Places to stay in Cane Beds
Come escape the crowds and chaos! Perfect for remote-working (great wifi!) Our homesteader’s cabin is nestled on a 400 acre ranch with a backdrop of stunning red cliffs. The cabin is self furnished with everything you need to live comfortable for weeks or months. Hiking, mountain biking, and views abound. Find solitude and peace as you explore the canyon, fields, and juniper forests on the property. You will have privacy but reassurance of having friendly neighbors. We give you fresh eggs too
Lyman's Place is an original homesteader's one room cabin. Built in the early 20th century, it has recently been restored and finished. It features the original wood plank floors, rough sawn lumber beams and paneling, as well as hand finished cob walls. It functions as a cute and cozy studio, with the entire living, kitchen, dining, and sleeping quarters in one room. It's ideal for traveling couples or adventurous singles. We provide simple breakfast items for you like granola, eggs, fruit, english muffins & juice. We also provide tea, coffee, and essentials like oil, spices, sweeteners, pantry staples, and convenience foods. There is a well stocked kitchenette which includes all the necessities for cooking. You will have a mini-fridge, microwave, double ceramic hot plate, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, and food processor. There is no regular oven for baking. There are plenty of dishes, pots & pans, & cooking tools to help you make that perfect meal. We also offer essentials like soap, paper towels, tin foil, etc. We try to be as thoughtful as possible in preparing the space to accommodate you. You will have clean, comfortable linens, extra blankets, towels, washcloths, etc. Lyman's Place has a full bathroom, however, only showering is recommended. The current hot water heater is not sufficient to fill the bathtub. You will have enough hot water for about an 8-10 minute shower or longer, depending which shower head setting you are using. You will also need to wait about 30 minutes in between showers for the tank to heat up again, so you may want to plan accordingly.
NOTE: The cabin is in "Cane Beds, AZ", 30 minutes away from "Fredonia, AZ". AirBnb automatically sets the location as "Fredonia" because we share the same zip code. We live in a safe and respectful rural neighborhood. Neighbors here watch out for each other and we will do the same for you. We have lived here for 20 years and cannot remember a single crime being committed in the neighborhood. Emergency responders are here within minutes of being called if necessary. There are cows, horses, and mini-farms and ranches all over. We hope you love the beauty of our rural area. • An amazing space with so many beautiful gems nearby. Highly recommend staying here. I had an incredibly magical and relaxing time.

  • Best Airbnb I have stayed at. The cabin is an amazing getaway and is drivable from several amazing parks/canyons. The property itself is gorgeous. Laura was a great host and the fridge was stocked with everything needed to make a hearty breakfast.

    Kyle2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful! Laura and crew are very thoughtful in providing not just a place to stay but an experience. The cabin is well appointed with a very comfortable bed, a nice kitchenette and a little table to eat at it. The porch off the back has great views. Take a hike out into their canyon. We had come here (with no plans) for our anniversary and we just kind of went with the flow! Laura and Michael gave us great recommendations. Take a day and go visit peek-a-boo slot canyon if you get the chance. It's absolutely amazing. This was our first Airbnb and we're going to have a hard time beating this place. Looking forward to coming back!

  • Beautifully unique place! Highly recommend!

    Andrea2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Laura’s place is fabulous. It offers off the beaten path and authentic cabin living. The colors in the landscape all around the cabin are spectacular - especially at sunrise and sunset. The cabin itself is cosy, cute and comfortable. We had a lovely camp fire out back during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin is perfect for visiting Zion. Go through the back road via Coral Pink Sand Dunes to get to Zion East Gate. That drive in itself is gorgeous and beautiful for a private road trip. Laura gave us some lovely eggs from her hens. They were delicious and reminded me of the eggs I have when I am on my parents’ farm in Ireland -so fresh and tasty. We got some beautiful pictures around the cabin. There is a canyon right beside it which is fun to visit. To be quiet honest, the cabin and it’s surroundings are almost as good as Zion National Park itself -and you get them all to yourself!! All in all, it was an excellent Airbnb experience!

  • Laura's cabin was awesome! The location had a beautiful backdrop, comfortable bed, and a great heater that was much needed for our February trip. Laura provided lovely breakfast items, etc. Which made for an easy time to eat and head out hiking. Laura was very communicative and friendly. I would highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing vacation!!!

    Lauren2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a true gem. The warm hospitality that is provided is by far the best i’ve ever encountered. Location is wonderful, space is great, food and local tips offered are hard to beat. 10/10 recommend

  • Wonderful and unique little hut near the pink coral dunes and also not that far away from beautiful zion national park. This little tiny hut is not big but big enough for a great stay. We also got pancakes. The neighbor „Michael“ is just a wonderful person and we have had good conversations with him! Thanks for everything! Marina & Chris

  • Super cozy cabin. Kept us toasty on a cool night. Bed was very comfortable, even for taller people [6 ft].

    Derek2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place is secluded and quite. Expect to see the night sky at its finest while sitting by the fire pit enjoying some good food and after that, there is always time for a relaxing dip in the hot tub.

    Javier2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I felt very welcomed on their ranch. Don and Cindy are great company when you're in need of some advice or assistance. The place is perfect for a getaway. I was by myself but it's big enough for a couple too. From here via a rental car I went to Zion, Bryce and antelope. It's well positioned for its price.

    Jono2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Tiny Cabin was everything as pictured, except WAY CUTER in person!!! It is definitely tiny, though, so only go into it if being restricted on space is right for you. The cabin is beautiful, hot water was no issue, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the basics. The heater kept the cabin plenty warm, but the loft gets HOT with it on. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

    Cara2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location. So cute. So unique. Overall an amazing experience. It was so nice to get away from the big city.

    Kassidy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely tiny Cabin located about 1 hr drive from Zion national park. Clean with great amenities, we went during winter and the cabin heater kept us warm . used the bonfire for some smores , cooked inside... All in all great stay.

  • Don and Cindy were able to accommodate our dog and infant without any troubles.

