we got locked out of the gate, it was our fault, but Gigi was very quick to help us. this is a fantastic Airbnb absolutely book it!
