We did a great job at Ina. The place was clean and very nice, the beds good and the views were great. Ina was also quick to respond if we were wondering. We will happily return at a later date and would recommend the place to others!

We had a very good stay in Ina's house, the location is quiet with a great view of the sea. The village of Berkkjarvik, a few minutes by car, is lovely and has all the useful shops. Ina was very responsive and informed us when we requested her.

Nice, quiet house just outside the village directly on the sea. From the living room you have an incredible view of the sea with the small islands. The house has everything you need everything is clean and well furnished. There is a table and bench next to the house to sit outside, but we found this less comfortable, because a lot of equipment and other things the fisherman around the house stands around. All in all, the accommodation was very nice and also recommended.

Ina’s place was absolutely beautiful, with new furniture, comfortable beds, a great coffee machine and beautiful views over the fishing port. It’s just a half an hour walk to Bekkjarvik, another beautiful part of the island. Ina was really helpful throughout booking and when we arrived. I’d love to come back.

Great nice rorbu! We were 8 girlfriends who had a weekend trip. Great cost us. Nice hiking opportunities close by. Good fishing and swimming conditions. Walk to Bekkjarvik in 15 minutes.

A clean and stylish place. Good space with many beds makes the venue an attractive place if you want to visit both the archipelago for fishing, and Bekkjarvik center for a better dinner. We walked from place to center, and it did not take long, about 15 - 20 min. Good internet access, and Apple TV. All kitchenware is available, and outdoor furniture makes the stay a pleasant experience.

We and our friends from Czech Republic were really satisfied with Inas place. We had everything what we needed and I can really recommend it for the other guests. Thank you, Jiri.

Lovely surroundings, quiet and peaceful. Great decorated, good beds and bed linen. Not suitable for small children, steep stairs to the loft, steep stairs from the entrance door to the apartment, located on the edge of the dock. Can be safely recommended.

I had a lovely stay in Austevoll. The house is surrounded by scenic nature and is perfect for a getaway from city life. Communication with Inna was very easy and reliable. Her parents were even so kind to pick me up from the bus station and show me the island. Wonderful hospitality :) I highly recommend Inna's house.

This boathouse is a must for anyone looking for a stylish getaway in a quiet seaside village. Lars is Great- well deserving of his super host ranking. He recommended a fabulous restaurant right on the next island which is definitely worth the trip. Right down the street from a market, it is easy and relaxing place to spend a visit and enough to Bergen for a day trip. We highly recommend both of Lars’ places / we ended up staying at his other flat up the hill because the boathouse was booked. Plan ahead- this is the seaside retreat you deserve.

Thomas's cottage is on a small hill with great views of the sea. The cottage is clean, spacious and well appointed. We went there with a child two years and a child of five, and Grunnevika was a dream for them. The cabin had a loft with movie and games, there was a trampoline outside the house, and best of all, a short distance from the house there was a shallow bay where children and adults could go crab hunting. Grunneviken is only a few minutes drive from Bekkjarvik, it is a short distance to most of Austevoll. We had a great stay and hope to come back here.

I house was just the right place at the right moment. A very relaxing place to be in and out. The feel of Norway on your doorstep. Smelling the sea, and watching the sunset. The house is great for adults as well as for kids who can use the trampoline, but also watch TV with a variety of choices on dvds. Perfect kitchen and gear for fishing and outdoors. If it was close to where we live we definetly come back!

We have had a very wonderful stay at this cabin! The cottage is spacious and in good condition. Well equipped kitchen, cozy furnished cottage, clean and nice. Nice with access to a freezer compartment in a storage room, a practical porch for wagon etc. We have traveled here with toddlers, and it worked very well! Otherwise it was also nice to vacation with toddlers in Austevoll in general, several nice hiking trails, Austevollsbadet, Bekkjarvik, fishing, boat opportunities - great days for young and old! Good communication with Thomas. He tips on local swimming beaches among others.

A very nice cottage on the "seafront", lovely sea views. We were lucky and got to experience a beautiful sunset that colored the sky red. The cabin contained everything you could need for both young and old. Nice and clean, suitable for both small and large families. A nice place that we would like to come back to. Cozy cabin with lots of beds. We were two adults and three boys. The boys loved the loft with a variety of videos. Short driving distance to Bekkjarvik, a very charming village. Also short distance to trails with great view.

We loved our stay at Lars home. He offered us another place of his to stay after we decided to stay in the area. It was not the same vibe as his boat house we perviously stayed but we loved the area, the space had a great view and he is a really great host! we wished to be back sometime!

Håvard was very hospitable in pleasant. We got into trouble with our car when we went home after our stay, and he set up in a short time and helped us so we reached the ferry. Great rorbu with nice views, proximity to the sea and everything one needs of equipment and facilities. We will be happy to return

This is an astonishing place. Peaceful, relaxing and super beautiful! Perfect place for swimming, fishing and enjoying the Norwegian archipelago. We stayed there for 2 nights and had a great time. We saw porpoises, eagles and a lot of fishes. There’s a shopping center nearby with everything you need. If you stay here, do borrow the boat and enjoy the islands. There’s also nice walking trails. Karl-Olav is a super friendly host that can tell you about the local history. He will make sure that you have a good stay. Go here! Thank you Karl-Olav!

