We had an almost unbelievable "Winter Wonderland" experience in the villa during the days around New Year's despite the snow-free landscape all around: fantastic views from the windows of the white snow-covered trees already at breakfast, then the impressive hike along the Nothklamm ... We definitely want to come back in the summer to swim in the river and hike more ... Renate was wonderfully generous, easily accessible. Perfect place for a quiet weekend both as a retreat and as a base for other activities. The place was clean, high quality and cozy, the host communicative and friendly. We'd love to come back!

Even though the accommodation is a little bit dark we didn't feel uncomfortable. There is more than enough space, you got everything you need (even for more than just a few days) and everything was so clean. You can watch some birds right infront of the house. The neighbours were also really friendly and gave us some time recommendations. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay even though the weather didn't work out. The room with a comfortable bed, the heating on cold May days was also great, as was the private bathroom with hot water, that's exactly what we were most looking forward to after a day of hiking. We also enjoyed the balcony, which we only used due to the weather for breakfast with coffee on our last day. The shared kitchen and amenities could use a little love, but for our breakfast and quick occasional dinner cooking:) However, the location is great if you are going on hikes to Gesause and we will definitely come back because the price vs quality ratio still wins, and we are not demanding :)
