In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. A friend or I will welcome you and provide you with keys and a tour of the apartment. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all! During your stay, you can always reach out if you need any assistance or if you have questions. The flat is nestled in a traffic-free street a short walk away from the very centre of the city, close to charming shops, hip bars, amazing restaurants and historical sights. Welcome to our foot on the ground in Gent. Due to the central location, this is an ideal departure point to discover the historic centre of Gent, to shop or to spoil you yourself in one of the numerous restaurants. A museum visit, theatre of the opera ? All at walking distance, but if your legs get tired after a day's walk, the tram brings you back in no time. Parking space is usually available on the street for €6 a day. Parking on Sunday is free !