A beautiful and modern rorbu with its own and secluded pier. Lovely location! We bathed right from the dock and rented a boat from which we fished dinner. Good beds, nice and clean. Karl Olav is a very nice and helpful host, who lives close by. Definitely a place we can recommend!

First guests in this lovely authentic fishermanshouse. An old house with modern interior with fisherman/ship details. Bedrooms well equiped with good beds and bedlinnen, an complete kitchen with supplies and a great bathroom/shower. Love the deck at the water with amazing view and private seating due to no neighbours. From the livingroom you've got seaview from 3 sides of the room. Great experience. Karl is a friendly and charming host, very great in hospitality. Had some tips for hiking and shopping Bekkjarvik. We did hikespot Kongsen. He checked during our stay if everything is fine or that we needed items. His house is nearby and you can contact him very easy by phone. Our stay (4 nights) was great, we would recommend this house to couples or families because of the space and location. The islands are very pretty and peacefull. Karl thank you!

Frode and his family were great hosts; this was a wonderful space for our family to stay! It is clear that he has put in a lot of time, money, and love into this apartment and we are fortunate that he has decided to share it with guests. Note: Google Maps only got us about 95% of the way there but Frode's instructions were helpful in helping us navigate the remaining distance.

We stayed for a week on this beautiful island and the house is approximately in the middle, so that all other places are very easy to reach. We tried to do a different hike every day. A signposted easy path is located directly within walking distance of the house. Recommended also the hike over the newly created sherpaweg on the Kongsen and the hike to the Loddo. Or just enjoy the view from the kitchen / dining room to the sea. Veronika lives next door and is happy to provide you with further hiking tips and recommendations. Somewhat sporty, the steep ladder / stairs into the roof with the beds, our almost 2-year-old daughter always climbing alone up and down and no help wanted. That made for some nervousness - especially since it never stayed with a climbing attempt. We can highly recommend this cozy cottage!

The relatively remote island of Selbjørn is worth exploring, and this place is the perfect place to do so...right on the water, quiet, and beautiful. Øyvind went way out of his way to make this trip one of the most memorable of my life. If I could give ten stars Hege and Øyvind I would do so!

An absolutely beautiful place, close to the sea and all we needed was available to us in the house. It was nicer than we expected, the most homely house we have rented. Both big and small will return.

If you're into quiet holidays by the sea, you'll love this place! The house shares the bay with only one other abode, and you even have a tiny beach for easy access to the water. Dorthea offered us fishing lines and SUP, moreover there's a large wooden deck in front of the house for relaxation and BBQs. The house is a bit aged and some of the windows won't open but otherwise it's very comfy and tidy. Dorthea is a very friendly hostess, came to accompany us out to the house personally and gave some good advise on local activities. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic sunny weekend With relaxation and bathing. The house is very charming and was spacious enough for 7 People. We were 2 grandparents, 4 adults (30-35yrs) and a boy 9 years old. Dorthea was very friendly and helpful, it was easy to communicate about how to get to the Place. For a Nice weekend With many People this house is really Nice: the livingroom/dining room feels bigger than in the photos.

Go there! Our stay in the Dorthea’s house was magic. The place is wonderful, authentic. Far from the agitation, it is the perfect place to clear his mind. Home great and very pleasant home! Idyllic setting for a peaceful stay in nature ...

We had a wonderful autumn holiday with children in one of Austevoll's beautiful pearls. The site was located in an idyllic cove well sheltered from wind and weather. Got a great welcome which was far more than we had expected. The house had everything we needed, we need not have brought us some stuff. They had made clear mass crabs in pots at the dock to us and fishing gear was clear. The kids enjoyed themselves in the wonderful autumn weather and plenty of activities (swimming, barbecuing, fishing, boat trips and play in nature). Thank you for the hospitality and the great experience you gave us.

Dorthea was an amazing host and the accommodation itself was even better than we were expecting. We went fishing on the private pier, blueberry picking in the forest and had a BBQ by the water in the evening. We only stayed one night, which was a mistake, next time we'll make it a few nights minimum. The house was located in a quiet and peaceful bay shared only with one other house. Inside the house it was clean, spacious and well furnished. Dorthea met with us on the closest main road, guided us to the house and then gave us a brief tour. She was very friendly, helpful and generous. I highly recommend this place for families, groups of friends or even couples who want to spend time relaxing in beautiful nature, close to Bergen maybe or on the way home from a hiking trip like we us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dorthea's house! The house and the whole island are super sweet and beautiful. The house is located just a few steps away from the water, so you can easily fish. The communication with Dorthea was very good throughout our stay and she as well as her family gave us helpful recommendations regarding fishing and other attraction of the island.
