  • I enjoyed my stay in Andrea's place. The apartment was very cute and well decorated. It was close to everything that we wanted to go to, making it easier for us. I would definitely recommend this place and will save it for future trips! Thanks Andrea :)

    Diana2016-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place was awesome! Very clean, very nice space for two people passing through! Andrea let us know the info we needed. The lockbox system was very convenient. We were able to walk about a mile to get to a brewery we wanted to try. Would definitely stay again!

  • This place was absolutely perfect. It's better in person than the pictures. Loved all the little details; Netflix's, Hulu, wet bar, La Croix, Keurig with k-cups, clean towels nicely set out, hair dryer, it's great! Perfect location, best air bnb we've had.

    Shelby2016-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place in quiet location right near downtown. Andrea was wonderful and the place was cozy and perfect for a getaway weekend.

  • Easy check in, everything we needed in a convenient location!

    Adrienne2017-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay in a convenient location! I was in town for a wedding and was able to get everywhere with a short drive or inexpensive Uber. The fridge was stocked with water and La Croix, a the keurig (and a selection of coffee) was ready to go and there was a bowl of snacks, all of which were unexpected and nice touches. Cute decor and a comfortable rental!

Stay in a bright historic room in the heart of Grand Rapids. This house was built in 1902 and is in Heritage Hill, a designated historic district. About a mile to downtown (Heartside) & Cherry Hill, and Medical Mile is even closer! Quiet street. Guests have access to living room, kitchen and dining. Pets welcome! Please note that I do own two cats, although they are not allowed in the guest room. Permit#: HOB-16-0138
Bedroom is on the second floor with two windows, so there is a lot of natural light. The bed is a full size bed. The room also has a large closet for hanging clothes and an empty dresser for storage. I have central air conditioning in the summer time and central heat in the winter. Sometimes the house is cold in the winter (old house, bad insulation), so the room also comes equipped with a space heater and and extra quilt. Also sometimes the doors stick, especially in the summer months when the wood swells. Bathroom is semi-shared; I mostly use the bathroom downstairs so the upstairs bathroom is largely for guest use only. I provide towels, but no soap or shampoo - you'll need to bring your own toiletries. Of course, if you forget something we certainly can work something out! There are two cats that live on the premises - I try very hard to keep up with the cat hair, but this is probably not a place for someone with allergies. I keep the guest room door closed to keep it as pet hair free as humanly possible. There is off street parking available and it is easy to find a place; the spots are unmetered. In the winter (Nov-Mar), opposite side snow-plowing rules apply and you'll need to move your car back and forth across the street in the evenings. Spots are ample so this is usually not a big deal - I do it every day! I do not provide breakfast, but I do provide self service tea and coffee in the kitchen. I try to be flexible with check in and check out. You can check in as late as you want and if you want to arrive early I can take your things and store them if your room isn't ready.
Heritage Hill is one of the historic districts in Grand Rapids. The houses date from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. It's a unique area and many of the houses are architecturally different from one another; there is a self-guided walking tour of the area, and we have a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright (tours Tuesday and Sunday)! I'm biased, but this is my favorite area of Grand Rapids.
  • Melissa was friendly and helpful. She promptly responded to each of our questions and gave us good pointers for our stay during ArtPrize. Great location on a quiet street in walking distance to the downtown area.

Newly renovated, private studio with full kitchen, gorgeous tile shower with granite bench, and huge smart TV! Our home is located in one of the finest, friendliest and safest downtown neighborhoods in Grand Rapids. We know almost all our neighbors on our block and many surrounding streets. The walkability to some of the highest rated restaurants/breweries and shops makes this a HOT spot in GR. Everything we love and need is within a 5 min walk. Come experience the charm of Eastown. Very close to downtown. We are here for you during your stay. If you have any special requests, we do our very best to accommodate! Every single stay includes cold beverages (usually our favorite GR beers or La Croix) upon arrival and sweet and salty snacks.
The best location! We love that absolutely everything we need and love is within a short walking distance to our home AND we have many incredible neighbors. Eastown boasts of unique and historic homes making every walk enjoyable. Within minutes we can stroll to the farmers/artisan market (Fulton Farmers Market), the best sushi (Maru), delicious breakfast joints (Marie Catribs and Wolfgangs), popular farm to table and Indian restaurants (Terra and Bombay) and excellent breweries (Vivant and Harmony). There are countless options for your palate while in Eastown. Our home is nearby a grocery store, yoga studio, coffee shops, boutiques and entertainment at Wealthy Street Theater. Downtown is a lovely walk from our home. Drive is approx 6 min. There you can visit the museums, the Van Andel, Devos Place, Civic Theater, Saint Cecilia's music hall, the Intersection, Rosa Parks, Monroe 20 Live, YMCA, and find plenty of shopping and more wonderful cuisine. Because vacation and out of town visits are all about finding awesome places to eat! There is plenty to see and enjoy in Eastown if you would rather walk to all your destinations.
  • Great place, would definitely stay again.

  • Staying at Hollie and Jonathan's was a wonderful opportunity to explore the Eastown area of Grand Rapids. Everything is within walking distance and Uber works beautifully. Hollie has a wonderful basement studio that is flooded with light all day long. The renovation they did is first class and we were able to relax after a long day in the sun.

    Michelle2017-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • You will not be disappointed very cute and comfortable! Johnathan & hollie are great host!!

    william2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay! This is a well decorated, very clean, private space. I loved the privacy and separate entrance. The studio is in a great location. We walked to several local places and downtown is literally minutes away. Hollie was great and responded quickly to anything we needed. There is so much to do in the area.

    DARLENE2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first experience with Airbnb, and my expectations were exceeded! Very clean. Very cute. Great neighborhood.

    Angela2017-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a great little place to stay, very clean and comfy. I am a woman that travels alone and I felt very safe both at Hollies house and when I walked around the charming shops in the town. Wonderful and I will stay again.

    diane2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Hollie thought of everything including coffee, creamer, snacks and toiletries. The space was immaculate. It is within walking distance to a few breweries, shops and restaurants. Hollie is also a very nice person and is easy to communicate with. I would highly reccomend if you are looking to stay in GR.

