Apartment vacation rentals in Salzburg-Umgebung District

We stayed for 3 nights at Ruth’s lovely apartment. It just felt like home - warm and cosy. The house was well maintained and located in a quiet street. Yet close to the city Center - either a 15-20 minute walk or very frequent buses. There were also a few cafés and supermarkets nearby that Ruth had thoughtfully pointed out on a map kept on the dining table. The large TV with all the streaming apps in the living room was also a nice addition, as were a bunch of games across the apartment. Overall, Salzburg is a fantastic city and we will hopefully be back to explore the city while staying at Ruth’s apartment again.

This place was wonderful to stay at and the views were insane! Very spacious and big for a couple, and we loved playing soccer on the small field in the back! The neighbor was also helpful in guiding us to the main door when we couldn’t figure it out at first. Super great stay and although it was a bit extra work to have to figure out bus system to Salzburg, it was great and worth it!

I can't recommend highly enough. Such a stunning location within easy reach of all amenities yet totally peaceful. Loved the balcony for morning coffee and mesmerizing views. Refreshing pool with infrared sauna available from early till late. The hosts were really responsive, so friendly and easy to deal with. Loved the games room and the lovely walks directly from the property. Really close to so many beautiful hikes, Salzburg and many other cities are within easy reach. Mondsee Lake is stunning, enjoyed an early morning swim and found a wonderful spot (recommended by the hosts) to watch a magnificent sunset.

Great place to stay! It’s a charming apartment in an old building in a great location. Severin communicated everything in advance and stayed in touch throughout our visit. It’s easy to get to from the train station or the airport. We would definitely return if back in the area.

This apartment was perfect! About a 20 min walk from the train station and about a 15 minute walk to city center along the river. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with what we needed, and the bathrooms were clean. It’s located on a quiet street and we felt safe. Grocery store is only 2 mins away. Would highly recommend.

My stay at this place was great, it was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and the location of this place is great. Very near public transport and is a very walkable area. I would recommend this place to others.

A great place to stay. From booking Daisy and Alexander responded to all questions quickly and were very hepful. The apartment was perfect ; both clean and comfortable. It was also very close to a bus stop with good links to the city. We would recommend it.

Daniels place was clean and functional. just what you see in the pictures. I had a nice stay and no problems at all.

For personal reasons, Aigen Salzburg is in my heart. The stay in Barbara's wonderful house was extremely pleasant so I will want to book every time I return to this area. I found cleanliness, comfort, peace, an extremely pleasant atmosphere. It is so nice to take a walk around the surroundings, admire the wonderful landscapes and enjoy the fresh air and the trills of the birds. Everything you could need is close to home. We went by car and easily reached the center or other places in the city, to the concerts at the Osterfestspiele Salzburg and even to see Parsifal at the Tiroler Festspiele Erl. All of this would have been possible using other categories of transport. Thank you Barbara and I hope I can come back soon

Karl was a wonderful, welcoming, and attentive host! The property was perfect with everything we could need, in a wonderful town with easy access to groceries, restaurants, and the wonderful Mondsee lake. We very much look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful home-base for eight days. Beautiful mountains behind the house. Quiet part of town. Easy walk to Aigen train station or Bus 7 (160.) Plenty of room, very spacious for a European vacation stay. Great for a family to spread out. Felt very safe and secure. Plenty of cooking equipment and a SPAR grocery store really close. The washing machine was an added bonus. Salzburg is a great city, and so many beautiful destinations are just a train or bus away. (Loved the Wolfgangsee area and Lake Königssee.) Great Stay!!

Hello, very nice apartment, really well located near restaurants, tourist centers in a beautiful neighborhood.

We liked salt “just the two of us” a lot: it was easy to find, easy to unpack because it’s on the ground floor , also easy to walk the dog, but at the same time quite and peaceful. Nice comfortable apartment, but also modern and freshly renovated, with everything we needed and even what our doggy needed. The hosts were friendly and attentive. We will definitely book it next time we come.

Franz's place was a very nice place. It is close to a lot of wonderful food places like Vinothek and Stadtkrug. Everyone around the town was kind and always wishing to say hi. The mountains were beautiful everywhere you went looked like a postcard. The train station was within walking distance so you can easily take a day trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg. Most importantly Fran was responsive and always checked in to see how we were. Highly recommend.

Great location near main station and bus terminal, so easy to get to city sights and surrounding towns. Apartment was well equipped and exterior patio area was nice space.

Jacqueline is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with a big wave onto the driveway and was incredibly proactive, friendly and responsive throughout. She gave us clear instructions on arrival and the apartment had everything we needed plus essentials for our dog. The apartment was wonderfully decorated, so well that we did not want to leave. The whirlpool worked fantastically with a great back massage function and the log fire made our evening more magical. However the stand out of it all is the extremely comfortable bed and pillows. We had the best nights sleep we have had our entire three month trip. We cannot recommend Jacqueline enough.

The place was clean, cozy, and above all in a beautiful place. Absolutely sufficient kitchen amenities. What was absolutely TOP such a comfortable mattress. The host who greeted us with a smile was very nice and was in contact with us even during the stay. 10/10 I recommend :)

Stunning apartment that was even more amazing than the photos! The only problem was that our stay was too brief to enjoy the flat!

the hot tub was great view and location is also top very very clean, very friendly is recommended, summer toboggan run on a 15-minute walk 5 min walk to the wolfgangsee just great

Everything was super prepared for us and made us feel right at home! The children were happy about the games and color blocks that have been provided. The whirlpool was of course the absolute highlight!! We can only recommend your apartment and will definitely come again again!! We were also very pleased that so many little things and love were paid attention to details everywhere. The fridge was prepared with breakfast items, there was a sparkling wine for your birthday and even the children with a children's sparkling wine were thought of. Just super great!!

Very relaxing stay. Totally pleasing hosts. The pool was really great and the whole garden had sun all day. Very nice places easily and quickly accessible. Very suitable for running/hiking or just relaxing.