    Timothy2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter, puppy and I just stopped for a night's stay on the ranch on our way through the area to Phoenix. We had SUCH a great time! Don immediately met us when we pulled up and showed us around, then Cindy greeted us with a hug and pointed out some additional touches. She even had a bowl of water and a dog biscuit in the bunkhouse for our puppy Penny. She was thrilled! We ended up cooking marshmallows over the firepit and met 2 other great couples from Belgium and South America. In the morning, we were pleasantly woken by roosters, and had a lovely hot breakfast and coffee by the pond. We will definitely be back. Thanks Don & Cindy!

  • great stay!

    Samuel2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb was an experience in itself. It is simple, comforting, and fun. There was a lot more included than I expected. It is a small ranch with quite a bit of animals. The animals are all nice, especially the cats. We miss Ocean (one of the cats) already. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The showers were great. The environment promotes socializing. We were able to build a fire and talk with other travelers from all over the state. We made a ton of friends. The location was also rad. Don and Cindy provided us alternative directions to Zion which made the commute quicker and one of the most scenic drives. It is also conveniently located relatively close to other areas such as Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and Peekaboo slot canyon. I cannot wait to come visit again. In short, a good place with good people.

  • If you are looking for a nice place to stay while visiting bryce (2 hours) and zion ( 1 hour) this will be the perfect solution. The hospitality was great. When we arrived, don immediately showed up to give us a tour. He responds very fast on your questions. You can make a fire with the other guests, use the barbecue and the awesome jacuzzi. In the morning they serve toast, coffee and scrambled eggs while your sitting in a beatifull scenery. Cabins were nice, there are heaters for the cold nights, beds were good. Me and my girlfriend (stayed 3nights) will defenitely come back if we ever go to this area again.

    Anna2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Don & Cindy welcomed us with open arms. Communication was excellent, the bunkhouse and surrounding area were clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious and the outdoor cats were a surprise bonus. Please don’t change anything, you are doing it perfectly. Thank you!

Come experience the west at our "Rainbow Shackteau". Once a run-down shack, now "renewed" in a colorful palette of reclaimed wood and architectural salvage. You'll have goats and chickens for neighbors and the old windmill to sing you to sleep at night. Stars abound in our open night sky, and morning walks up our private canyon offer a one-of-a-kind experience. The Shack is centrally located to Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon, and the perfect home base for your parks adventures.
Every part of the"Rainbow Shackteau" (aka "The Shack") has been hand finished with detailed craftsmanship. From the spacious deck made from industrial pallets to the vintage tin wainscoting, the space is as unique as the ranch itself. In the morning you can feed our friendly goats just a few steps from your porch, or enjoy a full breakfast of free-range eggs and fresh milk. We also provide coffee, tea, essentials, and everything we can to make the shack feel like home. We have been AirBnb hosts since 2016 and love meeting our guests and offering them a unique experience.
NOTE: The Shack is in "Cane Beds, AZ", 30 minutes away from "Fredonia, AZ". AirBnb automatically sets the location as "Fredonia" because we share the same zip code. We are just a few minutes away from shopping and restaurants. • Without a doubt one of the best Airbnb's my boyfriend and I have stay at. Not only is the "shack" a comfortable place that makes you feel home, the people and animals that surround you make you feel like family. Laura was an amazing host, and we could never forget about our friend Michael. These people are some of the best, and anyone who stays here is in for a good time. We cant wait to come back!

  • This place is simply amazing.

  • This place is amazing, super comfortable and relaxing. Fantastic hosts! Five star rating isn’t enough..see for yourself, do it if you can!

    Eva2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Laura's place is a must! It was a little off my route but it was TOTALLY worth the extra driving. It's stylish, comfortable, and boasts great views of the surrounding mountains and stars at night. Laura provides plenty of food, so there's no need to worry if you don't feel like leaving the house (which you won't because it's so cute). I wish I would've had more time to stay at this unique, little getaway. Laura was kind and great at communicating. She provided lots of helpful information on finding the house and local spots. I would totally recommend her place to anyone coming near this area!

We got there and it was fully stocked with anything you can think of, enough to make us dinner and breakfast :) the dog we met was super sweet! Loved everything about this place 😍 it was a little difficult to find because you’ll loose service but as long as you follow their directions you will get there! ❤️

  • This place is absolutely amazing. A perfect hideaway in such a scenic location. Be prepared to be away from the world - there’s WiFi but no cell service for a few miles but that’s expected and pretty nice. Becky was so sweet - she provided eggs, coffee, milk and even fresh spring water. The hideaway is a great space for a couple but there’s a pullout bed in the downstairs area so there’s room for more than 2! Star gazing was beautiful and it’s close to tons of great stuff. Make sure you go to the sand dunes which are only about 20m away from the hideaway; sooo much fun. My partner and I will be coming back for sure! I can’t imagine a sweeter stay.

    Chastity2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the tiny home! It was beautiful, and had so much character. The view is stunning and peaceful. There is a fire pit in front of the house that I wish we would have gotten to use (it was cold and rainy). We also missed the stars but i’d be willing to bet it looks beautiful at night. I look forward to staying here again and would recommend to anybody!

    Nicole2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Tarzan's Hideaway is a great way to experience tiny house living! My husband and I loved it and Becky added the most darling touches, and what a sweet lady! Could not recommend this adorable little place anymore!

    Nicole2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Tarzan house is fabulous! It is a must stay. Becky is such a sweetheart. She provides everything you could need and more including coffee, eggs, and other snacks. There is an outdoor space that is completely your own, you can even make a fire! The inside space has a unique personality. I will always remember our stay here. It felt great to be there and was a pleasure to meet Becky. I hope to visit again!

  • If you are travelling to Zion and want a place to stay, book this place. Tarzan is a comfortable and tidy home that offers all the amenities that a person may need. Becky and her husband are such kind hosts and go to great lengths to make sure that your stay is enjoyable.

