Monthly Rentals in Santa Elena

There were so many great things about our stay! Having two bedrooms each with their own bathrooms was great. The kitchen was very well furnished with everything we needed for cooking. We appreciated the local coffee, snacks and cold beverages left in the in refrigerator.....such a nice welcome! We especially enjoyed sitting outside every evening for the view and watching the sun set. The location was great and we walked into town several times. Lastly and very importantly, the host was most helpful in giving in giving us suggestions and was extremely easy to reach. Some of our favorite activities were the El Tigre hike, breakfast at Stella's Cafe (and watching the monkeys!) and dinner at the Jungle restaurant.

Loved this place as it was very clean, comfortable bed, new, and a great view on the balcony. This is one of the best Airbnb’s that we have stayed at. Also, Carlos was an awesome host demonstrating care for us during our stay.

We loved this place. It was right in the heart of it all but tucked around in behind such that you had a nice view from our private deck, use of the pool, fire pit and tree swing. The garden was lovely, the pets were friendly but not annoying. Inside the place was clean and had everything we needed. The bed is firm but comfortable enough. Would definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed for a month and absolutely loved it here. Everything was comfortable and well thought out and well provisioned. There is a great balance of indoor and outdoor spaces, and I especially loved spending time on the outdoor patio with the view of the sunset and the Gulf of Nicoya. The beautiful yard was filled with trees and wonderful for viewing birds and wildlife, I was even able to harvest a lime to use in my drinks and leaves from a juanilama plant to make tea. :-). Evelyn is an excellent hostess, and a fabulous ambassador for Monteverde. She is also a skilled photographer, and I loved the artwork on the walls which included some of her work.