    Jenni2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • This my favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed. Hollie is the nicest host I have ever had. This is the only place in GR we would consider staying (unless she is booked ). I love the private entrance and kitchen . I can't wait to come back!

Perfect location! Only 15 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes to downtown, near many restaurants, breweries, and entertainment, and 30 minutes from Lake Michigan. Short distance to trails, lakes, and other outdoor fun. This completely remodeled home will not disappoint. Three bedroom, three bath with great living and entertaining space.
Fully remodeled home with plenty of space to enjoy your stay in Grand Rapids. Enjoy the master bedroom with large en suite, including a marble walk in shower and soaking tub. Large deck off back of house for entertaining and enjoying the outdoors. Relax downstairs with the wet bar and 55" television.
Quiet, mature neighborhood with large trees and no through traffic. Neighborhood is the most convenient location in Grand Rapids, close to major highways, airport, and all there is to do downtown.
  • This place was wonderful. By far the best place we have stayed. This was confirmed by several people who had friends rent places in the area who also said this place was a great find! We did not use the kitchen or dining areas but they were very well stocked and set up. The back patio also had a table shaded and a great seating area where we sat in the morning. The downstairs area was a great place to hang out as a group with lots of places to lounge and sleep. We had five girls getting ready for a wedding. The number of bathrooms/showers and mirrors were perfect to spread everyone out and get out the door quickly. The master suite was wonderful! It was my first time away from my newborn and the soaker tub was just what I needed. I felt like I was at a spa! If we ever come back to GR we will absolutely try to stay here and already suggested it to several people who go to the area regularly to visit family. Everything felt incredibly clean but very welcoming. It would be perfect for a large group of friends like we were or a family with lots of kids. Everything was laid out in a way that you didn’t feel like you were on top of each other but with lots of hang out areas to enjoy hanging out. It was also incredibly easy to get everywhere we wanted to go!

    Abigail2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • We were in Grand Rapids for a wedding and were looking for a relaxing place stay. This house was the perfect fit. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen was a great place to prepare breakfast and lunch. The living room and family room downstairs were ideal places to hang out. The deck was an incredible spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. Located right off of I-96 this spot had easy access to most of the north end of Grand Rapids and East Grand Rapids. This is definitely on the list for our next trip to GR.

  • Nate & Brandi were excellent hosts! They respond to questions promptly and worked with us to best meet our needs! The home is absolutely stunning! Aside from beautiful decor, the home was clean and well maintained. They offer a plentiful supply of the necessities (utensils, towels, cups, etc...). Definitely a home I’ll book again when returning to the area!

  • Barbara was an incredible host. I got stuck overnight in the Detroit airport on the way to Grand Rapids and she stayed up all night communicating with me and making sure I was safe. Her apartment is so cozy, spacious, and absolutely immaculately clean and well organized. Barbara goes above and beyond in every way to ensure the comfort of her guests!

    Galia2017-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Safe and quiet location - even better than how the pictures look. Inside is very well decorated and is one of the cleanest places we've stayed at. Barbara is very welcoming and can point out some things to do and places to be if you're new to town. Walking distance to most of the bars/restaurants in the downtown area.

    John(Zheng)2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Medical Mile Apartment in Unique Downtown Setting! This apartment was fantastic. I was in Grand Rapids for 3 days (2 nights) on a short vacation stay. Barbara met me when I arrived and gave me a tour of the apartment and offered many suggestions for food establishments and places to visit. The apartment was very clean, well laid out and spacious; with a large living room, nice bedroom, bathroom with new shower (I loved it), an office (with desk, wireless printer, many brochures of local attractions and other useful information) and a very well stocked kitchen. I was very impressed with the way the kitchen was organized. Barbara has pots and pans, flatware, dishes, utensils, large refrigerator, etc. With only being there a couple of days, I didn’t take advantage of the kitchen, but anyone wanting a place to stay and do their own cooking would not find a better place. Barbara also left many snacks, bottled water and orange juice for me. Another plus is that the apartment is very close (walking distance) to downtown Grand Rapids and all it has to offer. The stay was great and I would definitely stay there again.

    Christine2017-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place in a great location! Barbara is such a lovely person! I would stay here again if ever in the area!

    Brian2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara's place was perfectly situated and extremely comfortable. Everything was provided - she even went to find me an umbrella! Barbara was extremely accommodating and understanding as my flights were cancelled and rescheduled and moved again.

    Jennifer2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara has the most well-equipped airbnb I've ever stayed in! This includes the regular amenities, but also maps and endless resources and snacks and fruit and so forth - even a washer and dryer and wireless printer for use. The place is charming, enormous, and well-located in the downtown area. Barbara herself was very friendly, responsive, communicative. I had a fantastic experience.

    Wilfred2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of the best Airbnb's I've stayed in. There's a lot of great things to say about this apartment. It was super clean, very cute, stocked full of special amenities, conveniently located and comfortable. I highly recommend Barb's place.

    Chris2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at this extremely clean and perfectly located apartment. Barb was a fantastic, communicative host and provided us with tips and suggestions for our stay. Healthy snacks and water were there for a quick morning breakfast and the location could not have been better for access to bars and restaurants a short walk away, while still providing quiet and privacy for sleeping. Bed was comfy. Pictures were 100% accurate. The off-street parking is also very nice.

  • Sherri was very sweet and kind! She gave us as much privacy but also invited us to help ourselves to whatever we needed. The place is cozy and we had access to a fireplace. The room has a private bathroom, and if we did not want to leave the house through the front door, we were able to use the backdoor through the balcony.

    Sarah2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • There are not enough stars to rate our experience! Every little detail from the carafe of lemon water, down pillows, fresh flowers, coffee press, lovely scented linens and fresh breeze through the windows. Amazing experience. I want to come back!

    Christine2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Sherri and Bob were both super friendly and helpful! There were so many amenities and personal touches that made our stay that much better, and having a bathroom connected to the bedroom was great. Loved it!!

    Brittany2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sherri and Bob's place was truly amazing! It's extremely close to East Grand Rapids/Gaslight Village but tucked away in a beautiful landscape of trees with a pond that can viewed from the room. The home is large enough that the bedroom and private bath are secluded and comfortable. There is even a continental breakfast and snack bar in the room! Sherrie and Bob are WONDERFUL host's and terrific people! Whenever I am in Grand Rapids, I will definitely book with them.