    Juell2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Convenient location!!! Easy trip to Zion, and surrounding areas!! The house is tiny but has everything you need. We made breakfast every morning before going on hiking trips :) Becky provided the eggs, English muffins and coffee! Also other small food items 🙂 perfect for two people.

  • We absolutely loved our stay here. The ranch is home to two horses, two dogs, and eight cats. One cat in particular is quite friendly, and I loved spending time with her. Don't worry if you're allergic though –– they're not allowed inside and its easy enough to avoid them if you have to. There's a fire pit, outdoor grill, fridge space, and jacuzzi. There's also breakfast in the morning. The bunkhouses get very warm with the heater so we slept comfortably despite the cold nights. The outhouse is the nicest I've ever seen (really more like a standard bathroom), and the showers are very warm. Overall, it felt like we were at camp again –– very collegial vibe and highly recommend it to all. I wish we could've stayed longer!

  • It was such an amazing and unique experience! If you get the chance to stay here, do it!!!!! Couldn’t have asked for anything else, they thought of everything and it has a real sense of community. We expected the tipi to get cold at night but it stayed warm!! Amazing place, I would definitely would recommend it!

  • An amazing spot and super cool experience staying in the tipi!! It definitely got cold at night, but the bedding was extremely comfy and warm! Also, after a long day of hiking we hopped in the jacuzzi which was amazing! We had to leave before breakfast at 7am, but it was nice knowing that it was offered! Highly recommend 🙌🏻

    Rachel2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We needed a place to stay for our last night after visiting Zion National Park and this tipi didn't disappoint. While we had never stayed in a tipi before, it was pretty comfortable inside with two small beds and did not get cold at night. The property has a rustic western feel to it and also has all the amenities you need. We especially enjoyed having a fire outside the tipi under the stars. The jacuzzi and breakfast was also plus. Don and Cindy are great hosts.

It has it's own PRIVATE ENTRANCE, KITCHEN, LIVING SPACE, FULL BATHROOM and LAUNDRY ROOM. In a quiet rural neighborhood, with beautiful views. "Off the beaten path". Has WiFi, High Speed Internet. -- FREE WASHER and DRYER-- RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF: Zion National Park -1 hr; Grand Canyon, North Rim -2 hrs; Bryce Canyon -2 hrs; Coral Pink Sand Dunes -20 min; Best Friends -30 miles.
Our rental is in a Quiet rural area, surrounded by nature, nearby to many state and national parks. A great place to rest after hiking or to just stay and enjoy the surrounding area. It does have a private entrance and includes the entire suite with own kitchen, living area, living space, bathroom, and laundry room.
Our neighborhood is in a rural area. There are about 20 homes and we are the furthest in from the road and up against the red mountains. It's a great place to get away from the city and be in nature. It is a peaceful place, great for watching the sunset or star gazing. Since our neighborhood is in the country, there is a large array of insects, including: crickets, beetles, grasshoppers, toads, stink-bugs, houseflies, daddy-long legs, house spiders, etc. You may also hear dogs barking, roosters crowing, and cows or horses. On the moutain behind the house, there are often bighorn sheep. In the evening, you might see deer grazing in the front yard. We do have some snakes in our area. Most of these are harmless, but there some are poisonous snakes. Be watchful when you are hiking and exploring.
  • Red Cliffs Ranch is a perfect location for anyone who is interested in the Colorado Plateau area. It is very close to both Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. There are plenty of amenities included at the property: a washer and dryer, a queen sized bed and a pull out, a full kitchen stocked with utensils, pots and pans, a Keurig, and even a water cooler. There are two fire pits, perfect for an evening of star gazing! It is also in a very quiet location. The property was clean and had nice stylistic touches, very rustic. The hosts were friendly and helpful, when I had questions about the surrounding area they went above and beyond. I would definitely stay again!

  • It’s perfect to stay for two people who wants to explore around Zion park and Grand Canyon. There’s beautiful rocks behind the house and you can see a full of stars at night. You’ll love it if you wanna stay in nature.

  • This place was a pleasant surprise, we arrived late at night, and were able to see the clear starry night! • The Red Cliffs Ranch was the perfect getaway for our needs. It was quiet and featured beautiful views of the surrounding red cliffs. At night the stars seem so close and the fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows while star gazing. The Ranch is also fairly close to all the sights like Zion, Bryce, and the towns of St. George & Hurricane. Definitely the best place to stay for your Utah/northern Arizona trip!

  • What a fantastic place to stay! It’s a remote location but loaded with wonderful amenities and character! Don & Cindy were wonderful hosts. We were greeted and given a tour upon arrival. These hosts go above and beyond! Would 10/10 recommend!

    Austin2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. You are greeted with a hug from Cindy and the magic starts there. I tent camped under the Milky Way each night, enjoyed breakfast/coffee with other travelers in the morning, and soothed my sore hiking feet at night in their jacuzzi. It’s a beautiful ~45 min drive the Zion. Don & Cindy feel like family and make you feel right at home. The horses, chickens, and cats are just another bonus! I’m definitely coming back to this gem in the desert.

  • Staying with Don and Cindy was awesome! The've built a wonderful little community for any of their guests. They are just around the corner from the Coral Pink Sand Dunes and Cindy had the best tips on how to visit and see other beautiful places in their area. We would definitely stay again!

  • An amazing location to wake up to. Could not get over the views! Very clear instructions are given to get to the very rural area of a very beautiful place. Very nice to take a shower outdoors under the moonlight and to finish the day off with a nice dip in the jacuzzi. Very friendly hosts. Nice breakfast with a beautiful pond and fire pit to surround. Super happy we were able to stay here for a night!

  • The Sheriff's Quarters exceeded our expectations. Cindy and Don are great hosts. Not only was the location beautiful, but the extra touches such as freshly laid eggs and freshly baked muffins really made our vacation that much better. I don't have a single criticism. Even the farm cats ran up to us to greet us. 5/5 would stay again in a heartbeat.

