Had a great time! Very cool neighborhood with lots of "city stairs" nearby and a very nice view of the city. Penn brewery nearby is a great place to eat. $7.30 Uber ride to downtown or a pleasant walk along the river (~35min)
Mark2017-04-22T00:00:00ZJohns olace is great for I needed it to be. A room for a night and nothing more. Slept great, showered then next morning and was out the door with no complications.
Michael2017-05-11T00:00:00ZJohn is a great host! Very fast communication, and set us very nicely! In the heart of troy Hill and close to everything the space is a perfect find for any type of traveler! The room was spacious and the bed was big and comfy! The water that was in the refrigerator was clutch! Will be back for sure!
Jay2017-05-03T00:00:00ZThe room was comfortable and just as described! Parking was easy and the city is right at your doorstep. John made check in and finding the house very easy as well!
Bill2017-05-12T00:00:00ZJohn made it super straightforward for check-in and the duration of our stay. It is a very solid value for the price point, especially given the extra bits of hospitality he throws on top!
Brian2017-05-14T00:00:00ZJohn was great and the room was very clean. Plenty of room for me and my friend to crash for the night. Great view of Pittsburg not too far from the place.
Katelyn2017-05-15T00:00:00ZThe accommodation and the location are good, just improve a little more the cleaning. The hosts are very nice and friendly.
Emmanuel2017-04-15T00:00:00ZHad a great time at Johns place. Great location. Room was as pics :)

Its the best place for value on air bnb. Private floor all the features u want fridge microwave keurig. Its the first place we check when we do air bnb.
Robb2017-05-01T00:00:00ZEric has such a wonderful place, and he's super hospitable and accommodating! The kitchenette is well-stocked, everything is clean and well-decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
Phoebe2017-05-16T00:00:00ZThis was my first AirBnB experience and it was really comfortable and amazing!!!! The location was very easy to find as well..and yes !!! Eric is a great host
Pooja2017-04-15T00:00:00ZThe host canceled this reservation 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Genesis2017-05-15T00:00:00ZAMAZING Eric was great. This was our first time using air BnB and we had a lot of questions, Eric was very helpful and answered all of our questions. He was really flexible and accommodating with the check in and his dogs were adorable. 5/5 would stay again
Michael 2017-04-09T00:00:00ZBright, accomplished yet unassuming, Eric is really a cool, friendly guy who just puts you at ease! The place itself was spacious and quiet, located in a safe neighborhood, that's also very close to the bus stop and the stores/ restaurants, with the upstairs reserved strictly for the guest(s), where the rooms, including the bathroom, were kept so neat and well-equipped with amenities like extra soaps, toothbrushes, toothpastes, and towels. Also, it was great that he had an assortment of beverages, including water, teas and a nice ginger ale, and snacks on hand ready for his guest in a separate kitchen-like room on the same floor. Well, Eric sure didn't miss any details that made me feel comfy and I liked the fact that he was open to having me experience something new like trying woodworking under his guidance (he's a pro). In a nutshell, I really enjoyed my stay here and so will you - From installing unique fixtures to making a fireplace and managing a lil' fun greenhouse, Eric tackles it all with his exquisite carpentry skills and tech precision (he's also a programmer). Highly Recommended!!!
J2017-03-14T00:00:00ZEric's place is amazing. You are upstairs and by yourself. It feels like you own the house. The room decor is so chill and pretty and you will feel at home at once. Eric thoughtfully provided everything I needed. I especially love his two cute dogs Parker and Frankie. I'll be back again to see them soon. And they stay out of your way if you are not a dog lover.
Nonso2017-03-22T00:00:00ZI barley got to talk with Eric, but he was super accommodating and kind! I was driving all day and went right to bed then left very early, but the room is super spacious and Eric supplied a killer book shelf!!

Chris2017-05-11T00:00:00ZIt a nice place, I loved it
Emad2017-05-13T00:00:00ZVery considerate host, had no issues, plenty street parking available. It's on a hill though. Very close to bars and restaurants.
Charan2017-05-05T00:00:00ZIf you go to Pittsburgh and you don't book this place, you're doing it wrong. It was absolutely by far the best airbnb experience ever.
David2017-05-08T00:00:00ZThe host is one of the nicest guy you will ever meet. The place is clean and about 15 mins away from downtown. Will definitely recommend this place for any duration of stay...long or short!!
Pawan2017-05-07T00:00:00ZA+ host. John communicated well with me. Stayed at John's house in Southside Slopes for 2 nights. Clean home, Private rooms with key entry, and a huge newly-built deck with a great view of downtown. I will definitely stay at John's again

good place ! and close proximity
Sabarish2017-05-14T00:00:00ZThis is the perfect place for a couple people that just need to shower and sleep. It's conveniently located right off of the highway. Everything is exactly as described and pictured. It truly seems like a dorm room or college apartment. All in all, Zach was easy to deal with, the apartment was clean, and had everything you need.

