When I got to know that I messed up with my flight schedule and need to spend a night at Chicago, I was freaked out. Fortunately enough, however, I found this cozy place near the airport and with a good affordable price. When I arrived, it was already late night. Angel is very warm and kindhearted. She walked me to my room and lifted my heavy suitcase because she noticed that I look exhausted. The room is very tidy and clean. The community is a nice, quiet, safe yet very convenient environment as it was described.

Luis is very welcoming to us and helpful with the information. The house is near to the airport which is very important for our friend who needs to take an early flight. The house is clean, comfy and feels like home.

Last minute decision. I'm so glad this place was available. The price was great and had everything we needed. Luis is more strict in what he requires of guests, which is actually a great thing because it doesn't make sense to have any ol body in your home. I noticed that Luis opted through Airbnb to charge a deposit (should a guest damage the place). Again, I understand this, but what concerned me is that the deposit would be charged AFTER we have checked out, so if he wanted to claim any damages, how would I prove I didn't do anything? I shared this same concern with Luis, who assured me that things would be fine. I took the chance and booked. Communication was very good. Luis messaged me with all of the directions and kindly addressed my concerns. We arrived to the condo and got our keys with no problem. We go into the place to check it out...Good. I put the keys down to go out and get our luggage.... I've locked myself out of the condo! A nice neighbor buzzes me in through the exterior door, but I locked myself out of the condo itself because I pushed a button that locks the door from the inside (think of a restroom stall door). So, thank God I had my cell phone in hand and quickly messaged Luis. Now, he could've been a jerk about it, but he was far from it. He said it would take 1.5 hours to get me back in, but it was more like 45 min. So, I got to meet him, which was cool; he took care of me and went on about his way. About the place: great! What you see in the pics is what you get. My only suggestion is the front bedroom could use a fan because my son said it got very hot in there. During our stay, Luis checked on us, which was nice. Oh, there are signs all around and on the outside of the condo building that say 'Permit Parking Only.' So I asked Luis about this and he said permits are no longer required. Which must've been true because my car was just fine the entire weekend. So I suggest to the condo people to take those signs down because it can make guests uneasy for a moment. Will I stay here again? Absolutely! Easy access to public transportation and the planes flying over from O'Hare were not bad at all!

For the location and benefit of two separate rooms in one apt., kitchen and common living room for the price of one hotel night stay, it's a good choice.

It's far away from the airport but near at the airport.

Place was okay. It was clean for the most part, but it is a basement unit so it was a little musty. He did have a dehumidifier though. For the price, it got the job done. When we were checking in, a neighbor approached us and asked how we found out about the unit. When we told him we were renting through AirBnb he said that they were not allowed to be doing that. It was a little offputting and we tried to keep to ourselves the rest of our stay. We contacted Luis, who responded quickly, and said that was not the case. Overall I'd probably just spend a little extra money to get a nicer place next time.

Maggie and her husband we prompt, pleasant and available with communicating, from booking all the way through check out. The house was so convenient to the airport and major highways. We enjoyed our walk in the residential neighborhood in the evening and felt safe. House had the basics, as a place to come back to after a day of sightseeing.

Clean, roomy, very safe neighborhood, 5 minutes to O'Hare. Kitchen could be more amply stocked with dishes/cups. Setting a table for 6 was a challenge. I was dissapointed that owner charged me additional $ on the morning of checkout: "rescheduling fee for cleaning service d/t late checkout" I had arranged in advance my checkout time, and was told the cleaning was rescheduled prior to check in, no problem. To get a last-minute charge outside of a prior arrangement made me angry. ('twas only $20, and I paid it, because I didn't want to deal with back and forth texts w owner) Too bad the violation of the agreed arrangement spoiled the stay. I would warn any future guests to get something in writing that the charges are set. Otherwise a nice place, well kept and comfortable.

A good location and a great value

The studio was beautiful. The complex had everything we needed! Very close to restaurants!

This location is located conveniently near the O'Hare airport but also conveniently just off if I-90 if you're driving into to town on your own. The neighborhood is nice and quiet at night, so being on the balcony is very peaceful. There is parking available for you on premises in any space that doesn't have gold lettering, and these free spaces are quite numerous. The room is very clean, cozy and beautifully furnished. The neighbors I never heard a peep from. The lovely balcony has a beautiful view of downtown and its chairs are very comfy (I nearly fell asleep out there and wasn't even mad). The host took her time to give a tour of the building and all of its amenities. If I ever come back to Chicago I will be trying to stay here again.

Claudia and her place are amazing! I do a lot of AirBNBs (about 10x per year) but this is the first time I made a friend out of my host! She was so accommodating and her place was perfect. We even went out to a movie together (my idea). She didn't push into my personal/private space at all, i just genuinely enjoyed talking with her. The bed was insanely comfortable and I made use of the jet bath tub after a long day of tradeshow(ing). Staying with her again on future trips for sure! you won't regret choosing Claudia's listing!

