Monthly Rentals in Sandy Hook Bay

It was easy to bond with Siobhan and feel at ease at this unpretentious, comfortable stay. The bedroom has its own lock, the full-sized bed was firm, and there was a private bathroom with ample towels. Siobhan set out material about nearby Sandy Hook National Park and recommended a new Mexican restaurant well within walking distance. If you like to get a run or walk into your day, check out the trails at either Hartshorne or Huber Woods county parks. Also, the bayside Henry Hudson Trail, with views of Manhattan, is nearby. My restaurant recommendation is JUS Organic (vegetarian), one mile away in Atlantic Highlands. Though our schedules did not permit us to interact much, I was touched by Siobhan's gracious hospitality.

This was our third year staying there, it always feels like home. Geraldine is there to greet you, show you around and makes sure you know you can get in touch with her at any time. The house is exactly like the photos, clean, plenty of space. There is a harbor and small beach within walking distance . There are plenty of beach towels, umbrellas, toys for a day at the beach. She makes sure on your first morning you have coffee, juice and homemade treats!! We will continue to stay here every year!!!!

I found Lonny because her home was convenient for the event I was in the area for. Lonny was very friendly & easy to be around. I had never rented a room through Airbnb (usually rent entire apartments), but I am glad I took a chance to be a guest in her home. The home was warm and inviting, the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe & it was a quick drive to restaurants. I arrived later in the evening than I had intended and she was fast to recommend a nearby restaurant that would be able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I made it there and got take out just before they closed. Overall had a great stay and am so glad I didn't spend more money by renting a hotel room. She was full of recommendations for the area & I appreciated it when she occasionally checked in on me while I was out.

We had a short visit to AH Carriage House. It was a great place to stay! The carriage house was a unique rental with a wonderful top floor deck, almost like being in a treehouse. The stairs could be a challenge. I do have a bad back but manage the stairs just fine because of the railings. Great living space upstairs, nice size kitchen if you plan to cook. Wonderful shower! The bedrooms were very nice, beds comfy, a very zen space. The area offers so many places to beach, eat and explore other towns. Kelly gave great suggestions.