This room is one of three in a quiet, relaxing, residential home. My home is located on a cul de sac - making it desirable for folks looking for a peaceful stay. A 10 minute drive to the Gerald R. Ford Airport makes red-eye flights almost bearable.
  • Kathy was a great host! The place was easy to find and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

  • Host was very welcoming. Had some issues with a broken furnace one day and a broken bed another. I booked 5 nights but left after 3 and stayed elsewhere.

    Brian2016-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy makes everything so easy. She clearly enjoys hosting, which makes her the perfect host. Her home is clean and comfortable, and close to so many things! We would definitely stay with her again!

    Robin2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy is such a great person. She was once again very welcoming. Her house is nice, quiet, the room is very clean. It's everything I ask for and more. I suggest this to anyone looking for place to stay.

    David2017-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy was a very kind, generous, and friendly host. The house has a couple of shared living spaces, which was nice for having friends over so that we weren't bothering anyone. Luther the cat was also a favorite.I also enjoyed having a bathroom all to myself, which was an AirB&B first for me.

    Megan2016-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first airbnb experience, and I have to say the bar has been set pretty high. I was in the area for work, so I really just needed a place to sleep, shower, and eat breakfast. But Kathy was such a friendly, gracious, and welcome host, I was completely at ease here. Sleep came easy in a comfortable bed in a quiet room. I appreciated the private bathroom, the fresh coffee in the morning, and the hot tub at night. I'm also a stickler for clean, and Kathy's home is *clean* - it easily passes the "bare foot" test.

    Dan2016-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy's home is very nice and a wonderful place to stay. I would definately recommend staying here.

  • Kathy was so friendly and welcoming when we arrived, though we had a bit of confusion about how to get in the house when we got there! My fault, my phone died and I hadn't asked about a key. Otherwise, the stay was very comfortable and Kathy was very generous.

Our place is perfect for Grand Rapids visitors! Close to downtown, John Ball Zoo, Van Andel Arena, DeVos Place, Amway, Founders Brewing, 20Monroe & New Holland. Located in a charming old Polish neighborhood, our private apartment is the perfect home away from home. Comfortable bedroom, fully equipped kitchen & backyard BBQ.
  • Andy and Emily sure know how to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The space was extremely clean and very well decorated. Perfect for a weekend away or even a week trip. Although we didn't take advantage -there is a full kitchen available that is completely stocked with any necessities you may need. Love and recommend to all in the Grand Rapids area!

  • As advertised, a charming, well kept upstairs apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean. It was nice to have a coffee machine with some coffee provided as well as basic toiletries in case we had forgotten and of course, the essential wine bottle opener.

  • Loved our stay at this adorable apartment! Emily was so kind when greeting us upon our arrival, and gave us several suggestions for nearby breweries and great food. The apartment felt so cozy and had everything we needed (including an oven to heat up some late night pizza ;) ), and the bed was super comfortable- we were sad to be leaving so soon!

My place is a quirky little one bedroom apartment in an AMAZING location. The apartment is part of a beautiful historic Grand Rapids Heritage Hill home with a ton of character. You'll feel like a local living right downtown during your stay! Walking distance from anything you need, from breweries to restaurants, venues to coffee shops and much more! I also just installed an AC unit in the bedroom to keep you cool on the warmer nights :)

  • A hidden gem that's a stones throw from downtown Grand Rapids! The apartment was pretty easy to find and offered great off street parking and had easy building access. The unit itself is very clean with the basic ammenities you need. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning greatly appreciated! Simple to use amazon fire stick with Netflix and other content as well as free wifi were great bonuses as well. Check in/out was super straight forward. Kevin was also very responsive throughout the process. His extra notes about local events/ venues were a nice touch.

  • We had a wonderful weekend in Grand Rapids staying at Jill and Tim's place. It was cozy, clean, and located near so many great shops and restaurants. Only an 8 minute drive to the breweries and museums downtown! I would definitely stay here again!

    Kelly2015-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, great hosts, great value. This basement apartment is located in Jill and Tim's beautiful house in Eastown house and is walkable to many of the areas shops and restaurants. It is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay including an electric skillet to make our own breakfast a couple of mornings. Architecturally and esthetically this is one of the prettiest areas in GR. Didn't meet Jill, but it was a pleasure chatting with Tim on occasion. This will be our go to place on our next visit!

    Marguerite2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. Really its a small self-contained apartment, with everything you'd need to just live there except a stove (and I wouldn't want one...) very clean, comfortable, quiet.

  • I had another great stay with Jill and Tim. I'm looking forward to another trip to Grand Rapids soon. Thanks!

  • Tim greeted us at the door with a friendly smile and welcomed us into his cozy basement den. It was perfect for a one night stay and was close to some amazing restaurants and bars! The neighborhood felt safe.

  • Delightful hosts, perfect accommodations that are clean and have a private entrance. Nice touches include coffee basket, and light breakfast goodies! Very comfortable setting and we would definitely stay here again! MaryJo

    MaryJo2016-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • I booked Jill and Tim's place on relatively short notice and was very pleased with my stay. The location is in a part of GR called East Town, and is a pleasant walk to shops and restaurants. The accommodation was in the lower level of their older, quite stately house, and wasn't just a room, but what would commonly be referred to as an "in-law" apartment. A living area, full kitchen with dinette table and private bath was easily more space than what I expected or needed. An unexpected treat was finding coffee, filters and other condiments in the kitchen cupboards. It would be ideal for a longer stay. The separate side entrance was a breeze, and allowed for quiet, unintrusive coming and going. I arrived well after business hours, Tim welcomed me with a cordial orientation to the neighborhood and surrounding areas. Very cool neighborhood and ample parking. Staying there couldn't have been any easier.

    Alan2015-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable and east access. Nice quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of restaurants and craft breweries. Easy access to downtown. Hosts are well informed about the neighborhood and easy to communicate with. Look forward to staying again on our next visit to Grand Rapids.

Room was perfect and the price was VERY reasonable! It was my first time in the king bedroom and I liked it because I it was larger than the other rooms (I was solo before and didn't need a larger room) and it was en suite... Kathy is a great host and I will always try to stay here whenever I am in western Michigan.

