Had a great time! Very cool neighborhood with lots of "city stairs" nearby and a very nice view of the city. Penn brewery nearby is a great place to eat. $7.30 Uber ride to downtown or a pleasant walk along the river (~35min)

Johns olace is great for I needed it to be. A room for a night and nothing more. Slept great, showered then next morning and was out the door with no complications.

John is a great host! Very fast communication, and set us very nicely! In the heart of troy Hill and close to everything the space is a perfect find for any type of traveler! The room was spacious and the bed was big and comfy! The water that was in the refrigerator was clutch! Will be back for sure!

The room was comfortable and just as described! Parking was easy and the city is right at your doorstep. John made check in and finding the house very easy as well!

John made it super straightforward for check-in and the duration of our stay. It is a very solid value for the price point, especially given the extra bits of hospitality he throws on top!

Very considerate host, had no issues, plenty street parking available. It's on a hill though. Very close to bars and restaurants.

If you go to Pittsburgh and you don't book this place, you're doing it wrong. It was absolutely by far the best airbnb experience ever.

The host is one of the nicest guy you will ever meet. The place is clean and about 15 mins away from downtown. Will definitely recommend this place for any duration of stay...long or short!!

Myra's place was lovely ! If you are in Pittsburgh and need a basic, no frills place to rest your head this is a great option. Myra's communication was super transparent and she herself helped with check-in and letting us know any important information. Parking was easy in the area, and it was relatively close to many different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. If you're a walker, great option as you can walk to the market/main square as well -- if not, easy Uber drive to wherever you need to get.

This location is great as it is very easy to get around to all the city has to offer, and Myra was a great host, offering us all the help we needed with checking in, parking and even ironing our clothes. The apartment itself offers all the basic amenities one needs when visiting for a few days.

Great location--very close to the PPG Arena. Clean and has the basic amenities you need to stay. If you're just looking for a place to crash, this is a great place!

The apartment was super close to PPG paints arena, plenty of space and an actual hairdryer (which is strangely rare in many places we've stayed). The shower stall is a bit narrow, but the water was still hot for both of us to shower. So much to do in the city that you don't even miss a TV. Myra is a wonderful host and we would definitely stay here again.

I was traveling to Pittsburgh for a conference downtown, but didn't want to stay downtown. This is about a 30 minute walk, leisurely to market square. Myra was fantastic in communication and check in leading up to our visit. The accommodations are very clean and simple. The queen bed was extremely comfortable. Do wear earplugs at night because it's located on a city street and earplugs work wonders!

Location location location. We stay to attend penguin hockey games. Myra is a great host and the room clean. Will always stay here to attend events. You can even walk to Duquesne university or other events downtown.

Everything was great! We felt right at home and were very impressed with the accommodations. There was even a little bucket of toys for our two-year-old. =)

I love this place. It so comfortable and can fit to quite a number of people. Plus,it is quite near to the downtown.

Had a fantastic weekend stay at Barbara's! Everything was as described. Check-in/out was a breeze and the place was very neat and tidy; very private too. Will definitely stay again next time we're in Pittsburgh!

The rental space was great. There was plenty of room. One of the hosts dropped in to say hi and recommended a place for eating. The location was nice, near down town. Can't speak for public transit, as we used uber/lyft. Everything that was needed was there, the pictures and description are all accurate. Would definitely stay here again.

The accommodations are pictured precisely as advertised. The bathroom, bed, and living area were clean and tidy for us when we arrived. Though we didn't get meet Barbara face-to-face until our departure, she was always reachable via cell and made helpful suggestions regarding places to check out during our tour through the city. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who plans to visit Pittsburgh!

My friends and I had a great time staying with Barbara. They were very prompt with their communication before we arrived and while we were there. The room was very spacious and well kept. It had everything we needed plus more. Barbara couldn't be there but her son Derek was helpful and welcoming when we first arrived. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in town!

Barbara's room was just as described, very clean, quite and super equipped, easy parking, just some 10mins from downtown Pittsburgh; highly recommend, would stay there again!

Barbara has got an amazing place on the hill which might seem like 'far' from city, but it's not. 3-4 miles away from Downtown and Mt Washington. The house was big enough for us; 4 guys and really cosy and clean. Derek took care of everything so well and was really hospitable. There was an issue with TV but we didn't care about it, though heating had, which was quickly resolved by Derek, as heating is controlled from inside the house. I really liked the location of the house and it's proximity to West End Overlook. I would love to stay here again!