Myra's place was lovely ! If you are in Pittsburgh and need a basic, no frills place to rest your head this is a great option. Myra's communication was super transparent and she herself helped with check-in and letting us know any important information. Parking was easy in the area, and it was relatively close to many different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. If you're a walker, great option as you can walk to the market/main square as well -- if not, easy Uber drive to wherever you need to get.
Theresa2017-04-23T00:00:00ZThis location is great as it is very easy to get around to all the city has to offer, and Myra was a great host, offering us all the help we needed with checking in, parking and even ironing our clothes. The apartment itself offers all the basic amenities one needs when visiting for a few days.
Ian2017-04-30T00:00:00Znice place that is conveniently located. I'm sure it is in the listing description but there is no TV fyi. Also the room always seemed to be cold. Would stay again.
John2017-05-14T00:00:00ZGreat location--very close to the PPG Arena. Clean and has the basic amenities you need to stay. If you're just looking for a place to crash, this is a great place!
Kristina2017-05-04T00:00:00ZThe apartment was super close to PPG paints arena, plenty of space and an actual hairdryer (which is strangely rare in many places we've stayed). The shower stall is a bit narrow, but the water was still hot for both of us to shower. So much to do in the city that you don't even miss a TV. Myra is a wonderful host and we would definitely stay here again.
Terri2017-05-08T00:00:00ZI was traveling to Pittsburgh for a conference downtown, but didn't want to stay downtown. This is about a 30 minute walk, leisurely to market square. Myra was fantastic in communication and check in leading up to our visit. The accommodations are very clean and simple. The queen bed was extremely comfortable. Do wear earplugs at night because it's located on a city street and earplugs work wonders!
Kelli & Jimmy2017-05-03T00:00:00ZLocation location location. We stay to attend penguin hockey games. Myra is a great host and the room clean. Will always stay here to attend events. You can even walk to Duquesne university or other events downtown.

This is probably my 6th time staying, this is my first pick when I'm in Pittsburg, especially for class at Duquesne
Trevor2017-02-25T00:00:00ZGreat place, walking distance to Duquesne. I just booked it again for my next work trips. Thanks again, see you soon.
Trevor2016-09-24T00:00:00ZMarcos house is in uptown Pittsburgh by Duquesne university. I was able to get to a lot of museums from this location. I will definitely choose Marcos house as a place to explore Pittsburgh the next time as well. Thank you Marco and Mira!
Eugene2016-12-31T00:00:00ZGreat stay!
Matthew2016-10-31T00:00:00ZThis place was ideal for my friend & I who were in town for a hockey game. The arena was within walking distance, and everything else is a quick drive/Uber away. I would happily stay here again.
George2017-03-19T00:00:00ZClean, quiet, conveniently located. Warm and gracious host.
Karen2017-03-25T00:00:00ZWonderful little space in a very comfortable part of town.
Christopher2017-01-22T00:00:00ZMyra and Marco could not have been better hosts. This was my first time using airbnb and i was a lil worried at first but after meeting Myra I was confident the stay was going to be great. There was quick and accurate correspondence and everything was very clear. My daughter and I were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. Everything was neat and Myra was all about making our stay a great one. Myra and Marco thank you for everything.

Everything was great! We felt right at home and were very impressed with the accommodations. There was even a little bucket of toys for our two-year-old. =)
RocHostel2015-09-17T00:00:00ZI love this place. It so comfortable and can fit to quite a number of people. Plus,it is quite near to the downtown.
Maziha2016-03-06T00:00:00ZHad a fantastic weekend stay at Barbara's! Everything was as described. Check-in/out was a breeze and the place was very neat and tidy; very private too. Will definitely stay again next time we're in Pittsburgh!
Aaron2015-11-29T00:00:00ZThe rental space was great. There was plenty of room. One of the hosts dropped in to say hi and recommended a place for eating. The location was nice, near down town. Can't speak for public transit, as we used uber/lyft. Everything that was needed was there, the pictures and description are all accurate. Would definitely stay here again.
Brandon2015-12-21T00:00:00ZThe accommodations are pictured precisely as advertised. The bathroom, bed, and living area were clean and tidy for us when we arrived. Though we didn't get meet Barbara face-to-face until our departure, she was always reachable via cell and made helpful suggestions regarding places to check out during our tour through the city. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who plans to visit Pittsburgh!
Chris2015-09-27T00:00:00ZMy friends and I had a great time staying with Barbara. They were very prompt with their communication before we arrived and while we were there. The room was very spacious and well kept. It had everything we needed plus more. Barbara couldn't be there but her son Derek was helpful and welcoming when we first arrived. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in town!
Malissa2016-06-02T00:00:00ZBarbara's room was just as described, very clean, quite and super equipped, easy parking, just some 10mins from downtown Pittsburgh; highly recommend, would stay there again!
Boris & Stanka2016-10-13T00:00:00ZBarbara has got an amazing place on the hill which might seem like 'far' from city, but it's not. 3-4 miles away from Downtown and Mt Washington. The house was big enough for us; 4 guys and really cosy and clean. Derek took care of everything so well and was really hospitable. There was an issue with TV but we didn't care about it, though heating had, which was quickly resolved by Derek, as heating is controlled from inside the house. I really liked the location of the house and it's proximity to West End Overlook. I would love to stay here again!

