Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint Helens

We had a great stay at the cottage! Very spacious living room, lovely garden and patio area, so well and tastefully equipped kitchen, good quality mattress and bed linen. Great quality range of bath and washing products. Bonus were games and toys to entertain kids and even adults. We loved listening to old school vinyls in the evenings. Mandy was great and gave us lots of things to do with the children.

We descended on Niall’s property for a book club weekend, after reading Northanger Abbey and wanting to visit Jane Austen’s house (approx 20min drive away). The house was so remote and peaceful, an expansive garden with beautiful views. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living room was perfect for a comfy chat. We did have a few issues which were all speedily resolved by a friendly, proactive host. All in all, a fabulous weekend.

Really nice place - the photos actually don't do it justice at all! Great outside and indoor space for approx 10 people to have a bbq, play games and have a meal together. Great local walks too so really happy

We had a lovely stay at Forest View during our half term break. Our party consisted of 3 adults and 2 children. The accommodation offered lots of space for us to sleep comfortably, and 2 bathrooms were super helpful for us all. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the conservatory playing games when we were not out and about. For us the accomodation was quite expensive. Perhaps because our party was too small. They price seems spot on if 3 families are sharing. The host was super flexible with our check in time. This was incredibly helpful as we travelled with a toddler. On check out, we ended up rushing around to make sure there's no dishes left in the dishwasher, as requested by the host. And ended up washing up by hand. I found this part a little too strict perhaps. Other hosts we used requested that dishwasher is simply turned on before departure. Overall we had a wonderful stay, a big thank you to our hosts 💕

Thi house is comfortable cosy every you need, lovely snacks, Tea coffee milk cereal. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, gorgeous top quality bedding. This house is stunning. Thi aloud us an early check-in and also was very kind when I asked to leave a few hours later the morning we was leaving, she responded yes very quickly, thank you Thi. West Wittering beach is only 20 minutes which we sent the day on. Amazing Airbnb, can't wait to come back.

Just wow, such a lovely place to stay. Has everything you need and felt like a home away from home. Visited in March but had to come back with my Partner for his birthday. The folder in the living room had lovely recommendations to visit in the surrounding area. Very peaceful stay, didn't want to come home from how lovely the cottage is. Well looked after, very clean and very local to the town. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone visiting Chichester.

A super flat at a very handy location in the centre of Brockenhurst, a 10 minute walk from the railway station. We particularly appreciated the spacious and well equipped kitchen. There is easy to access to numerous walking routes in the New Forest, both on foot and by train. Brockenhurst itself has numerous restaurants and pubs and a significant WW1 connection with NZ, about which there is a wealth of information at the parish church of St Nicholas and its churchyard.

It is great place to stay with your friends or family. The house is located very close to the train station, bus stop and not very far from the beach yet in a quiet neighbourhood.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. Had a great stay the house is fabulous very clean and spacious really central close to shops restaurants etc. We felt right at home. Anna was very responsive to some questions we had. We will definitely be booking again as we regularly visit the island as my brother and his family live there. Would highly recommend 👍

The stay at Rebecca and Jonathan‘s place was great. The guests are friendly and it was very easy to communicate with them and access the house. The house is stylish, cosy, very spacious, pristine everywhere and the view over the seafront is really pretty. The large kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances you can think of, from coffee machine to dishwasher and a large selection of utensils. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms functional. It was the perfect place for me and my three friends.

Absolutely stunning place! I had an incredible experience and enjoyed every moment of it. The host is very friendly and provided all the guidance I needed. I highly recommend staying here! I would definitely be using Credi’s place again.

Wonderful place to base yourself near Chichester. It was cosy but felt spacious for our family of 4. The terrace overlooking the fields made for great mealtimes and an area to relax. Plenty of great places to visit nearby. We particularly enjoyed Bosham (Anchor Bleu for lunch was a standout!), Petworth, Arundel and West Witerring for a blowy beach walk! 5 stars!

Rosie's place was lovely. Great views of sandown and the sea, a short walk from the sea front, and very spacious for the price. The owners are very thoughtful and the apartment was very well kept and tidy when we arrived. We had a wonderful holiday and I would highly recommend rosie's place for anyone looking to spend time on the isle of wight.

We were staying at Tim's place for few days with grandparents, two young kids and the dog. House is in a great location, few minutes from the beach, shops, playground and some local activities. House was spacious to accommodate us all. Driveway can accommodate up to two cars. Small but nice enclosed garden. Tim was responsive and was on hand to answer queries. :)

The house was the perfect place for our family and we enjoyed staying here so much we’ve actually already booked to come back! Having access to the beach meant being able to quickly pop down with our small children around bedtimes and naps and waking up to the view every morning was magical! The house had everything you could ever need, was so clean and comfortable and we instantly felt relaxed the minute we walked inside! Thank you Daisy! X

We loved our stay at the beach. Such a beautiful location and so different than our sand beaches we have in the US. The rocky beach may not be for everyone but it was perfect for us as we weren't going to be swimming in April anyways. The house itself was wonderful and inviting - nothing bad to say about it.

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

We absolutely loved Joanna's place and had a great weekend. It was extremely comfortable and in the perfect position to enjoy the beach and everything around us. Our dogs were also very happy and the garden was safe and secure for them with a bit of grass. The house is well laid out. The bedroom was comfortable and the linen first class. Joanna was helpful and welcoming and available at all times. Highly recommended!

The folly is a beautiful and magical place with great character. We spent a couple nights there over New Year’s Eve and it was perfect. Check in was flexible and very easy. The location is very peaceful and the garden and surroundings beautiful. Great pub with excellent food a few minutes drive down the road. We hope to be back in the summer.