Gorgeous house that had everything we needed for our short stay. Angel was very quick to respond to any and all questions, the house was gorgeous, in a safe neighborhood and 5 minutes from the airport. My only recommendation would be is if you bring food (they have a mini fridge and microwave upstairs) is to bring utensils :). Highly recommend.

It's amazing place with such good, friendly and responsive people. Everything is clean, the room looking like hotel. You will have big, comfortable bed, tv, table and even fridge everything for comfortable and they will give clean towels ,clean bedsheets , shampoo, water. Most importantly, they try to make your staying as convenient as possible.

Doug is a very nice guy. His house is beautiful. It is very close to the airport and 10 minutes walk to step 2 CS exam center. I would recommend people who will take step 2 CS to stay here. It is worth the price you pay.

We planned to arrive by 8:30 pm, due to rain we were behind. We contacted Brock and he was very understanding. he waited up for us to arrive at 11 pm. He greeted us at the door, showed us to our room, which was just as the photos showed. He showed us the bathroom, gave us with five info, offered us filtered.water (said the water doesn't taste good). The bed was comfortable, we had a good night sleep and left first thing in the morning for the airport. We will plan another stay when in Chicago.

My son and I needed a place to stay when attending a concert at Rosemont's Allstate Arena and Brock and Andrea's place could not have been more perfect. They were incredibly welcoming, the house is absolutely lovely and clean and updated in a neighborhood that feels very safe. Just a short walk down the block are food options and a gas station for anything you'd need. Parking on the street right in front of the house is free. Our short Uber and Lyft rides to/from the arena were $5-6 each and so easy. Our room was very comfy, we had lots of privacy if we wanted it, including the whole basement rec room, where my 14 year old son was happy to play videogames on a gigantic screen. Brock and Andrea did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant and easy as possible and we would highly recommend their beautiful home.

Brock's house was great and both him and Andrea were so hospitable. They were out of town when we arrived but communicated everything to us in a timely manner and made sure we were squared away. Although, I was at a conference most of the time both my husband and baby were there and loved the downstairs basement with the nice entertainment set. Unfortunately we didn't spend much time outside but there is outside furniture that looks pretty awesome with a fire pit! All in all our stay was great! Thanks Brock and Andrea!

On a Friday night, my 13 year old daughter and I arrived to Brock and Andrea's home. We had just attended a concert which ended at 11:30pm. Brock was kind enough to stay up and greet us. We immediately felt welcomed and Brock showed us the house, basement and our room +. We chose Brock's and Andrea's home because of it's location from Rosemont Theatre, only 10 minutes away, and the cleanliness of the home. We all awoke Saturday morning and Brock politely offered me a hot cup of coffee. Both Brock and Andrea made us feel right at home and we conversed for a while prior to my girl-friend's arrival. Brock was very helpful in choosing restaurants and even car buying ideas. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and windows can be propped open; this was great because I love sleeping in a cool room. The full sized day bed was comfortable, My daughter said the twin size trundle bed was also comfortable. The house and room are exactly as described. Actually, even nicer than the pictures. The neighborhood is very safe. There is ample street parking as homeowners have their own driveways. The house is close to a 294 exit and entrance. It is also close to restaurants. My daughter said Brock and Andrea were nice, as was the room. We highly recommend this home and would definitely return.

Brock and Andrea were awesome hosts. They welcomed us on arrival, were interesting to talk with, and gave us suggestions of where to eat. The house was spotlessly clean and the bedroom, bathroom, and downstairs living are as pictured and comfy. We were tired and after dinner stayed in to watch a movie, which Brock had Amazon and Netflix movies to choose from and a huge TV to watch them on. The location was perfect as we had a conference nearby to attend and was in a nice residential neighborhood. It was perfect.

Brock's house is a great location only 10 minutes from O'Hare airport and the northern burbs. The downstairs setup is a great place to relax with the huge HD TV and lounging sofas. Room and bathroom on separate level from hosts. Highly recommend if you are in the Chicago area traveling!

From the beginning to end, our stay at nino's house was simply the best. We didn't get to meet ninos but our communication was very good. He responded quickly and efficiently to our emails. House is immaculately clean and neat. Check in and check out were accommodated even though we arrived late in the day and checked out very early also. House is very close to I94 for an easy trip downtown with a Walgreens around the corner.Overall A+ experience. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Nino's home for a week and it was perfect for a family of four with 2 young children ages 4 & 7. The location was very convenient. There is a Walgreens around the corner and a very large grocery store close by. Getting on and off the Kennedy expressway was just a block away which made it very easy to get downtown or out to the suburbs. Ninos was a most gracious host. He had some groceries stocked in the fridge so we could have breakfast in the morning after our late arrival the night before. He was great at communication and I could always reach him by text or phone if I needed him. He even gave us some delicious pastries from a bakery down the street as a parting gift. Thank you Ninos! I would definitely stay there again.