Brendan2017-04-23T00:00:00ZCharles is an amazing host. Very helpful, accomodating and generous. He or his mother will keep checking on you in case you needed anything. I enjoyed my stay and definitely going to come back. The place is shining.. the word clean is not enough to describe it. It's super clean. Everything is brand new and at your disposal. 5 stars.. thank you for the amazing time. I got more than my money's worth.
Vazgen2016-11-05T00:00:00ZStayed 2 nights in a private room with its own entrance. Clean and comfortable, & Charles was very nice. Would gladly stay here again.
Chris2016-04-18T00:00:00ZYes
Himanshu2016-08-24T00:00:00ZFirst time in pittsburgh and I couldn't of expected anything better from both the city(except a penguins game 5 win) and from charles. Great guy and had a great family especially as previously stated his cat. Would definitely recommend as it's only a few min walk to all the action.
matthew2016-06-12T00:00:00ZCharles was a nice guy and the room was as described. Good value in a great area of Pittsburgh. Charles was really helpful in giving us directions of where to go and was really quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Pittsburgh was great and Charles' room was a great budget option for staying close to East Carson street. Thanks Charles!
Katy2016-05-24T00:00:00ZLoved our stay - very friendly hosts and cat, great location and the room was comfortable and clean. Thanks for having us!

Amy was a great host! I would welcome the opportunity to again stay here the next time I travel to Pittsburgh.
Ryan2016-10-21T00:00:00ZGreat value, no issues at all, easy in and out.
Mat2016-11-17T00:00:00ZWarm welcome, fun neighborhood!
Mary2016-10-30T00:00:00ZAmy was really helped us out with our near midnight arrival and let us get right to sleep after giving us the lowdown. Room was beautiful and clean with a shared bathroom. Fruit snacks, granola bars, a Keurig, and water carafe made the morning just what we needed. Went for a run in the morning, it's a cool area to explore.
Kelley2016-07-29T00:00:00ZStayed at Amy's place for 3 nights and could not have been happier. Everything was exactly as described and the bed was super comfortable. I loved Amy's attention to detail and welcoming personality. Her spot is very well located. We walked everywhere and rarely took the car. I was afraid that we may not find parking but never had a problem. Next time I'm in Pittsburgh I'll definitely look to stay with Amy again.
Frank2016-08-14T00:00:00ZThe location was well with walking distance to great restaurants (Primanti's) and about a 30 minute walk to downtown. Area was quite. Parking in the alley was tight but free. Amy was very hospitable and the room was very spacious.
Justin2017-01-25T00:00:00ZThanks Amy for being such a welcoming host!
Eric2016-12-09T00:00:00ZAmy's place is great! She gave lots of details in our communications ahead of time, so it was easy to find the place and check in. I didn't get to meet Amy personally but her roommate was friendly and helpful! The bed was comfy, the room was spacious and tidy, and having the coffee maker and granola bars in the morning was wonderful. I was a little worried about sharing a bathroom door with the other room but there are locks on the inside and outside of each door and a fan so you know when someone's in there. It worked out just fine. P.s. Awesome location - I had fun waking around the strip and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Also heard that if you're there on a Saturday there's a big street market scene!

