Vienna Apartment / Richard-Wagner-Platz / Top 12
Great place, very clean and very well equipped. You can get everywhere quickly, a tram stop is a 3-minute walk away, and the hostess was always easily accessible!

Urban delight
Lovely place and perfect location, would definitely come back!

Sunny small appartment "Carpe Diem"
Communications with Anna always let me feel pleasant and cared. We found the apartment with a designated parking lot was really cool since we had luggages. And I think it was perfect for a couple to stay for days or weeks.

Room with a view near the center
I appreciate the to-the point explanation about how to use the room and its facility and also the quick responses from the host and furthermore its nice location as to U-Bahn and tram , which bring me to the central area quite smoothly. If I have a chance to visit Vienna again, I definitely book Judith's apartment.

Spacious, Quiet & Clean Apartment Vienna City
Very good communication with Happy, I was greeted in person in a pleasant way despite arriving at 9.30 p.m., the check-in and check-out instructions were clear. The host has good advice and can be reached throughout the stay if needed. Access is easy thanks to public transport in particular. For my part I came by train from the airport, I arrived at Handelski station and I only had to walk 5 minutes. Note the presence of many useful restaurants between the station and the accommodation. The apartment is as described in every way, it appears to have been recently refurbished, it is large and comfortable. You will find everything you need inside for a pleasant stay. I would highly recommend it!

Apartment with patio and roof-decks
Communication was super nice and every question was answered quickly. Good tips on activities, parking, restaurant etc. - top marks! The apartment is furnished with everything necessary, well located, though not very quiet. I had expected a little more from the roof terrace, but you could have had a beer there if the weather had been right. All in all highly recommended!

Excellent host! Lovely place for our large and multigenerational group!

TOP view Penthouse w/ rooftop pool & free parking
Absolutely incredible apartment that truly felt like a home away from home. It is impeccably furnished and has everything you need for a long-term stay in Vienna. Fabian and his co-hosts were wonderful and really showcased Viennese hospitality at its finest. I would absolutely stay in the apartment again and cannot recommend it highly enough for people visiting the city.

VIENNA WEST HILLS APARTMENT & POOL
Daniel’s family were helpful and very quick to respond to our queries and issues. We had a very comfortable stay and would hopefully rent their apartment again if we ever do travel to Vienna again. It maybe a little far from the city centre but the views and comfort are worth it.

Modern condo & rooftop pool & free garage & no tax
The time in Andie's apartment was beautiful again. She is a very friendly, warm and committed host. We were very comfortable and in good hands. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. From the balcony you have a magnificent view over the whole city. We will be happy to come back :-)

Amazing view, 10 min. to St. Stephen's Cathedral
A great apartment with splendid view and good transport links. We felt very comfortable as a family of 5. The hostess is extremely friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness was not optimal in detail, which was probably due to special circumstances and was quickly and easily taken care of by Bettina. We will be happy to come back.

POOL+JACUZZI+STEAMBATH+SAUNA! Only 4 ur relaxation
Very nice wellness apartment above the rooftops of Vienna's Josefstadt. Tram right outside the front door and within a 5-minute walk of all the important shops are within a 5-minute walk. The apartment does not look directly at Josefstädter Strasse, so the apartment and large roof terrace are wonderfully quiet. We will be happy to come back.

We have been very well at Eveline's house. Pretty space well decorated and very clean, with a nice flowery garden. Well connected to Wien center by bus and then train. We highly recommend it

Viviane Paulos Apartments am Wienerberg #1 - NEU!
The apartment is really great. It has everything you could possibly need. We didn't lack anything. You have a lot of storage space and the apartment is larger than it looks in the photos. The location is also great and you have good connections by bus and train. We felt very comfortable. I'd love to come back :)

Spacious private accommodation - Smart Home
We stayed for 4 nights. The apartment has far exceeded expectations, very nice places and equipped with everything you need. The parking spot was always available. In all the premises, the cleanliness was impeccable. Also, Angela was very helpful and friendly! I highly recommend it!!