Happy Travels :)
NOTE: We are located in Cane Beds, AZ, NOT Fredonia, AZ. (AirBnb automatically sets the location using the zip code. Please view the location on the map at the bottom of this listing. Our neighborhood is nestled at the base of the red sandstone mesa known as Lyon's Point. People live here because this is a place where one can find peace and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Most people have lived here many years. Neighbors watch out for each other and will do the same for any guest staying at the Desert Sage Chalet. As you are enjoying your experience and being introduced to our country culture, remember, we do not live in the suburbs. This is a rural community and you may find that some houses or yards look different from what you are used to. Every house is on one acre or more, including the chalet, which offers extra privacy, but most of these properties are not perfectly manicured. You might even think some of them look a little "hillbilly", but don't worry, the chalet is located in one of the safest neighborhoods in Arizona. Our local host's husband has lived here for 24 years and cannot recall a crime being committed in all those years. Emergency responders arrive within 10 minutes when called. This neighborhood is dear to our hearts and we truly hope that each guest will understand why, as they share our home away from home with us. Please remember that the chalet is located in the country in a beautiful, natural habitat. During your stay you will probably encounter any of the following harmless creatures: crickets, beetles, grasshoppers, toads, stink-bugs, houseflies, daddy-long legs, house spiders, etc. You may hear a rooster crowing or dogs barking. You may walk out your door one morning and find a herd of cows grazing across the fence. This is part of the Desert Sage Chalet experience and we hope you are patient with mother nature. We do have rattlesnakes in the area, so if you go walking and exploring, please be careful and watchful. Rattlesnakes are naturally defensive creatures. Although bites rarely occur, it is something to consider when enjoying the desert. We also have gnats, mosquitos, and wasps, that can really "bug" you. We suggest wearing insect repellent when you explore, and always take food, water, and an emergency whistle. There is an emergency that you can use hanging on the hook by the back door. Never hike alone! If you have questions about hiking, or recreation in the local area, feel free to call your host or manager.
  • It was good. Perfect night view and I saw milky way for the first time. As you can see when you enter the hotel, there are plenty of cooking utensils and you will be attentive. good. Recommended ~

  • An adorable chalet not far from some amazing hiking spots. Sara or Laura always responded quickly and the house has all the essentials and more. We really enjoyed our stay in the area. I would suggest that anyone renting a car in the area get a 4WD. We rented a Sedan and it got a little tricky when a snow storm hit on our last day there.

  • Great stay, great location.

  • My wife and I stayed here for my birthday. It is a wonderful place. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Zion, Bryce, and the surrounding areas. There is a grocery store nearby as well as a local brewery. This place feels like home the moment you walk through the door. We loved it!!

  • I really enjoyed my stay at the Desert Sage Chalet. Most everything I needed to live comfortably was there but if ever I needed anything additional my hosts were very responsive in providing it. The property is private and peaceful. To the East there is nothing but open space for miles. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening from the patio outside. The stars at night are absolutely brilliant. The location was perfect for driving to explore the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce canyon, and other hidden gems. I did a lot of research on Airbnb before choosing a a place to stay and I have to say that my experience exceeded my expectations in just about every way. Highly recommended!

  • Sara's home is lovely and welcoming. We were there for a very short time and our only regret was not having more time to enjoy her home and the beautiful views!

  • Great heating and cooling. Plenty of hot water. Amazing hospitality. We were greeted immediately after parking. Directions provided by host saved our bacon. Cute and cozy spot nestled into a rural community. Perfect size for a couple looking for a place to stay after hiking in Zion all day and heading towards the North Rim.

  • Lovely and affordable space, in the middle of much peace and beauty! Great place if you’re looking for quiet getaway or for somewhere close to things to do, but away from all the hustle and bustle!

  • The Tiny T is cozy, warm and well equipped. I found it easy to prepare meals and Becky and Butch are excellent hosts. I highly recommend this little camper.

  • I loved my stay here. It was quiet and peaceful, and I’ve never seen the stars as bright as I did here! Tiny T is cozy and clean and well equipped with anything you could need—kitchen stuff, lots of towels, coffee, some breakfast items. Becky even left some fresh orange juice in the fridge. I only spoke with Becky briefly, but she was so kind and so so lovely. I hope to stay again sometime!

    Alaina2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay with Becky at the Tiny T. The location of the camper is beautiful and truly unique. Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon North national parks are all within 2.5 hr drive, making it an ideal base from which to explore. This is no cell reception in the camper but this wasn't much of an issue as the wifi was much faster than expected. Overall, we had a great stay in Tiny T and would highly recommend it.

    Heidi2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy. Heater was a huge plus. Hot shower. Lots of snacks and coffee. Towels. Lotion. Shampoo. Mahalo!

  • Great little trailer that was cozy and comfortable. It had heating, fastest wifi i had in the entire state and was well accommodated with things like coffee, water and some breakfast items. Check in was simple which was great as i was coming in from traveling at 1am and the hosts were so friendly. I booked this place since it was close to a grand canyon 4x4 trail i wanted to drive. Id stay here again if in the area. Definitely recommended.

  • Don and Cindy’s place was amazing. It is located in an area with stunning views, cozy enough for a few friends and close enough to see all major attractions in the area. There were thoughtful touches like extra towels, coffee, jam, and water bottles. We stayed here while visiting Zion Mountain, Grand Canyons, Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. I would definitely stay there again!

  • Absolutely great experience!! Don, Cindy and his friends are extremely hospitable. The ranch and RV are impeccably clean and welcoming. There is a wonderful outdoor area for grilling, eating and socializing with other guests. Don was a Navy cook so breakfast was 5 starts, much better than any hotel breakfast. We stayed during our trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. A tip, if visiting Zion, do not listen to Google directions. Instead turn left on the main road. When the road ends turn left towards the East entrance. It saves 50 miles over Google and you'll be rewarded with the little known east side of the park which is amazing.