The owner went out of his way to be sure our stay went smooth over the holidays. Home was immaculate and nicely furnished. Everything needed for a good stay. Great shower, good towels, pillows, as well as some removal , and a welcome gift were among the little things make a stay extra special.

Jennifer's place was a quick Uber ride from the airport, in a fairly quiet neighborhood full of residential houses and apartments, and walking distance to the grocery store. Accommodations were adequate and my only downfall was having dog hair on my items after I left, but it was not excessive or a major problem. Over all my stay there was positive.

I had a brief but great stay with Jennifer on my way back to LA via O'Hare (conveniently located). Jennifer responded very quickly to my questions and was very welcoming when I arrived. The room is in a flat on the first floor of a wonderful house, with nice common space that I unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy (living room and kitchen, including snacks, coffee/tea, light breakfast foods). Great price too. Definitely recommend!

Tom was very helpful in the face of the differences between our schedule and his own. I never met him, though he and my husband crossed paths once. The king room was quite comfortable, with plenty of closet space to unpack. Note that the lodging details in the listing (e.g. number of beds, bathrooms) can be a little confusing. There are 2 1/2 baths in the entire house -- however, the Airbnb occupants of the three available bedrooms all share a common full bath on the 2nd floor. (There is also access to the 1/2 bath on the main floor.) I didn't realize the implications, so I left my phone to charge in the bathroom overnight, which caused a bit of an awkward moment the next morning with another lodger, but it all worked out. Other details: The dog is friendly (not a leaper), well-behaved, and absolutely silent (such a miracle!). The listing doesn't mention that the house is right next to the Metra Line track, but we got used to the sound of passing trains and didn't find it at all hard to sleep. All in all, a good place in our experience.

No misleads here. Everything in the description is 100% accurate. Grace was very polite and available for every need. The location is so sweet. It's 15 min from the mall walking distance, not to mention the bus stop is right on the corner, no need for a rental, plenty of places to eat, lots of bars and grills if you don't want to go far. What a great experience! Grace was there to meet us and the apartment was spotlessly clean. The bedding looked new, the bed was comfortable, shower was great, the refrigerator was stocked, and everything was as described. If we are passing through the area again we would be more than happy to stop and stay here with Grace again.

Mrs. Grace was wonderful. The place was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Mrs. Grace was extremely Sweet and helpful. The polish bar around the corner was excellent. I highly recommend the goulosh if your hungry when you arrive.

Great place to stay in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. Location is good too, 20 minute walk to the Metra for access to downtown and plenty of shops within walking distance too, even quicker driving. Communication with Dorota was superb, literally replying in minutes. Check in is effortless with the lock box and the bed is so comfy! Such a great place to stay, will definitely be using again.

Great location near O'Hare Airport!

I had a very pleasant stay in Des Plaines. The apartment is very cosy and well equipped. It was walkable to the Metra and downtown area. The neighborhood was quiet and residential. The hosts noted that there was a TV, but no TV service, which wasn't an issue. They have an HDMI cable hooked to the tv if you want to stream Netflix or other platforms. Thanks very much!

Sal is amazing! I stayed at his place with my family while we were in between houses. Sal was very flexible and courteous. I highly recommend staying here if you are either passing through or need temporary housing. You won't be disappointed!

Place you don't want to miss!

Great small two-bedroom, "authentic" Chicago, traditional neighborhood house. Nice living room with large TV and comfortable couches, two soft queen beds and walking distance from several fancy restaurants, strip malls and a large supermarket. It's about 7 minutes from Marriott O'hare airport and about 45 minutes from MDW airport and 45 minutes from downtown, depending on traffic. Traffic in Chicago from my experience, has two levels, bad, and worse no matter the time of day. The train and bus in our experience weren't faster than Uber or Lyft. Lyft was about $26 plus tip to get to town. Sal is great and super attentive to your needs. The door knob with a code to come and go as you please is the best arrangement I have found in airbnb yet. It worked perfectly.

Sal was able to accommodateus with a check in time that was suoted to our needs. He greeted us all very nicely and with a welcoming attitude and smile! His house is close to bakery and restaurants at walking distance. It's about 25 minutes to boystown and same to downtown. It was close and perfect to the Festival Cubano we went to. His communication was absolutely amazing! He asked us daily how was everything and if we needed anything. This was an awesome experience! Thanks Sal! :-)

Excellent room for when you need to take an early flight from O'Hare (just 7 min from airport). It's clean, very comfortable, great bathroom (attached) and the house is very interesting and unique.

