Charming One Bedroom Apartment close to Path.

SylvainRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ruthy and Jonathan's apartment is perfectly true to the listing, it perfectly clean, it contains all the necessities for a great stay: We felt at home. For a family of 3-4 people it is ideal. Its location close to the PATH (10min walk) makes it perfect for days in Manhattan and allows you to recharge in Hoboken in a family-friendly but lively neighborhood (by many shops, shops, restaurants and bars). Ruthy was very available to answer our various questions, and was very accommodating so we could make the most of our trip. In short, everything was perfect, we will undoubtedly come back to New York and will be without any in Hoboken at Ruthy's Thanks

Suburban Peaceful Apartment

Self-check-in with code received via the app, so unfortunately I never met Dina. Unit was absolutely immaculate, with plenty of clean towels and linens, coffee, tea, and video games! There were also several TV networks/apps available. In addition, there is a nice walking trail in the nearby park, only two doors down at the dead-end of this block. Great location near parks and thriving downtown with pubs and restaurants!

The apartment met all expectations. I felt very comfortable. The bed was insanely comfortable so I could sleep very well. Of course, the way to Manhattan from Rockaway Beach is not the shortest, but I knew that in advance. Within 75 minutes I was "in the middle" of whether I went by train or boat. Supermarket and the recommended "restaurant" are also within walking distance (5 minutes). Even as a woman traveling alone, I felt safe in the area. The fact that you were on the beach within a few minutes' walk in the most beautiful weather was rounded off.

Ken's place was a block away from my brother's home. Couldn't have been more perfect. Such an easy walk to the Path Station. Felt quite safe in the area. Lots of light. The sleeper sofa has a memory foam mattress. My oldest brother, 6'6", said he slept comfortably. Great value. Already referred a friend there.

Gorgeous Brand New Condo Fully Loaded Mins to NYC

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our first time as a family taking a NYC trip. Staying right in the city was extremely expensive so we considered being on the other side of the river. It worked out well. Olga’s son Hirian helped us as Olga was in FL. Hirian could not have been more friendly and helpful. Apartment is as described and had plenty of room for all of us. The 2 bathrooms really made a difference with 3 kids and all of needing to shower after a long day in the city. Apartment is right on the bus route for the city. Hirian is always available for any questions. Only X factor is parking but there a lot close by. You just need to keep paying on the app. If you are looking for a great place to stay this is a great choice!

Cozy and Breathtaking Skyline View Condo

SeanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at The Home Away was nothing short of fantastic. On arrival, we had the pleasure of meeting Ricardo, who gave us a bunch of local recommendations as well as how to get into the city, etc. Our hosts were wonderful and really made us feel welcome as it was our first time visiting New York. The apartment itself is amazing, very clean and spacious, with some of the best views of the New York skyline you're likely to find. The area felt very peaceful and safe, far enough out of the hustle and bustle of the city while still feeling very connected to it. The location was incredibly convenient; the bus stop just outside the apartment has very frequent services that get you into Manhattan in less than 15 minutes. There is also a ferry port within walking distance that runs over to Manhattan every 20 minutes. There were plenty of shops and restaurants around the apartment, so you don't need to venture too far. Overall, our stay was 10/10 and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in NYC.

We were lucky to find Christabella’s place on very short notice. My MIL was in town since we just had a newborn, and we had to cancel a different AirBnb booking because of heating and other issues. Your guide to Manhattan

Welcome to Manhattan

The borough of Manhattan is New York City’s beating heart and most densely populated area. Each neighborhood represents a different persona from the theatrical Times Square to the buttoned-up Financial District, and historic Chinatown to artsy TriBeCa. The city has its own adventure map, whether you’re taking an elevated walk along the High Line, spiraling through The Vessel sculpture, or exploring the lakes and lawns of Central Park. The island, which is about 13.4 miles long and 2.3 miles wide (at its widest), is also one of the most navigable, with streets running east to west, avenues going north to south, and Broadway cutting across the island diagonally. The best way to experience New York City is to simply dive right into the Manhattan bustle.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Manhattan

In Manhattan, every season is the best time to be here. Springtime, while sometimes chilly and rainy, ushers in the blooming of flowers all over town and longtime traditions of the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival. Summer may be hot — and often sticky — but it’s also prime time for outdoor fun, with street fairs and festivities such as the NYC Pride March and the National Puerto Rican Day Parade.

Arts take over the parks with summer concerts and the free performances of Shakespeare in the Park. As crisper weather moves in, so does another magical time: fall in New York. The cozy atmosphere is accompanied by West Village’s Halloween Parade, the African American Day Parade, and the TCS NYC Marathon, which finishes in Central Park. The storybook spirit of the holidays kicks off the winter, anchored by the world-famous New Year’s Eve celebrations in Times Square.

Top things to do in Manhattan

Central Park

There’s a reason this 843-acre greenspace in the middle of Manhattan is such a favorite, with some essential sights — Bethesda Fountain, Belvedere Castle, and the Imagine mosaic at Strawberry Fields. Immerse yourself with the locals, whether it’s running around the reservoir, experiencing the roller discos at Skate Circle, or simply sitting and people watching.

Museums

All of Manhattan might as well double as a museum district. While there are classics —such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art (don’t miss the rooftop deck), the Guggenheim, and the American Museum of Natural History — others such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the New Museum grab headlines with their rotating exhibits. Museums without such boldface names also delight, such as The Frick Collection, The Morgan Library and Museum, and the quirky Mmuseumm. But perhaps the most essential to the history of the city is the emotional 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

The Edge

Manhattan has long been known for its skyscraper viewpoints — from the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock to One World Observatory. But newcomer the Edge takes the cake as the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, with a dramatically shaped platform jutting from the edge of the building that contains glass panels giving you a vertical view 100 floors down.