    Michael2019-09-05T00:00:00Z

The bed is comfy and the luxurious soft water is amazing to bathe or shower in.

  • Mark & Heidi's place was incredibly clean, roomy, and convenient. The room was comfortable for four of us and was convenient to get to/from Zion/Grand Canyon/Antelope Canyon. Truly comfortable and warm experience. Would definitely recommend.

  • This was a great stay! The bedroom is very private- you don’t need to come through the house to access your entry. Very clean, cozy place. I loved having a water jug in the room and all other little things like paper plates, microwave and fridge. Overall very well worth the money! I found the drive to Zion to be a bit long but it is all along a scenic highway so wasn’t bad!

This was our primary residence for 12 years and we loved it. Now we share our little piece of paradise with you. Our home is in a Quiet, rural neighborhood, with beautiful views. It sits on 5 acres and backs up to the red cliffs which provide for some nice hiking. It is away from the city lights so it is a great location to watch the sunset and then do some star gazing. It has a spacious kitchen with the essentials. A great location a little "off the beaten path". There is an attached apartment that is also a vacation rental.
Our house has four bedrooms on the main floor. A large kitchen and large living area. There are three bathrooms, one with a shower/tub combination another with a large bathtub with hand held shower head. The third is downstairs and has a shower. Washer and Dryer are available for no extra charge.
Our neighborhood is in a Quiet rural area. On the mountain behind the house, there are occasionally bighorn sheep. In the evening, you might see deer grazing in the front yard. We do have some snakes in our area. We very rarely see them. Most of these are harmless, but there some are poisonous snakes. Be watchful when you are hiking and exploring. There may be gnats, mosquitoes, and flies during the warmer months. We recommend bringing insect repellent.
  • This house was a wonderful find for our 10 person family vacation. The house was a perfect distance for hiking needs. The views were wonderful and fire pit was great. We will be back.

  • Very good house. Clean and organized. I liked bathrooms and showers - quiet plumbing and nice hot water. Our group was surprised by piano there - so our musicians had some fun. Very quiet remote private location - which exactly what we wanted. Nice host - Alan, warm and hospitable, gave us some tips on visiting park. Communication was mostly thru watsapp, because our phones didnt have signal there.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were 16 of us from Ohio, Wisconsin and Florida. Had plenty of room for everyone! There is a special treat out back in the mountains but I will keep that a surprise for the more adventurous who like to hike! Loved the swing in the front. Spent an hour sitting or more out there taking in all the stars!!!

Stuart Farm is a three acre farm with a newly renovated five bedroom farmhouse in Cane Beds, Arizona. This area is one of the last great wilderness areas in Northern Arizona. If you want to get away from it all and get out in nature, this is the place. Located near the Arizona/Utah border, Stuart Farm is just around the corner from the Coral Pink Sand Dunes and about 45 min from Zion Park. We are an hour and a half away from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon or Bryce Canyon.
Stuart Farm is a three acre property that will feel like your very own country home. The main house renovation was just completed in August of 2017 and contains many modern features. The main house is about 1800 sq. ft.; fully furnished with everything that you need to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing stay. The Farm has an orchard, vineyard, greenhouse, private sauna and seasonal garden. In the summertime, we invite you to help yourself and enjoy any of the fruit and vegetables that are grown on the property. The Farm offers stunning mountain views, spectacular sunsets and glorious night sky's showcasing millions of stars. The farm is located next to a very rare "International Dark Sky Region" which is specifically protected for its distinguished quality of starry nights, superb views of the milky way and natural nocturnal environments. These areas are becoming more and more rare as light wash from nearby cities and towns drown out the ability to see the night sky with the naked eye. These regions only exist in a few remote places in the western part of America and scientists tell us than in less than ten years our area will be only one of two places left in the United States where dark skies will truly exist. This is something that you must see and if you are an enthusiast, bring your telescope and really enjoy something you may not have seen before. The farm is located on ancient Anasazi Indian ruins. It is said that over 10,000 Indians once lived in the Cane Beds valley. If you hike around the property, you may find arrowheads and ancient pieces of broken pottery. Petroglyphs are carved on the surrounding cliffs and caves can be seen where Indians once lived. If you find any Indian artifacts, please leave them where you found them. It is considered very bad luck to take Indian artifacts off of the land and as the Indians say, "Take only what you need, but leave the land as you found it". The farm is home to many wild animals including huge jackrabbits, deer, coyotes, cows grazing out on the east range and a herd of resident big horn sheep on the north ridge. There is also a family of big toads that live near the house patio that come out in the evenings to say hello and eat bugs. They are our friends, so be kind to them and leave them untouched in their element. Because we are out in the wilderness, the farm is also home to a large array of bugs, crickets, spiders, bees and the occasional snake. Most of the snakes are good snakes and keep rodents and rattlesnakes away from the property, but the rare rattlesnake has been seen in the area, so be mindful of where you are walking and always take precautions. Mother Nature has given us an abundance of gifts and we hope that you enjoy all of them. We only ask that you honor and respect the land; leaving it untouched. The house is fully furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, dishes and appliances. We have provided the basics for cooking such as salt, pepper, sugar, spices, oil, etc. You will only need to bring in the food that you will be eating. We have a second refrigerator/freezer in an adjacent butler's pantry off of the dining room for overflow. We also provide a complimentary bottle of wine, as well as coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. The home provides linens, hand soap, toilet paper, trash bags and cleaning supplies. There is a washer and dryer with complimentary laundry supplies and an iron and ironing board. The house comes with wireless internet and we have installed a cell booster so that your cellular phone will reach a signal. Additionally, we have provided a Television with Direct TV and a Roku box so that you can access Netflix, Hulu, etc. Four of the bedrooms are on the second floor along with a bathroom. Guests should be comfortable using stairs to access those sleeping areas. A queen bedroom is on the main floor along with a second bathroom for guests that would rather not use the stairs. Additionally, there is a pull-out sofa bed available on the main floor.
The Arizona Strip has long been a cattleman's paradise with large stretches of grassy meadow in the valleys and the high Kaibab plateau as summer forage. At the beginning of the 20th century the Grand Canyon Cattle Company ran upwards of 100,000 cattle throughout the strip to graze. Today, the area consists mostly of small ranchers raising herds for market. The Canebed's area has been cattle ranching country since the mid-19th century. Many of the original ranching families still live here as they have for generations and occupy the cattle grazing lands. Our neighborhood is nestled at the base of the red sandstone mesa known as Lyon's Point. Many of the neighbors have lived here for a long time and enjoy the peace and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Neighbors watch out for each other and will do the same for any guests staying at Stuart Farm.
  • Beautiful rustic farmhouse with modern amenities, perfect home base for Arizona and Utah activities.