Amy was a great host! I would welcome the opportunity to again stay here the next time I travel to Pittsburgh.

Amy was really helped us out with our near midnight arrival and let us get right to sleep after giving us the lowdown. Room was beautiful and clean with a shared bathroom. Fruit snacks, granola bars, a Keurig, and water carafe made the morning just what we needed. Went for a run in the morning, it's a cool area to explore.

Stayed at Amy's place for 3 nights and could not have been happier. Everything was exactly as described and the bed was super comfortable. I loved Amy's attention to detail and welcoming personality. Her spot is very well located. We walked everywhere and rarely took the car. I was afraid that we may not find parking but never had a problem. Next time I'm in Pittsburgh I'll definitely look to stay with Amy again.

The location was well with walking distance to great restaurants (Primanti's) and about a 30 minute walk to downtown. Area was quite. Parking in the alley was tight but free. Amy was very hospitable and the room was very spacious.

Amy's place is great! She gave lots of details in our communications ahead of time, so it was easy to find the place and check in. I didn't get to meet Amy personally but her roommate was friendly and helpful! The bed was comfy, the room was spacious and tidy, and having the coffee maker and granola bars in the morning was wonderful. I was a little worried about sharing a bathroom door with the other room but there are locks on the inside and outside of each door and a fan so you know when someone's in there. It worked out just fine. P.s. Awesome location - I had fun waking around the strip and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Also heard that if you're there on a Saturday there's a big street market scene!

Judith's place is in great location where you can find all the convenience including a supermarket, banks, food places, and wine shops. A number of bus lines take you to literally anywhere in Pittsburgh. I can boil water in the kitchen which is essential to Chinese. Truly value of money. Judith is a warm person and likes to help.

Had an excellent time at Judith's place. She was extremely friendly and helpful to figure out how to visit places that i was planning to see. The room was nice, clean and large.

Despite unforseen circumstances, Judith and her husband were very responsive and accommodating. The tenants were polite, quiet, and also helpful in navigating the home when Judith and her husband were not present.

Judith is a very hospitable and caring host. Besides my tidy room, I also like her cute child and the free coffee there! Her place is in a tranquil residential area but is easily accessible by bus. There is a supermarket nearby but if you were looking for great restaurants to dine in, you would have to walk a couple of minutes to the Murray Avenue.

Alex’s place is a great deal, offering a lot of space in a new listing with easy access to Shadyside and East Liberty.

Our stay was perfectly fine for the cost. I hope that they begin to stock toilet paper and consider a mirror in the bedroom next to an outlet (there is no outlet in the bathroom for blow drying hair). The location was good- about .5-1 mile from the shops and restaurants in Shadyside. It did the trick.

Alex's apartment is a great location. It's in a safe, fun part of the city, and the provided parking is very convenient. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

A great little place in the hilly part of Pittsburgh. I was in town to catch a hockey and football game. Janet's place is a short walk to the tram/subway line that takes you to both stadiums. Great value for the money and Janet was always available to answer questions if needed. Her black cat is pretty funny and loves hanging out with humans especially in your room. Just keep headphone cables and chargers tucked away though. He likes to chew on them like yarn hah. Would definitely come back if in town again to catch more games.

I loved staying at Janet's home. It was clean, quiet and she's resident who is proud of her city. She's a most hospitable host and her cats are lovely!

I stayed with Janet for a week and a half while I was in town for work. She was good company and a great host, making suggestions tailored to my interests for what I should check out while in town. The house is lovely and I was very comfortable, both with the accommodations and with Janet. It's about a 7-minute walk downhill to the T station and a ten minute train ride downtown. I was nervous about the hilly, narrow roads, but parking is easy in front of Janet's house. I am allergic to cats, but Janet's cats did not bother me. Great stay!

We checked in very late because our flight delayed. But she understood our situation. She is very kind and nice host. The house is really clean and comfortable.

Excellent. Janet is a friendly person. She help me a lot, because I didn't understand English so much. Totally recommended . Also, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was always clean.

Janet was always accessible, helped us with whatever we asked and was happy to accommodate a late departure if we needed it. She was wonderful and brought us coffee very early on the day when we had to be out early. The room was immaculate and exactly as advertised. The location was excellent for what we wanted and was conveniently located with a car to most locations in Pittsburgh.