Andrew is a nice host, and he will response your questions very quickly. Valued place stayed in Pittsburgh.
James2017-02-17T00:00:00ZIt was a great experience staying here! It was also a plus being right on Mt. Washington. Andrew was friendly and resourceful. The home was clean and welcoming. The downstairs suite was very nice. My only suggestion is to bring a space heater in cold months or for Andrew to purchase one for the home (though he has everything else). I was able to utilize the whole house! I could cook and even watch (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Chromecast. I couldn't have asked for a better home, host or value! ...And you are just a couple 'winding' blocks away from the best city view...amazing! Oh...parking is tough after 9pm. Might have to walk a block or so but usually a park is right in front of the house. I'll see you soon Andrew!
Josiah2017-03-08T00:00:00ZAndrew has been excellent, extremely accomodating and will go out of his way. Check in super easy, and location is super convenient! Very beautiful, clean and brand new renovated property! Certainly worth the value :)
Shalese 2017-01-27T00:00:00ZThis place was a great find! It is located just outside of the city, very clean, and Andrew was quick to answer any questions. I would recommend it!
Rachel2017-04-02T00:00:00ZOverall good stay near the Mt. Washington views and attractions. An affordable place to stay to explore Pittsburgh by foot!
Tracy2017-04-18T00:00:00ZGreat location near lots of food spots! Andrew was helpful and welcoming, place and room just as described. Cool balcony and good privacy. Would recommend to others!
Benjamin2017-05-14T00:00:00ZIt's a big, clean, and cozy house. Very convenient check-in. We live in downstairs bedroom and there is a private bathroom. Definitely recommend it!

This was my first experience with Airbnb, and it was great! Jason answered all my questions very quickly, and his home was clean, inviting and cozy. Also, I really liked being so close to a bus stop. I would love to come back if I'm ever in Pittsburgh again.
Brian2016-08-01T00:00:00ZJason is amazing and very chilled out. As he says in the description, you need something then, just ask.
Khyati2017-02-19T00:00:00ZWe stayed at Jason's for a couple of days with a another friend. Jason was very helpful during our stay and send us useful information regarding how to get there and in the house in a timely manner. The room was quite spacious with a nice desk and the bathroom was very clean as promised. We were kind of on the run all day, so we didn't have the time to use the gym or relax on the living room but they both looked pretty nice. The price was very good considering the neighborhood and the distance from downtown (around 10mins drive). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely go back again.
Dimitrios2016-09-21T00:00:00ZJason´s place is terrific. We loved it there. It is very spacious and extremely clean. The room is very comfortable and warm. We also liked the neighbourhood, with easy parking and very close to downtown Pitts. Jason was very friendly and hospitable, flexible for check in and check out. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Pittsburgh!
Maria2017-01-16T00:00:00ZFloor is little noisy. Other than that it was a nice stay. Friendly people.

A great place. I like it
Audrey2017-03-26T00:00:00ZJudith's place is in great location where you can find all the convenience including a supermarket, banks, food places, and wine shops. A number of bus lines take you to literally anywhere in Pittsburgh. I can boil water in the kitchen which is essential to Chinese. Truly value of money. Judith is a warm person and likes to help.
Tony2016-11-10T00:00:00ZQuiet and clean. Perfect for a quick stop
Andre2017-01-28T00:00:00ZHad an excellent time at Judith's place. She was extremely friendly and helpful to figure out how to visit places that i was planning to see. The room was nice, clean and large.
Mitul2016-07-06T00:00:00ZDespite unforseen circumstances, Judith and her husband were very responsive and accommodating. The tenants were polite, quiet, and also helpful in navigating the home when Judith and her husband were not present.
Sharon2016-04-01T00:00:00ZJudith is a very hospitable and caring host. Besides my tidy room, I also like her cute child and the free coffee there! Her place is in a tranquil residential area but is easily accessible by bus. There is a supermarket nearby but if you were looking for great restaurants to dine in, you would have to walk a couple of minutes to the Murray Avenue.

Peter's house is nice and clean. Definitley will stay at Peter's house next time.
Junhao2017-04-25T00:00:00ZReally great space in an area that is close to all. All being great dining, shopping and downtown Pittsburgh. Peter is a knowledgeable and accommodation host. The room is huge. It has a private bathroom in the room. Had plenty of room to set up a desk, eating area, and an entertainment area. Recommended very strongly.
Miles2017-02-18T00:00:00ZGreat stay! The room was prepped with everything you'd need for a short stay. Crouton is also a great cat!
Sam2017-03-26T00:00:00ZPeter was a great host, check-in was easy. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood on top of a hill. Pretty sparse, residential road, but very close (within 5-10 minute drive) of anything you would want to see in Pittsburgh. Lawerencville/Polish Hill are cool parts of town and cost about $7 to Uber/Lyft around.
Emily2017-04-09T00:00:00ZGreat place! Pete and Rocky are chill dudes and Crouton is a sweet cat too. The place is within easy driving distance of anywhere you'd want to go in Pittsburgh and has a nice view as well. Very clean and Pete made check-in super easy! Thank you guys!
Shannon2017-04-23T00:00:00ZGreat private room and bath. Comfy bed and all the amenities.
Christoffer2017-04-02T00:00:00ZPeter was an excellent host and the house was quite nice. Nice room, nice bed, very pretty house, good convenient location. My only issue was that there was a little smell of old cigarette smoke in the house and there were no curtains on the windows. Those were minor points though. I would certainly recommend Peter and his house to anyone visiting Pittsburgh.
Josiah2017-05-14T00:00:00ZPeter's house was a very easy drive to reach downtown Pittsburgh as well as some other cool neighborhoods. My girlfriend and I came to town to run the Pittsburgh Half-Marathon, and the room was private and quiet, which allowed for a good night's sleep. Peter did a great job welcoming us. Coffee maker in the room was an extra bonus as well. We would stay here again on another trip to Pittsburgh.