  • I could not be more grateful and happy with our stay at Stuart Farm. Where do I begin... I came up to celebrate my birthday with a group of six family, and friends. Everyone in our group was blown away with our stay. The house is located in the most perfect place if you’re visiting Zion, Bryce Canyon, or Grand Canyon. From the location of the house we were able to take the back roads to the parks which had the most beautiful views, and private drive the entire time. Such a great balance of staying in the countryside, and having everything you need or can think of in the house. This included kitchen equipment, pantry goodies, plenty of clean sheets/pillows, and clean towels. The house has thoughtful touches, and is beautifully decorated which gives out a warm welcoming feeling. The bedding, and mattress were very comfortable. The King size bedroom also comes with an awesome sky view (closes & opens ) that you can enjoy as you fall asleep looking up at the starts. The restroom, and shower were very clean, and well stocked as was the entire house. We had plenty of hot water the entire trip, and the house has great central heating. At the end of day it was great to be able and sit in the jacuzzi (which was well maintained & kept hot), and enjoy the gorgeous views all around as we watched the sunset. The star gazing from the deck was amazing! The house is located in the countryside, which is perfect for stargazing, and privacy. We felt very safe our entire stay. I hope I can come back in the spring or summer one day. Penny truly is an amazing host. Thank you Penny!

  • Great house for a large family of 7 plus two kids! All enjoyed the kitchen, hot tub, stargazing, and cozy touches. The laundry and well stocked kitchen were very handy for a group! Appreciated the modern appliances and conveniences in a nicely renovated farmhouse. Penny was helpful as needed but never invasive. Great home base for a lot of national/state parks and the store down the street is a gem!

    Bethany2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Penny’s place was excellent! Terrific host, great space indoors and out. Easy travel to the national Parks. Totally recommend it!

    Jonathan2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • We knew this would be a great place to stay for our four day trip but we were amazed at just how wonderful it is. As you can see from our five star ratings of all features, we absolutely loved being there. If we (four good friends who live in different states) ever have the opportunity to visit the amazing Southwest and it's spectacular sights again, we will absolutely make every effort to stay here again. Loved it.

    Pam2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Penny’s place was a home away from home! Me and my group enjoyed every bit of our stay and appreciated how clean it was. With plans to see Zion, Bryce, antelope, and the Grand Canyon this location was perfect for us! A drive was still necessary but would recommend this spot for anyone doing the same. The hot tub was so great to have at the end of a day full of hikes, as was the generous complimentary bottle of wine! All appliances were appreciated , especially the washer & dryer! We were sad to leave, and hope we can find ourselves back here again some day :)

  • Very much worth a stay, definitely have a copy of the directions on you or screenshot on your phone. I managed to get there at night without getting turned around or lost but only because of the clear directions Darryl provided.

  • We booked just one day in advance but everything went quick and smooth. We got greeted by Charnel and her superb hospitality, and woke up to the sound of the cute chickens outside. We really couldn‘t ask for more!

  • We had a short 1 night but amazing stay. The direction Darryl provided worked totally well to find the place. Darryls home is special but comfy and spotless clean. We slept like babies and enjoyed the breakfast. Thanks Darryl again for having us (and being easy going with the check out), we are looking forward to meet again!

    Johanna2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay at Darryl's place. Truly a unique home. Thanks for having me and until next time.

    Birte2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Darryl is literally the most thoughtful and affable host! He offered me some fresh eggs, bagels and other options for breakfast before I headed out to Bryce (2 hour drive). I love the cute and friendly goats, the weird chicken (all of the chickens are great actually), and the swamp cooler which works miraculously well. The wolf is big and the hospitality warm, so if you're comfy driving on coral pink dirt roads to find Darryl's Quonset hut a ways out of town, then this is your place! (I drove the dirt roads with no problem in my Honda. )

  • We had a great stay at Darryl's place. He's a charming host in a nice out-of-the-way location with quick access to so many beautiful sights. The farm fresh eggs in the morning were such a treat. You won't go wrong choosing to stay here.

    Scott2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfortable! Darryl was a friendly host with lots of interesting stories! His directions made it very easy to find. He let us use his kitchen which was a lovely surprise as we had been eating microwave meals for the 5 prior days!

    Amanda2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Darryl’s place is a diamond hidden away in the outskirts of Arizona. Great communication, beautiful place and great coffee in the morning. Would definitely come back!

    Dinara2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Darryl was a wonderful host. Great conversations in the house and out on the upstairs balcony. Beautiful views. His directions are perfect to get to his place so just follow them. I felt so at home there. Wish I had booked it to do my Zion and Bryce exploring instead of Cedar City. The bed is so comfy and the room dark, I slept great. Not to mention a TV with all the channels which sometimes can be hard to get at Airbnb’s. This is the first time I’ve ever cooked during a stay but his place says “cook” (just don’t forget to clean up after yourself!).

    Sharon2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Darryl is a great host!! Because his house is a bit tricky to find, he sent us a pretty accurate description how to get there. And it wasn’t that hard to be honest :) We came very late and he was still up to welcome us which was very nice! He also offered us anything from his fridge including yummy eggs! If you are in this area, stay at Darryl’s place - it’s an experience and you won’t be disappointed!