Joe is the best! He makes you feel like you're part of the family! If you're in the Chicago area, his place is a must! Joe is very hospitable!

Our experience at Joswe's Airbnb was awesome!! Joswe was the perfect host and had everything all ready for us when we arrived, including some appetizers & fresh homemade lemonade! The room is beautiful, & looks exactly as pictured, and we loved our private bathroom and balcony. The house looks like a castle, and it was so immaculately clean and quiet. Joswe was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat in the area, and even offered to give us a ride if we needed. We were about 30-40 minutes outside of the city, but the Park & Ride subway is only a few miles away, right near O'Hare airport. Joswe had the perfect balance between giving us our privacy, yet keeping the offer open if we needed anything. One night, we were returning from a long day of touring the city & he was having a BBQ, and offered to feed us dinner!! It was amazing staying at his place, and we will definitely recommend his house to anyone who is traveling to Chicago. The room feels spacious with its high ceiling and French window that looks down a quiet street to the school sports field. It has lots of little comforts, drinks, snacks, microwave, fridge, choice of shampoos etc. I was overwhelmed by Joswe's generous hospitality from fetching me from the airport to the lovely breakfast and the chats over a cup of tea or coffee. Will come back on my next trip.

I ended up extending my stay At Joswe's place because it was so comfortable and inviting that I didn't want to chance staying somewhere else. I can't say enough about his kindness and attention to the small details that make your stay so much better than what you could imagine. He goes above and beyond. There is parking, plenty of coffee and refreshments, and all the comfort and privacy you desire! I will continue to stay here whenever I'm in town!

My friends and I are college students who came to Chicago for a concert, and I'm so glad we chose to stay here. Joswe's home was beautiful and he is a great host! He was very easy to communicate with and even drove us places. He really makes you feel comfortable in his home and offered breakfast in the morning. I would totally recommended staying here!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would, it's simply amazing. Why? It's all because of Joswe, he's what completes the experience at this lovely home. The master bedroom was so cool, not to mention it has a secret room in the tower, enough to fit two people in addition to the two people that could fit in the queen-sized bed. The room is spacious and has everything you need, including snacks. I know our host didn't have to, but he made us breakfast and engaged in the most interesting conversation. There's no need to be shy about asking for anything or staying in the common spaces, if you do, I promise you you'll have a great time with Joswe if he's free. I plan on coming back for sure!

Silvia and her husband have a beautiful spacious house and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Check in, check out both extremely easy. Room was huge and comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I stayed one night before taking the USMLE at the nearby testing center and Silvia and her husband were great hosts. They provided tea, coffee, and fruit during my stay and the accommodations were very comfortable. No issues with wifi and the noise was minimal (except for some kitchen noise but that is to be expected). I would highly recommend staying with them. They were also knowledgeable about the Chicago area and I'm sure would provide useful info if you were in town to visit.

Silva and her husband were great hosts! They were able to give me a ride from the blue line to their lovely home which is situated in a very quiet neighborhood.

Silvia was a wonderful hostess. She picked me up at the train station and made me feel at home from the very first moment. The house and the room is large and airy. Mr prince charming (the poodle) tried his best to be tough but is a very nice little dog. Thank you Silvia!

I so enjoyed my few days with Silvia and her husband (and their adorable puppy, Marlo!). They made me feel very welcomed and Silvia was very generous with her time to help me understand Chicago better. Their home is beautiful and was a wonderful alternative to a hotel. They are located very close to a grocery store and fitness center (which I used every day). I would definitely stay there again on future visits.

Amazing home, very spacious, quiet neighborhood, highly recommended

RAUL We rented the entire home from Raul. Raul was very helpful coordinating the key pickup, and even left us some food (we were arriving very late). NEIGHBORHOOD The house was in a safe neighborhood, close to the airport. There is not much activity or options for food in Des Plaines. HOUSE The furniture and beds do merit the $500/pm pricing, but the house was clean and there are ample sheets and space for everyone.

Raul is the host , he is very friendly and patiently. He waited for our coming and told me how to connect the Internet .his home is very beautiful and comfortable.we everyone enjoyed it.

We didn't get to meet Raul but we talked to him, and he made our arrival very easy. The house was perfect for 7 adults. We each had a place/room to sleep. There were plenty of sheets, towels, blankets. Kitchen was well equipped (though we didn't actually eat there much). Restaurants and coffee were easily within walking distance. Nice quiet neighborhood. Raul was very responsive when we had difficulty getting the furnace to go on; he got it fixed quickly. Great location, close to O'Hare and other places we had to go.

Like staying at a family members home. Nice home that allowed us to prestage for family wedding. Much more spacious than anticipated. Good location for our needs.