  • This is the best kept secret around this area. Beautiful accommodations and neighborhood! SUPER comfy beds, living area is very nice and the bedroom suites are great! I will never stay at a hotel again in this area, nor should you. Kathy is a really great host and gave us countless tips on places to go in the area. She had beer, soda, milk, almond milk, water, lemonade, and fruit in the refrigerator. She left a baggy of ice in the freezer. There were cereal bars, cinnamon bread, muffins, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I can't say enough about Kathy and her place! Definitely don't hesitate to book this one!!!

Experience turn of the century charm in this cozy studio space. Separate from other living areas in this multi unit home, it provides complete privacy. Has attached private bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, private entrance, and sleep number bed. INCLUDES BREAKFAST. The house was featured in the annual Heritage Hill tour of historic homes in 1996, and again in 2008. Walk to popular downtown attractions in 5 to 15 minutes. License #HOB-17-0199
The studio is on the 2nd floor of a 2 story multi unit home. The studio apartment has a room containing the sleeping/living area/kitchenette, and an attached full bath. The in-room kitchenette is the kitchen referenced under amenities, and consists of a microwave, refrigerator, & tableware. The setup is similar to a hotel room, in that you enter the house via the common entryway - also used by my tenant, and go up the stairs to the studio, which is off the 2nd floor landing. There are two other apartments in the house - one occupied by my tenant, the other by me. The studio space is one of 3 units in the house, and is therefore separate and inaccessible from the 2 other units. Guests will have access to the studio and common areas of the house, which consist of the entryway, washer & dryer in basement, back deck (until 10 PM), and front porch. The room has a queen size sleep number bed that allows firmness on each side to be independently adjusted. If you've never slept on one, you are missing out! The thermostat for the heat is controlled from my apartment. I will work with you to ensure that the thermostat is set at a mutually comfortable, reasonable temperature. There is a down filled duvet, fleece sheets in the wintertime, and also an extra blanket in the room. Weather stripping was recently added to the 2 large windows to reduce drafts, and new storm windows help with this as well. Most of the heat from my unit, below, rises to the 2nd floor, so the studio typically stays fairly warm. Amenities include (in studio, unless otherwise noted) - queen size sleep number bed (either half of the bed has adjustable firmness) - refrigerator - microwave - plates, utensils, and cups - power strip with 2 usb ports - luggage rack - lighted mirror (regular & magnifying) - ceiling fan - chest of drawers (in closet in studio) - iHome clock radio with Apple connectors - Keurig coffee maker (in entryway) - Coffee, tea, hot cocoa (in entryway) - A/C unit (in room when warm out) - portable laptop desk (kept just outside room) - 2 padded chairs - portable laptop stand/desk - clothes bin (collapsible) - new LG 5G TV (as of 8/2016) - Comcast cable TV (digital starter pkg - 140 channels incl. TNT, ESPN, MTV, Bravo) Breakfast is delivered to the studio and includes the following options: - cereal or oatmeal - 2% organic milk (alternate: Flax or Coconut milk) - hard boiled organic egg(s) - juice (Naked brand varieties to choose from) The house is an 1892 American Craftsman style home, that was reborn following a tragic fire in 1994 that destroyed two-thirds of the home. Rebuilt over a two year period, by two craftsmen, who meticulously matched new woodwork to old, and crafted new crown moldings and ornate leaf designs, restoring it to its former glory. As a result of the fire, the electrical was completely updated throughout the house, so there's no more knob and tube. I also added 3 additional circuits to the room, so it is unlikely guests will trip any circuits. The house is located on a bustling (during peak travel times) 2-lane avenue, which the room overlooks. There are storm windows with screens on all windows in the room and bathroom, which helps to reduce traffic noise.
Heritage Hill is a National, State, and Local Historic District in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is one of the largest urban historic districts in the country. The district contains over 1,000 houses dating back to the19th and early 20th century, representing nearly every style of architecture. The original occupants were lumber barons, teachers, judges, and legislators, who shaped the city’s future. Today it is home to a diverse population of 4,000 households. Bordered by Crescent Street (north), Union Avenue (east), Pleasant Street (south), and Lafayette Street (west), it covers an area of about 3,500 acres. Heritage Hill was designated by the American Planning Association as one of 2012’s Great Places in America. It is a 5 minute walk to the downtown area, which hosts a diverse collection of dining establishments, bars, entertainment venues, medical institutions, universities, and retail outlets. You may want to find a spot on a bench in Rosa Parks Circle, and take in a free outdoor concert in the summer - or ice skate in the winter. Perhaps you’d like to take a stroll along the river. If you like breweries, there are numerous to choose from. These are a few of the many activities this lovely city has to offer!
  • You should know this is on a block full of historic Victorian homes, beautiful homes, and this is one of them (I believe!). Your space is private, you don't get the run of the house and to go to the kitchen, but you have your own microwave and fridge in your room. Who eats in on business travel or why traveling anyway? The hostess are very good at communicating a lot of details, so guys, bone up on reading them, the start of my stay would have been a little easier if I had done so. It's all in there in black and white. The bed is very comfortable with plenty of pillows, the bathroom is clean the towels are fresh and plush. The room is pretty large too, the closet is nice, and she gives you a simple breakfast. I'd book right away if I were you!

  • I had a lovely stay at Julianne's place. It was the perfect place! Beautiful, clean, with all the necessary essentials. Julianne is extremely kind and generous - willing and wanting to help in any way she could and answer whatever questions I had. I highly recommend her place!

    Sidney2017-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Julianne's studio! We were in town for the River Bank Run, and the studio's location was perfectly walkable to the race packet pickup and start. We were thankful for the home's off street parking, breakfast spread, cable TV, and overall cleanliness/openness. Julianne was clear in her directions and prompt in her communication.

    Elisabeth2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Julianne's studio! She offered to store our luggage as we planned to arrive early but the studio was available when we arrived, which was a bonus. The location was great and in a lovely neighbourhood. Julianne was very attentive (even providing advil when the pharmacy was closed!), and breakfast was an added touch. We would definitely recommend staying here!