Villa for You! Superb Residential Area
Klaudia is an incredibly friendly and amiable host. The house is located at the outskirts of the city in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. You will have to walk 10-15 mins to get to nearby public transportation, restaurants, or supermarkets. Uber is a cheap alternative though. We enjoyed the house and the beautiful decorations a lot. There are three toilets in total so no worries about fighting for the bathrooms. Sound proof is honestly not great but understandable. The only two issues we had might be that the hot water from first floors shower is hard to adjust and maintain and that wifi is very slow but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed everything. There is even an nespresso machine! Would recommend for a getaway!

Your guide to Vienna
All About Vienna
A city brimming with culture and history, Vienna is home to stately buildings, beautiful gardens, and more than 100 museums, with classical music at its heart. Austria’s capital gave birth to the world’s greatest composers, and today the Viennese Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphonic Orchestra are among the most famous musical ensembles that call this city home. The city stages more than 15,000 musical events every year, with concerts and operas to enjoy almost every day of the week.
The city’s most impressive buildings include Schönbrunn Palace, the lavish former royal residence; Hofburg Palace, the largest palace complex in the world; and the opulent St. Stephen’s Cathedral. At the Kunsthistorisches Museum, you can see the world’s richest coin collection, while the Leopold Museum is Vienna’s finest art museum, and the MUMOK offers one of Europe’s most extensive contemporary art collections.
Along with music and culture, drinking good coffee in a traditional coffee house is an important part of everyday life in Vienna. Local favorites include a Wiener Melange (similar to a cappuccino) or a Mozart Café — a double espresso with whipped cream and sherry brandy. The Viennese believe that coffee is best enjoyed with a pastry, like an apple strudel, a Sacher torte (a Viennese chocolate cake), or a Kaiserschmarrn (a fluffy shredded pancake).
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Vienna
Summer is a great time to secure a vacation rental in Vienna when the days are warm and sunny and the nights are mild, perfect for enjoying outdoor dining at the city’s many restaurants and cafes. The main square in front of the Rathaus turns into a gourmet street food market and outdoor cinema with events all summer long. The weather is still generally pleasant in fall, and the changing colors in the Schönbrunn Gardens are spectacular.
The Wiesn — Vienna’s Oktoberfest — kicks off in late September with plenty of events around town. The weather can be changeable in spring, with cool, rainy days mixed with sunny spells. Vienna is a magical place to be in winter, with snow on the ground, beautifully decorated streets, and traditional Christmas markets, which have been held in the city since the 17th century. There’s also the popular outdoor ice-skating rink and the city’s famous New Year’s Eve ball. It can get very cold, though, so make sure you bring plenty of layers.
Top things to do in Vienna
Schönbrunn Palace
This former royal summer residence is a UNESCO World Heritage site of cultural importance. Dating back to the 17th century, it boasts an extravagant 1,441 rooms, and a tour inside allows you to visit 45 lavishly furnished interiors befitting Austrian royalty. Outside, the sprawling palace grounds offer beautiful gardens with rows of flowers, a hedge maze, and the Neptune Fountain. The Gloriette, which is situated high above, offers amazing views of the entire palace complex and beyond.
St. Stephen’s Cathedral
Built in the 12th century, this immense Gothic Cathedral is the most important church in Austria. The impressive baroque interior houses many treasures, including priceless jewels and holy books, as well as the tombs of Viennese luminaries. When inside, look up and notice the intricately patterned main roof with hundreds of colored tiles. You can climb the 343 steps to the top of its tower, where you’ll be rewarded with amazing views of the city.
Wurstelprater
A visit to this historic amusement park is free, and here you can ride its iconic landmark — the 213-foot-high Wiener Riesenrad — one of the oldest Ferris wheels in the world, for a fee. You’ll enjoy beautiful views of the city and the River Danube as you reach the top, with many other rides, games, and attractions, including a waxworks display. There are also food stalls and a famous traditional Viennese restaurant that’s known for its pork knuckles.