    Nina2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Darryl for your hospitality here on airbnb! We spent a lovely 2 nights in Darryl’s home with our pup, whom he kindly allowed to hang out in his fenced back yard all day while he explored Zion. For that alone I am incredibly thankful - it saved us a trip to a nearby dog sitter. Darryl is there if you need assistance, otherwise you’ll have perfect privacy. There is another room down the hall made available to Airbnb as well, but both rooms have their own bathrooms. We would definitely stay again in his unique home.

    Em2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot to stay on the way to Zion! It can be a bit tough to find at night, but Darryl was very hospitable and left the lights on to guide us where we needed to be. Awesome property and views. Very comfortable and pet-friendly.

    Kyrsten2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic host, wonderful atmosphere, and a great location. Darryl was exceptional with hospitality and took care of all my needs. Especially enjoyed the conversations. Very quiet location and close to all the national parks. I would definitely recommend Darryl's place.

  • Awesome place, best glamping session ever

    Vini2019-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy glamping-site with an amazing view of the mountains. We booked at 6pm and got accepted instantly. Lovelle does not mind sending somebody over to solve a problem, even at night. Strongly recommended!

    Lucas2018-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was definitely a cool camping set up with views of Zion. The bed was better than expected with really soft sheets. The amenities exceeded expectations as well - water, shower, grilling utensils, candles, tissues, flashlights, fire starting kit, etc. We met a couple camping next to us who just got engaged the night before so you know it’s a sweet spot. Things you should know: get there during daylight to make it easier on yourself while finding the location (directions provided by host were sufficient). Take cash if you want firewood for $5. The shower set up is not your home bathroom which makes sense since you’re camping (it’s a bag with a nozzle attached). This is not IN Zion, but about an hour away from the park.

    Ben2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovelle's campground is an awesome space to relax if you're going to Zion or just want to get away from people for a little bit. It is about 45minutes to an hour from Zion, but not an issue for us. I think the location was great and away from all the tourism. The tents are large, comfortable beds, and clean. Some cooking utensils were provided as well as towels and water. The firewood for the campfire was a bargain (we bought one bundle for each night). The wooden pavilion/grilling area was a nice place to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the mountains. Shower water warms up nice if you read the instructions. Quite refreshing after hiking at Zion. Portapotty was clean, but hand sanitizer would be a nice amenity to add (even if it was outside the shower stall). Would recommend for people who don't want to bring all their camping gear!

    Josh2018-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Secluded and sweet. Cold shower but refreshing. Portapotty was a little full :/

    Kristi2018-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I stayed in Lovelle's airbnb for one night to experience the area for the first time in a new way. We left Zion Park later than we anticipated and arrived at in the area after the sun went down. We tried finding it on our own and got completely lost. We called Lovelle and with her awesome direction skills were at our campsite airbnb in no time at all! The tent was everything the pictures showed on during booking. The temperature was a bit cold outside and Lovelle provided two heaters as well as an extra blankets for warmth. The bed was amazing and we were very warm all night. I would love to be back!

    Lauren2018-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in the tent ! Easy to access and beautiful set up. We bought firewood down the road and had a campfire and there was a charcoal grill to cook on. Basic cooking utensils and one camping silverware were provided but bring your own plates, utensils, cups, and any pots/pans if you think you'll need . Five gallon water jug was provided and a big help! Bed was super comfortable and tent had a lot more room if people wanted to bring sleeping bags . Lovelle provided an extra blanket and gas heater because we were worried about it being too cold . Turns out we didn't need it but were glad to have it just in case . Close to town and grocery store if you needed more supplies .

    Sydney2018-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • WOW! This spot couldn’t get any better! Kept very clean, great queen size bed, and the best views! This was such a great value! Lovelle was so great with any questions I had. Already trying to plan another trip. We definitely want to stay here again!

  • The space is amazingly intimate and it is definitely different than camping with the crowds. Super easy check in process and amazing views.

    Alfredo2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Its really nice location to have camp, we were surprised after reaching the location and brought all the vegetables and things from near by Bee's market ( you get every thing there) and enjoyed our stay with campfire.

    Raghu2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Cassandra and James were amazing! Extremely hospitable and quick to respond. They were anyways readily on hand if we had any questions or issues. Their place was clean and very well kept. The location was perfect for us to visit the local national parks!! Would totally stay again and recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet with a bit of camping vibes.

    Stephanie2019-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here with four more of my friends for a weekend hiking around Zion. This was perfect for us because it was far enough away so that we were away from the crowds around Zion but close enough to go anytime we wanted! Place was perfect: clean, beds were spacious, and fireplace and grill allowed us to have some awesome stargazing. Perfect price too for everything and hosts were very hospitable, letting us check in late, and also checking in with us during our stay. 10/10 would recommend :)

  • We are regular Airbnb travelers and would rate Randy's place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. You can tell that Randy has gone above and beyond to make sure that his guests are more than comfortable. I appreciated the attention to detail that Randy has put into this cabin, it really made our stay more than wonderful. The outdoor fire pit, being one of these details, was phenomenal & definitely made our experience more than perfect. The cabin itself was very clean. It had a rustic charm with everything we needed to feel at home. The Airbnb was in a great location. It was close to all of the sites and national parks that we wanted to see as well. Communication was great too. We will definitely be staying here again & would highly recommend Randy’s cabin to anyone.

    Triciah2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Extremely beautiful cabin. Almost like a rustic art project. Seems like everything was made custom. Awesome fire pit as well. It’s something you have to see. Furnishing are very thoughtful and unique. It was an excellent experience. One note: it’s easier to find in the daylight. The cabin is on a property away from the main road. A pin would be more useful than an address.

    Taybor2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Randy’s cabin was perhaps the best Airbnb experience I have had yet. The amount of detail that has gone into this cabin is incredible. Practically everything you see has been custom made or repurposed. And let’s not forget about the amazing campfire and stargazing experience inside the custom rock fire pit to top everything off. That was the cherry on top. The amenities available are awesome and the helpfulness and responsiveness from Randy was much appreciated. Plus it is centrally located to several state and national parks. We can’t wait to find an excuse to come back to stay as soon as possible.