    Tori2017-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • The studio was perfect for our weekend stay. The home is centrally located and beautiful. The studio itself was incredibly warm, cozy, and well-decorated. We slept well on the Sleep Number bed and enjoyed having a TV in the room. It's very centrally located - most places we went were only about 5 minutes drive away. The parking was easy and she made check-in very easy. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend this to anybody in town for a few days. Double bonus for the included breakfast - it was nice to have something to eat in the morning and not have to worry about going somewhere. Julianne was friendly and checked in with us during the say to make sure everything was going well, and was incredibly friendly.

    Anna2017-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Julianne's place is a beautiful historic home with exceptionally high quality amenities. Julianne even provided me with a light breakfast consisting of foods that were gluten free and organic. It felt like she went out of her way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend her studio bedroom with private bath.

    Carrie2017-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a comfortable place! And just minutes from a bunch of cool restaurants and bars. Definitely a great choice for staying in Grand Rapids.

    Tom2017-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed in the studio at Julianne's last week. The home is perfectly located in Heritage Hill, walking distance to many restaurants, shops and downtown GR. We loved that we could wake up everyday and walk to breakfast and walk downtown. Julianne was a perfect host. She made everything from check-in to check-out a breeze. She keeps her home very clean and well maintained. The home and neighborhood are very quiet and easy to navigate. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend Julianne's home to others.

  • Sarah and Trent are excellent hosts! Their home is beautiful and clean, and they are warm, generous, and interesting people. I would book with them anytime I'm in Grand Rapids!

    Angela2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah and Trent were very accommodating and made us feel right at home! They treated us like friends rather than strangers. Their house was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

    Jessica2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah and Trent's place is very clean and neat, just as we expected. We happened to be their second guests. We were very happy to have our private bathroom. Sarah and Trent were warm and eager to provide information we needed. Sarah even invited me to a dinner she made, only that I forgot all about it and didn't get a chance to taste her dinner. It was very nice of her! Her love for art and music made great conversations. They were very quiet, their leaving early in the morning or retreat to their bedroom on the second floor didn't wake us. Large and beautiful kitchen. The bedroom is small, but the living room, the porch room and large kitchen table are readily available to use. Very easy street parking, quiet neighborhood. We will consider their place again if we ever need a place to stay in Grand Rapids.

    Yonghui2017-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Airbnb stay and Sarah and Trent made the experience awesome. We came in ArtPrize and Sarah had great recommendations for where to go, along with places to go for good food. When we come back to Grand Rapids we would definitely stay with them. As my wife said, we came as strangers and left as friends!

  • Patrick and Ariel went above and beyond to make my trip easy. Everything was well laid out in a way that I could easily find. I appreciated the sticky notes where to find things and the welcome box with soaps and loofah. I'd happily book there again.

This private studio suite acquires the best area of our 100+ year old house. A modified parlor and sunroom with traditional glass windows overlook historic Heritage Hill. Minutes from downtown, you'll be able to experience the best of Grand Rapids!
Our private studio suite is located within what we jokingly call the "East Wing" of our 100+ year old home. It has its own front door and is locked off from the rest of the house, so you'll be able to rest at ease knowing that you won't be sharing with others. Traditional glass windows wrap around the sunroom, creating a perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and sit on the couch while the sun sets. The suite offers a full kitchen and bathroom with a queen size bed.
Our neighborhood is part of the historical Heritage Hill district of Grand Rapids. Home owners in this area go to great lengths to keep up to code to preserve the aesthetics of this old neighborhood. A half block away is the Meyer May House designed by Frank Llyod Wright and is considered Michigan's Prairie masterpiece.
  • The listing matched the description exactly! It was perfect for our quick little overnight. I would definitely rent again!

    Alessandra2016-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cody's place was great. My husband and I loved the sunroom and full kitchen, a great find for a good price and wonderful location. We loved walking to Elk Brewing and the taco place Cody recommended was superb. We had a great run in the park across the street and parking was a breeze. I was concerned about my pet allergies when I booked but the place was spotless and dog hair free- I had no problems. What a great first AirBNB experience!

    Sam2016-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our brief stay in Cody's studio - wished we could have stayed longer! The home is adorable, and has everything you could need, even for an extended stay. The neighborhood gave us easy access to downtown, and Cody thoughtfully provided an entire notebook full of recommendations and brochures for great places to check out while we were in town. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Grand Rapids!

    Madhavi2016-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay there!

    Jillian2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Cody's place is a great place to spend a weekend in Grand Rapids. The apartment is a beautiful private unit with giant windows facing the street, lined with some of GR's most historic homes. It is clean and very well decorated. Most of the breweries and restaurants are within walking distance or a short drive down the street. I would highly recommend this place!

    Sarah2015-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Cody's place was exactly what we were looking for. It was immaculate. We were in Michigan to attend a wedding near Detroit and wanted to check out Beer Town USA. Location was perfect to walk to Founders, Hop Cat & Vivant, and Uber to Perrin & Mitten. Although we did not meet Cody personally, he was immediately responsive to texts! In our rush to continue our tour of Western Michigan, we left my husband's suit for the wedding at Cody's place. Thankfully he immediately contacted us and we able to return in time from Saugatuck before we headed to the wedding!

    Rebecca2016-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • This space was amazing! Perfect for one or two people. Awesome that it had a full kitchen, though I didn't need to use it for this short stay. Cody was an awesome host - everything was just as promised and the communication was great. This neighborhood is one of my favorites in Grand Rapids, and this space perfectly encapsulated what I love about the area. I'll definitely be staying here again!

    Alex2016-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Cody's apartment was, indeed, rad. I knew from the listing it was exactly what I wanted for a surprise getaway for my boyfriend, Chris and me. The photos were spot on. Cody was super nice in responding to my initial reservation and we even chatted a bit about art and work in our exchange. The apartment was super clean, stocked with all the things we needed, treats and it was easy to get in and out of. It was the perfect amount of privacy that I look for in a place to stay. Gorgeous neighborhood. We felt very warm and safe the whole time. We didn't get a chance to meet our host, but I definitely would stay there again and try to say hi. Thanks Cody and Molly!!

