In the wild side of the island right in front of the Atlantic Ocean a little piece of paradise to spend a piecefull vacation away from "the world". Two Bedrooms King and Queen, one bathroom, kichen and living room a great patio at two minutes walk from the beach
“Fabio’s beach getaway far exceeded my expectations. The beach is walking distance, but you can see it from the balcony. The place was spotless and the location was quiet and relaxing. There isn’t much around as far as shops, eateries, etc but that is exactly why we enjoyed it. We cooked at home and bought from the local fresh fruit/veggie stand up the road. We had a morning visit from a cool little monkey, and she just sat and watched as we drank our coffee on the porch. My girlfriend loved the salon quality hair products offered. Fabio was a fantastic host and we are already planning on when we can get back there! Thank you thank you.”
Enjoy a beautiful house of spectacular sea views, surrounded by nature, with an open plan, loft and decks. Located between the beaches of Bathsheba and Martin's Bay in a non residential/touristy area. This area has more of a local village flavour.
“If you are seeking to experience a stay in Eco style accommodation and enjoy the natural scenic beauty and wildlife that Barbados has on offer, you have found the right place. Talking Trees offers plenty of space, we particularly enjoyed the almost wrap-around verhandas and the hammocks from where we saw a family of Green Monkeys on our first morning. There is loads to see and do on this side of the island. We loved Huntes Gardens where we met the owner, one can easily spend a couple of hours in this small piece of paradise. Further north is St. Nicholas Abbey, well worth a visit and is also close to the wild life centre. Try to get there for the 2pm feeding time, it was manic! Travelling to the furthest north we witnessed the most amazing waves near the Animal Flower Cave which made up for the caves not being open due to the spectacular crashing waves. Within a few miles of TT there are a few good restaurants. We particularly liked the Round House. We made use of Angeliques jeep, which was perfect for getting around, as the roads are not the greatest with numerous potholes. Finally Angelique was a great host, always prompt with responses despite being in Europe at the time of our stay.”
We call it 'The Bus that Rocks'. A unique, off grid living, nature lovers dream accommodation. A completely refurbished & restyled genuine Ex-Barbados Transport Board Mercedes bus. It has sleeping for for 4 people & an indoor toilet and washroom with al fresco bamboo shower.
“Oh what an experience ! We stayed at Grahame and Andrea’s place for four days but we hoped we spent the entire time with them! The bus is located in this beautiful paradise in the jungle area of Barbados. They are just beautiful people. The place is clean and cleaner of most places I’ve seen in Barbados. It is a unique experience. You definitely need a car to get in there but I think you need a car to travel anywhere in Barbados because most of the places are very remote. Grahame and Andrea will surely give you tips on car rental, places to visit in the area (Hunte’s Gardens, Welchman Hull Gully, Bathsheba, ecc ecc). We learned so much from them, they showed us their eco sustainable and energy self sufficient way of living in the nature and with the nature. We made a bonfire and the full moon was shining and enlightening all the valley, we made candles, we painted the bus, we saw the monkeys in the wild...the whole experience reminded us the true meaning of Airbnb.”
