Nestled in historic Brush Park, known as Little Paris in the 19th century, this stunning loft will immerse you in the city’s past while keeping you just steps from its future. Centrally located between Downtown, Midtown and Eastern Market, you'll be in the heart of the city with amazing bars, restaurants, cafes and venues just outside your door. There are two other units on the second floor along with our "Charming 'Little Paris' Flat" on the first floor (check it out if you're looking for additional space for a group or if your dates aren't available in the Loft!): https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/23790791?s=51 The design-focused and light-filled space features an open layout and is curated with goods made by local artisans. Wake up feeling refreshed after a good night’s sleep on our Floyd Bed in the sleeping loft. Enjoy a cup of French-pressed (we’re in Little Paris after all!) Great Lakes Coffee on the rooftop deck and take in the city skyline. Netflix and chill with our 40” HDTV and Roku (Amazon Prime Video also available) or make it a game night with our assortment of board games. We’ll take care of the snacks – grab a bottle of Faygo pop from the fridge and a bag of Better Made chips. If you’re foodies like us, we highly recommend walking over to one of the city’s best restaurants, Grey Ghost, just 5 minutes from the Loft. Grab a nightcap at their sister bar, Second Best, afterwards. If you prefer cooking at home, not to worry, the kitchen includes a gas stove, stainless steel appliances, and all the cookware and utensils you’ll need during your stay. Just want to relax? Light a candle and enjoy a bath or shower with Detroit Grooming Co. products, strong water pressure, and soft fresh towels. Be a part of Motor City’s renaissance and come see the city for yourself. We think you might be surprised with what you find and fall in love with it, too. J’adore Détroit! See you soon! À bientôt! /// ALSO AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE EVENTS /// Looking for a space to get together with family for a private event? Or a spot for your photo shoot? Maybe you and your friends are looking for a place to get together before or after a sporting event or concert? Skip the hassle of traffic, congestion and parking. Book the loft for a larger group and enjoy everything the space has to offer, including the private rooftop deck. All of Detroit's professional sports facilities and event venues are just a short walk away. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow 'parties' in the Loft -- groups or events that have loud music, heavy drinking, excessive noise or causing a disruption on the property will not be allowed. This is a shared building and we need to be respectful of our neighbors. Please inquire and provide details before booking for a group of more than 4 guests. The Loft & private rooftop deck are all yours - let the adventure begin! We’ll follow your lead! We will be off-site but available for any questions or concerns. Please communicate via Airbnb messaging. Centrally located between Downtown, Midtown and Eastern Market, Brush Park has amazing bars, restaurants, cafes and entertainment just steps away. All of Detroit's major concert and sporting venues are a short, safe walk from the loft. The QLINE streetcar provides easy local transport along Woodward Avenue from Downtown to New Center with a stop just a few blocks away. Ride a MoGo bike or hop on one of the electric scooters (Lime, Bird, Spin) to explore the city. You are so close to everything! Little Caesars Arena, Ford Field and Comerica Park are all within a 10 minute walk. The restaurants, cafes, and shops on Woodward Avenue are just a 5 minute walk. Biking is also easy and convenient. The recently introduced MoGo bike share system has a station 2 blocks from the Loft. With 43 stations and growing, MoGo is another great way to get out and explore Detroit! Bird and Lime scooters are another inexpensive and fun way to get around. Download the apps on your smartphone and get scootin'! Or you can utilize the QLINE streetcar running up and down Woodward Ave. with a stop just a few short blocks away! It will take you from the heart of Downtown at the riverfront up to the beautiful Fisher Building and everywhere in-between. Don't forget, there's also Uber and Lyft! [GROUPS] *PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow 'parties' in the Loft -- groups or events that have loud music, heavy drinking, excessive noise or causing a disruption on the property will not be allowed. This is a shared building and we need to be respectful of our neighbors. Please inquire and provide details before booking for a group of more than 4 guests. [PARKING] Gated parking for one vehicle as well as street parking out front and throughout the neighborhood. It gets busy on game days so please plan accordingly. Gate opener will be provided at check-in. [LAUNDRY] In-unit washer & dryer. Detergent provided. Iron & ironing board provided. [ADDITIONAL SLEEP SPACE] The pull-out sofa features a queen mattress with memory foam topper. Our daybed is also an additional sleeping option. You're also welcome to bring air mattresses or sleeping bags should you have a larger group. [NOISE] A century-old building does not come without it’s quirks. The walls are a little thin (no fancy sound proofing here) so you can hear the neighbors in the lower units now and then. If it becomes an issue, we’ve reached out to the respective neighbor and the issue has been resolved immediately. Just a part of living in a shared building. :) [GUESTS] Please note, the loft is set up to sleep up to 4 guests. Additional guests are welcome for a nominal fee and larger groups may book the space for a private event. Please inquire for more details.