This is bigger than your standard one bedroom type apartment. It is on the second floor of a cir. 1863 building a short distance from the middle of downtown Grand Rapids. Please send me a message to confirm the arrangements for groups larger than 3 guests. I can accommodate up to 8 people
The apartment has one bedroom with a queen bed and a common area with two futons. There is a full kitchen and two (half) baths. The décor is a Beer (City) Beer-cation theme, but all guests are welcome. Groups larger than 3 are coordinated with an adjacent overflow room and/or a combination of cots.
The neighborhood is mixed with student apartments, single family homes and other rentals. This is the first neighborhood adjacent to the West of Downtown Grand Rapids. This area is still well within the City limits and all the fun and (sometimes) noises that go along with that.
  • The place is well located (5 min drive from downtown GR), clean and Rich made the check in very easy for us. I would definitely recommend it.

    Maxime2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • The space was as expected and described, pretty much a crash pad. The location was convenient to get to Van Andel was only a $5 uber ride. We did try to go to the bar around the corner but we didn't want to pay the $10 cover (because a band was playing)

    Mary2015-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • The place was perfect for what we needed. We had a great weekend. Thanks Rich!

    Keelin2015-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot near downtown. Richard is easy to work with. The apartment is as advertised: economical, functional, and practical.

    Gabriel2015-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The place was exactly as described. A decent place to crash close to downtown Grand Rapids without having to break the bank. I would stay here again.

    Chin2015-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Richard was a great host -- always quick to communicate and available if we needed anything. The apartment is as described, is comfortable, and is a great place for a cheap stay that's close to downtown GR. Thanks for opening up your place to us, Richard. We'll keep you in mind for future travels!

    Chelsea2016-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Easy check-in, easy neighbourhood parking, and everything just as it was described. For three beer fans in town for a race, this was a good crash pad that allowed us to leave the car behind and stroll to and from downtown as often as we wanted.

    Rick2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as described, this is a place to crash while visiting Grand Rapids, not necessarily hang out. Located very conveniently near downtown, we brought our bikes and were able to get around without a car for the whole weekend.

Stay in the most desirable part of Grand Rapids! Some of the best restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Walk to Marie Catribs for breakfast, Rowster for a coffee, Donkey for a taco and beer and Brewery Vivant for dinner! The apartment is clean and updated. Brand New memory foam beds. Floors were just refinished and walls painted. Spacious Shower that is stocked with what you need to stay clean.
My apartment is unique because it has gorgeous old built ins and the old feel of Grand Rapids. The woodwork is pretty incredible. The bathroom was just remodeled
The East Hills Neighborhood is one of the most popular and desirable neighborhoods of Grand Rapids. You are just around the corner from Heritage Hill, The shops and restaurants on Wealthy and Cherry, and Marthas Vineyard. It centrally located and allows you access to downtown with a 1 mile walk, bus, or short uber/lyft.
  • Beautiful, incredibly clean, vintage space with character & charm within walking distance to great coffee, restaurants, and more. Incredibly quiet & restful bedrooms with super comfy temperpedic mattresses.

  • This was perfect! Close to everything! The beds were very comfortable and the space calming and relaxing! Plus nice touches like Dove chocolates and cream for coffee in the fridge! The hostess was very prompt with information and we liked having our own passcode to get in the house. We will definitely stay here again if we are in town.

  • We loved the apartment. We were in town for a wedding and it was a perfect place to stay for a family of four. Very stylish space and located in a great part of town. We had fun walking to the Cherry street area for breakfast, even in 10 degree weather! We will use Greta's place again when we scone back to Grand Rapids.

    Kim2017-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Greta's place was perfect--location, space, and host. We loved our stay, found the apartment easily accessible with plenty of parking, clean, and comfortable. The beds (one king and one queen) were especially comfortable. All of the guests continuously remarked on how well they slept. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're taking a trip to Grand Rapids, this place is the perfect home away from home.

    Emma2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • This unique, clean, cozy apartment is in a great location near all of the shops and restaurants on Cherry Street - it was just a short walk from Brewery Vivant after a dinner with friends. I agree with the other reviews about the super comfy beds! Communication with Greta was very clear and easy for a seamless but quick overnight stay.

    Colleen2016-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful spot to stay at while visiting Grand Rapids. Greta is absolutely delightful to work with and vey fast at responding to questions. The house is super clean and comfortable. We slept great as the beds were wonderful. We will definitely be returning when we visit G.R. again!

This cozy and inviting home built in 1904 is situated near Eastown and 2 miles from downtown in a walkable neighborhood. Local art and found treasures make for an inviting & soothing space.
My home is more than 100 years old; all the rooms are small with quirky shapes. It is furnished with lots of old and repurposed items giving it a creative vibe. I lean toward minimalism so it's uncluttered and yet welcoming. Furniture and art are thoughtfully arranged to create a warm and cozy space. Two friendly kitties live here and will greet you during your stay. Your bedroom is a main floor room with a queen-sized platform bed. You'll find a closet and a small chest of drawers for your belongings. The house has one bathroom located next to the bedroom. While there is no central air conditioning, a window fan is in the room if needed. A space heater is also in your closet for cool nights. I provide fresh linens during your stay. Grand Rapids City Permit #10 License Number: HOB-17-0181
My neighborhood is within walking distance of many great local eats. Fuel up with a coffee at Lightfast Coffee or enjoy lunch at the Schnitz Deli. Eat coney dogs at Yesterdogs and creole at Chez Olga. If you prefer shopping, consider Spirit Dreams in Eastown or Clothing Matters in the Cherry Diamond district- both a 10 minute walk away. If breweries are your thing, GR is the place to be! Try Harmony Brewing and their wood-fired pizza, Brewery Vivant and their duck nachos or Founders' unique sandwiches. Art Prize venues are a 10 minute drive downtown. If you want to stay in a quiet neighborhood away from city traffic and crowds, this is a perfect spot. My home is just off Fulton, so it's a straight shot downtown whether traveling by bus, bike, car or Uber.

  • We enjoyed staying with Lisa's and her 2 cats. Her home is decorated thoughtfully, very clean and the bed was super comfy. The house isn't far from Grand Rapids, so you can walk into town. There's some lovely stores around, including a farmers and art market. Lisa was very easy going and nice. She even allowed us the wash our clothes and provided a hair dryer, toothbrush and towels. We'd definitely recommend this place.