    Aaron2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • It was such a pleasure to stay at the Little Rock Cabin this past week. I was looking for a getaway from the city hustle and found just that. Nestled below the majestic Red cliffs of Southern Utah and conveniently located on my way to the Grand Canyon. The hosts were very quick to respond and helpful. I found it with ease and loved this beautiful cabin immediately. The attention to detail and all the artistic touches throughout were exactly what this girl needed. I found everything as promised and so much more. Be sure to enjoy a fire under the stars; it is gorgeous and a great way to end a fun filled day. Sparkling clean and comes with my highest recommendation. I'll be back. Thank you

  • We loved this place! It has a fun farmhouse feel, had a lot of character and western decor, very roomy, inviting, clean and accommodating. Loved the house layout with the big loft. Pretty views of sandstone, red sand, and near fun places to visit like Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Enjoyed a morning run in the quiet surroundings and watched the Bald Eagle perched nearby every day. Lori was very quick to respond to questions and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved cooking a big breakfast in the furnished kitchen, grilling burgers out back, having a washer and dryer to use, Roku/Netflix for winding down at nights, and a big open kitchen/ family room area for entertaining and family time. If you are looking for a place away from the busy city and enjoy some southern Utah scenery and unplug while still enjoying the comforts of home, this is a great place to go! We highly recommend it and hope to go there again sometime!

    brooke2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The house was AWESOME! Kids and I loved the space up stairs and down stairs. Our only two biggest issues were the road, we were so afraid to leave or come back because we would get stuck (it was super muddy) I definitely recommend a MUST have a 4x4 vehicle. At least during snowing or raining times. My mudding skills definitely were in use with our minivan rental. And then the connectivity. We had 4 different services on our phones (1 Verizon, 1 AT&T, 1 TMobile, 1 Cricket) all had no service. That is definitely not Lori’s fault. It was just scary for us. But on the bright side no one from my jobs could reach me lol. I was completely disconnected from both jobs. There was WiFi but it was very shoppy. So be prepared to be disconnected from the world. Other than that we had a wonderful white Christmas because it snowed. We opened all the blinds and it was just breathtaking. The views were beautiful. Lori went out of her way by adding a Christmas tree and welcoming us with a little welcome basket. No one has ever done that in other AirB&B’s we’ve stayed at. We greatly appreciate her for that. We do look forward to another adventure in this area and hope we are lucky enough to find this place still affordable and available to us. We will definitely be bringing a 4x4 truck. Lol.

  • We booked this beautiful campsite last minute on New Year's Eve and the team really pulled together to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed! They rushed space heaters up to us and provided access to firewood- they even helped us start the fire while we settled in! All of the sites are nestled at the base of a beautiful mountain where you can catch both sunset and sunrise views.

Come enjoy a night of solitude, incredible views, star gazing, and enjoying nature at its finest! Near by is a grocery store, gas station, merry wives cafe, berry knoll bakery, and just up the road we have The Narrows hike. We're centrally located near Zion National Park, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Coral pink sand dunes.
Right down the road from the famous Narrows hike with a breathtaking view of Zion makes this place so unique. We have places to eat near by and grocery store. This space is our own land and we love it and the view it has so much!
  • The campsite was great. The bed was clean and comfortable and there was a heater, lantern, fire starters and grill tools.

  • We had a great time. Stayed during the last week of December. It was cold. We were very glad to have our sleeping bags in addition to the bedding provided (overnight temps tires were down in the teens). The cold took a little “glam” out of the glamping; but in a good way. Gave me and my fiancé the adventure we were looking for. Great amenities, and an awesome and caring host. We will be back.

  • Super fun experience! Note the Zion tent sits DIRECTLY on top of another tent. We didn’t have a problem on our trip but if you want seclusion pick another tent. Also condensation builds in the tent so don’t put your things around the edges of the tent. A nightstand would be nice and a sign at the road fork.

  • Beautiful view! Comfortable bed! Quiet surroundings! Lovelle was great at communicating with us and very hospitable. Would definitely return!

  • This was the best glamping experience I've had thus far. The views were GORGEOUS. Zion View easily has the best location out of the other tents on the campgrounds (Water Canyon, Eagle's Nest, Lone Rock to name a few). The portapotty, shower, and the communal dining area were in close proximity to the Zion View tent. No one else was camping so my bf and I had the area to ourselves over the weekend, which was very peaceful. It was super cold at night, but the extra sheets and bedding that were provided were warm and comfy. Our fire pit faced the beautiful Canaan mountains, so we roasted s'mores as we watched the beautiful sunset and the stars light up the sky. Bring extra camp lights and lanterns, especially at night since it gets super dark. Lovelle was very responsive and provided specific details on how to get to the campsite and the local Water Canyon hiking trail. Highly recommend this campsite if you want a nice, peaceful retreat.

  • This was my second time visiting—almost to the exact date a year later! This tent doesn’t offer an outside table next to your fire pit like some of her other sites, but it does offer the best views. Lovelle is a thoughtful host and provides cooking utensils, a small heater, a charcoal grill, and water (one of those cooler jugs) is provided. Adjacent to the site is a communal gas grill, table with chairs, and a hammock. I loved being able to spend some time with my dog at this site. I look forward to making another trip.

  • Really special experience about an hour out from Zion. Maybe not glamping but definetely an upgrade from your usual camping !

  • Loved this spot. Beautiful scenery and excellent response times. I had trouble getting to the site in the dark so Lovelle met me and let me follow her there! The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean! It is not a full glam camping experience so don’t expect it but it is definitely camping made easier! Had a great stay.

  • Soon as we checked in a bad storm wrecked our tent.. our host was right on top of it and Russell did what he could and moved us to a new tent. Awesome location and great scenery! Highly recommend it.