Alex’s place is a great deal, offering a lot of space in a new listing with easy access to Shadyside and East Liberty.
Antonio2017-04-24T00:00:00ZOur stay was perfectly fine for the cost. I hope that they begin to stock toilet paper and consider a mirror in the bedroom next to an outlet (there is no outlet in the bathroom for blow drying hair). The location was good- about .5-1 mile from the shops and restaurants in Shadyside. It did the trick.
Jenessa2017-05-06T00:00:00ZAlex's apartment is a great location. It's in a safe, fun part of the city, and the provided parking is very convenient. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.
Connie2017-05-14T00:00:00ZPerfect location in Shadyside, walkable, close to plenty of restaurants and shops. Great price. Clean and comfortable.
Manuela2017-05-09T00:00:00ZExactly as advertised, will return if I get the opportunity!

A great little place in the hilly part of Pittsburgh. I was in town to catch a hockey and football game. Janet's place is a short walk to the tram/subway line that takes you to both stadiums. Great value for the money and Janet was always available to answer questions if needed. Her black cat is pretty funny and loves hanging out with humans especially in your room. Just keep headphone cables and chargers tucked away though. He likes to chew on them like yarn hah. Would definitely come back if in town again to catch more games.
Yang2017-01-02T00:00:00ZI loved staying at Janet's home. It was clean, quiet and she's resident who is proud of her city. She's a most hospitable host and her cats are lovely!
Johannes2017-04-30T00:00:00ZNeat and quiet place.
Rashmi2017-03-20T00:00:00ZJanet was super nice and welcoming! The room was lovely & although I wasn't there much (I was in/out for a professional conference) it was so nice to be able to come back to a really nice place for some good rest. Thanks so much!
Ariel2016-11-13T00:00:00ZI stayed with Janet for a week and a half while I was in town for work. She was good company and a great host, making suggestions tailored to my interests for what I should check out while in town. The house is lovely and I was very comfortable, both with the accommodations and with Janet. It's about a 7-minute walk downhill to the T station and a ten minute train ride downtown. I was nervous about the hilly, narrow roads, but parking is easy in front of Janet's house. I am allergic to cats, but Janet's cats did not bother me. Great stay!
Rebecca2017-04-29T00:00:00ZWe checked in very late because our flight delayed. But she understood our situation. She is very kind and nice host. The house is really clean and comfortable.
Byoung Ik2017-03-17T00:00:00ZExcellent. Janet is a friendly person. She help me a lot, because I didn't understand English so much. Totally recommended . Also, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was always clean.
Cristian2016-12-03T00:00:00ZJanet was always accessible, helped us with whatever we asked and was happy to accommodate a late departure if we needed it. She was wonderful and brought us coffee very early on the day when we had to be out early. The room was immaculate and exactly as advertised. The location was excellent for what we wanted and was conveniently located with a car to most locations in Pittsburgh.

Great cozy spot
Peter2017-02-26T00:00:00ZApartment has everything you need and walking distance to many places. Good open communication with the host if any issues come up!
Pamela2016-12-06T00:00:00ZEntire process was super efficient. Received an email shortly after booking with code to unlock automatic door lock. The entire place was super clean when we arrived. The apartment is well-located in trendy/hipster Lawrenceville with great bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. Ryan was very easy to get in touch with and had an amazingly quick response time.
Erin2017-01-01T00:00:00ZRyan was a terrific host. Even though the apartment was a little bit difficult to locate because there are two homes with the same address located at both ends of the street; Ryan was available for us and remained on the call with us until we located the actual home. The place was the perfect location for us, and the convenience of it been close to the city made our stay memorable –Pittsburgh Little Italy