    Anne2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa's place was simply perfect. It was clean, really unique looking because of her DIY work, and so cozy. Read in her living room of you get the chance. Definitely say hi to Jake and Sasha--they were a huge part of the experience. Overall, Lisa was extremely prepared--she remembered the little things, too. She had spare toothpaste and a toothbrush, towels, water carafe with cups and menus of restaurants and such. I recommend her to anyone staying in the Grand Rapids area.

If you’re adventurous you could always take the 20 minute drive to Grand Rapids where they have just a little more to do.
  • Wonderful but too quick of a stay!!! Thank you for everything!! Great location!

  • Pam's property is truly beautiful, clean and welcoming! Situated in some peaceful woods, it has all the necessary amenities: charming berdroom where we could sleep with the window open and listen to the crickets, private bathroom, large kitchen and ample parking. Pam was really kind to let us use her bonfire and gave us lots of space in her refrigerator to put all the wonderful berries we picked in Michigan. If ever we come back to Grand Rapids, we will not consider any other Airbnb and we will stay with her again.

  • What an amazing place you have. I've never felt so away-from-home and still have that warm feeling of never leaving home. The house was clean, neat, and organized. They actually care about cleanliness and it truly shows from the moment you walk in the door. The bedroom was spectacular, especially being able to listen to the amazing wonders outside. Being only 20 minutes from Grand Rapids gives it an easy commute to the great places in the city. I was highly impressed with my stay and I definitely know where I'll be staying the next time I'm here.

    Andrew 2017-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Although the location is a ways into the woods - think: over the river and through the woods - it's still close to the city, which was just what we needed. The location is private and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay. The value of our stay for what we paid was beyond worth it. Pam, our host, was so gracious, fun to talk to, and made us feel extremely welcome. I recommend this place 150%!

We will be closing our listing for the fall/winter season on Oct 19th. Look for us to start booking for spring/summer beginning in February with a tentative opening around mid-April. Thank you to all who booked with us this year! Our listing is 17 miles north of downtown Grand Rapids and within a mile of 131 which puts you into town in 20-25 minutes. All 430' Square Ft. of this luxurious 5th wheel is your private home away from home. Setting is a very large back yard with a vintage barn.
There is a full size fridge, stove and convection microwave in the kitchen. The living room has two love seats with an ottoman and two recliners to put your feet up. There is a DVD player built-in as well as WiFi to run your devices. There are two restrooms with a shower in the master suite. In the bedroom you have the king size bed with a 1" foam pad placed underneath a two inch quilted pillow top pad for splendid comfort. It is firm but with the top being soft to give a comfy cozy feel. Many have said, "it is to comfy to want to get out of"!
GPS is not reliable to this location for some reason even though we are very close to great amenities? We will message you the directions the day of arrival but if you cannot find us please feel free to call. This is a residential neighborhood with a couple businesses close by but not excessively noisy. The backyard is a very relaxing place with a lot of cute critters and a variety of birds. Our place would be great for most any reason, but camping, and spending time relaxing is as great as any.
  • Gene and Tina were perfect hosts- they never felt like strangers! The rv was so luxurious that my husband was constantly correcting me not to call it a "camper" haha! Not a thing was out of place- everything was SPOTLESS and not only did they have basic dishes/silverware they had additional cooking-ware and utensils above and beyond what we expected. We only wished we weren't so busy on our stay that we could have spent more time "home" to enjoy the camper and the peaceful yard! Would HIGHLY recommend even if it's a bit of a drive if I am ever on the west side of the state again I will be in contact with them!!!

  • Gene and Tina are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. The RV is as described and is amazing and spotlessly clean. The area is beautiful with a short drive to Lake Michigan

  • Gene and Tina are great hosts! Their RV is really luxurious. It's equipped with almost all the things you would expect during the travel. On the day when we arrive, Gene gave a wonderful tour of the RV (in spite of our late arrival) and made sure we understood everything including safety tips. We highly recommend this place for your next stay! Shreyas

  • Although the RV was beautiful, and exactly what pictures portray, no surprise there. What was more delightful was the incredible Hosts, and their parents. My sister and I were attending a family house wedding/reception, 3 miles down the street. Off site parking was required with a shuttle service. We were able to skip the shuttle service because our wonderful host's parents agreed to drive and drop us off, really helped us save time and make it to the wedding on time. You are all so kind and wonderful to have met. Thank you, Linda

  • Gene and Tina go out of there way to make sure you feel at home in their place. We had such a fabulous time staying in the RV and loved getting to know them. It is a peaceful place that was nice to come back to relax.

Our "GR Retreat BnB" is located on the northeast side of Grand Rapids, just 3 miles from the heart of downtown. Located in a neighborhood that is within walking/biking distance or a quick Uber ride from everything our growing city has to offer. Great place to stay if you are visiting downtown Grand Rapids, Art Prize, Breweries, or students at the local universities (Grand Valley, MSU, or Kendall College).
A good size private bedroom is located on the 2nd floor, furnished with a Queen size bed, couch, dresser, nightstand, and TV. You can use Chromecast to access your Netfix/Amazon/Hulu accounts (no cable). *Please note that we have TWO bedrooms available for reservations. If you have a group of 4 or more, you can rent both bedrooms if it works on the calendar.
A few short miles from Downtown or the West side for Breweries, restaurants, ArtPrize, concerts- we have it all!
  • Shelby, Dan, and Marlo were the best hosts we could ask for. They are so welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to get back to Grand Rapids and visit them again!

  • This room was the perfect place for us to stay on our way to Traverse City. Communication with Shelby was very prompt. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Awesome bedding, so soft! Lots of street parking and a quick Uber to get downtown to restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Grand Rapids.

Designed by a retired French professor (my mother) your private bedroom suite reflects her love of all things beautiful. Think Oriental carpets and original artworks. From harried intern to world traveler, short or extended stay==this space is perfect.
Though you are renting just a bedroom suite, its situation in the 750 sq. ft. addition to the main house gives you the sense of enjoying a whole relaxing world of your own.... sunlit three-seasons porch for morning coffee or evening happy hour, spacious TV room, convenient kitchenette. The inclusion of a Euro style Water Closet in your bedroom suite which is separate from the main shower room area allows two guests to conveniently get ready for the day or evening at the same time . Even guests looking for a weekly or a one-month rental would find that the space offers all they need for living, lounging, and working.
Ottawa Hills neighborhood is an idyllic walking neighborhood. The architecture and landscaping of every house is different, and Hall Street Bakery (actually a bakery, coffee shop, eatery and libation station) is only blocks away. It is minutes from downtown, Eastown, Gaslight Village and Reeds Lake, but is green, quiet and throughly charming.
  • Micheline's place far exceeded my and my friend's expectations. All things that you could possibly need are taken care of. The space, an 'in-laws apartment,' is very spacious and welcoming with a separate entrance. Having a kitchenette with stove top, oven, microwave, and mini-fridge would make for a great longer stay too. The shower and linens were also quite luxurious. The neighborhood is very lovely with unique homes and is conveniently located on the east side of Grand Rapids. Street parking was very easy to find. Micheline also went out of her way to serve us the most delicious homemade scones and orange juice. We had a lovely chat with Micheline and Ben and are very grateful to them for opening this space. We are absolutely planning on staying with Micheline and Ben again for our next visit to Grand Rapids.

  • Impeccable attention to cleanliness and comfort. Beautifully planned space with top notch linens and towels. Highly recommend the hosts and this lovely apartment to call home for a brief stay!

  • Get host and great room!

    Alex2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • First of all, the Airbnb is gorgeous! Impeccably decorated and clean, and the bathroom felt like a spa. Downtown Grand Rapids was a mere 10 minute car ride away, and the neighborhood was quiet and historic. We loved everything about our stay, to the comfortable furnishings to the fresh scones our first morning! Hopefully we will visit Grand Rapids again soon, because we would love to stay here again.

    Sarah2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was the best Airbnb experience I have had so far! The home is absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean. Michelle is a wonderful hostess...couldn't have asked for anything more.

    tiffany2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Micheline's place is wonderful! Super comfortable, incredibly spacious, and close to Easttown, where we discovered some great restaurants and shops. Not far at all from Downtown, about a $4 Lyft ride. You cannot beat this place! Can't wait to stay again.

    Amy2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Micheline's place was terrific. Very private and very accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen well furnished. Micheline even left homemade scones and coffee from my favorite local roaster. The neighborhood is great for walking and close to downtown without being in downtown. We will definitely stay again.

    Becky2017-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Micheline and her family. It's listed as a bedroom, but what you are really getting is a private apartment complete with private bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The space is uniquely decorated, very welcoming, and by far much nicer than any hotel accommodation you would find for the price. You will be provided with your own key and have a separate entrance. It is situated in an excellent location near downtown Grand Rapids. We were within walking distance to Harmony Brewery (fantastic pizza) and otherwise Ubered to where we wanted to go. Definitely opt for the fresh, homemade scones. Delicious! Highly recommend for a quick weekend trip or would also be perfect for an extended stay.

Location, location, location. Walking distance to great shopping and restaurants, just minutes to downtown. Located in a quaint historic neighborhood. Room on ground floor with in-suite private bathroom and off street parking. HOB# 16-0162
Great location in quiet neighborhood near everything! I am a gadget nerd and so is my house. Keypad on front door so you don't have to wait for my schedule. Motion sensor lights in common areas so you don't have to search for switches. Nest thermostat and Protect to make sure you are warm and safe! Bike rental if needed. Wireless printer and work desk. I can pick up from airport or train station if my schedule allows.
Best neighborhood for an out of towner! Some of the best restaurants in the city as well as bars, boutique shopping and really, anything you could want within walking distance.
  • We had a great night, Valerie is very accommodating. En-suite bathroom and kitchen access make it a great value.

  • My fiancé and I stayed one night and were very pleased with our visit. Street parking was easy and accessible. It's a great central location, a quick walk to great coffee shops and restaurants as well as within 10 minutes of great breweries (Founders and Eastown). There is a tenant who rents the upstairs space, who was very hospitable and delightful to talk with. And the privacy of having your own room and bathroom is a good balance. But most of all, we were blown away with the thoughtful provisions, such as towels, shavers, lotions, shampoo and conditioner, even coffee-flavored popcorn from Traverse City to snack on, as well as the vintage decor. We especially loved listening to the old record player turned modern in the shared living room.

  • We had an excellent stay at Valeeies. Room was as advertised and bed was super comfortable and cosy.

  • The location was great. My drive to work was 5 minutes. Great, hospitality and communication. Her place is very unique. The privacy was great. I was able to cook before work, she had everything I needed to make a few good meals. She had all the essentials in the bathroom. Gosh, the water from the shower get nice and hot. What's needed after a long night of work work. The bedroom space is a nice size, the bed itself was very comfortable. It was a great stay. I look forward to my next stays. I hope I can book it every week when up for work.

    David2017-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so lovely! Great location near cute shops and cafe (definitely go to Squibb coffee) great vibe inside and awesome record player :) you will feel right at home!

Close to Downtown Grand Rapids and 2 miles from charming East Grand Rapids on a private 2 acre estate.. You’ll love my place because of It's proximity to fine dining, entertainment, convention center, Spectrum Health, Van Andel Arena, and Frederick Meijer Gardens. It offers a quaint feel with outdoor space and privacy. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

We a quiet peaceful location surrounded with great amenities and attractions.
  • It was very inviting to walk in and have the fireplace already burning for us when we arrived. The space is very open and inviting. We admired the large steel barn doors that close off the master bedroom. Would stay here again.

  • The guest house was very nice and cozy for me and my friends as we were in Grand Rapids for a concert! The main concern was the cleanliness of the place overall. It didn't look like it was swept, the oven was dirty and the garbage had not been taken out prior to us arriving. Other than the fact we just felt it was a little dirty, we enjoyed our stay.

    Stephanie2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Tys place is private and perfect. Has everything you would need. Ty himself is very responsive and accommodating. Would recommend and stay again.

    Becca2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place was lovely! Perfect for our needs, we only stayed one night but it was so cozy I wish I could've stayed longer! The bed in the master bedroom is huge and so comfortable, the decor is cool and very modern but with a rustic vibe to it. Check in was very easy and the fire was lit when we arrived which was lovely as it had just started to snow. I would recommend this place and would stay here again!
