Really responsive hosts, lovely flat in a walkable area, close to the sea with great local bars and restaurants.

Het appartement ligt op de grens van Brighton en Hove in een leuke straat vlakbij de zee. Het is een sousterrain en toch is er voldoende licht en we voelden ons er prettig. Het is in een rustige straat, af en toe (maar niet vaak) hoorden we de bovenburen. Al met al een aanrader!

Lovely flat. Perfect for me and my daughter to have a long weekend exploring Brighton. The sweet treats were appreciated on arrival, having a box of Lego and games went down an absolute storm with my 6 year old. Washer and drier really handy with wet stuff after swimming in town. The bed was also very comfy. Thanks for a great stay and all of your advice - Pellicano coffee really is delicious!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der tollen Wohnung von Steven. Die Wohnung ist toll und die außergewöhnliche Aussicht vom Balkon auf das Meer atemberaubend. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, sauber und gemütlich. Steven ist ein fabelhafter Gastgeber, die Schlüsselübergabe, gemeinsame Parkplatzsuche und persönliche Einweisung in die Wohnung war mehr als man erwarten könnte. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

This basement flat was perfect, well provisioned, and fabulous location, close to restaurants, bars, and the sea front. the No. 6 bus can get you to and from the train station. As all basement flats, there is no direct sunlight. I would recommend this flat.

This little treasure was quite lovely. location is in the middle of it all Spectacular for town walks, beach access, and shocking how quiet and private it was. I would live here spot on, beautiful in everyway, art meets garden complete... a Morris touch. Detailed, cosy and well put together, love the garden being a step up from the apartment, brings light to the basement with a pretty view. everything you need plus a slice of luxury and country cottage feel. comfy bed and very decent shower plus snug on a chilly evening. Good functional amenities made the whole experience a joy with a friendly host as well

Gorgeous and generous accommodation in Old Hastings, central to great restaurants, independent shops, the beach, and old fishing quarter. The accommodation is beautifully decorated with interesting objects, and feels like home from home. The thoughtful details and numerous provisions made for a great and happy stay. Our thanks to the hosts for the ease or communication and plentiful suggestions and, of course, for the wonderful 'home'. We hope to be back!

We had a lovely time at Fifth Quarter. Very peaceful, welcoming & well equipped. Enjoyed the walk into the beautiful village & loved the walkway along Forest Way to Forest Road. Mick & Linda went out of their way to accommodate us & we had everything we could ask for and more! Highly recommend, thank you.

Great place, very close to high street and very easy to get to. Nice pub nearby and lovely town overall. Tim was really helpful and responsive too. Would stay again!

Super cute cottage, completely tucked away yet close to everything. We had a very peaceful stay. When the sun shone, we had breakfast in the garden and then when it rained, we sat by the log burner and chilled out. Comfy beds and everything literally on the doorstep. It was so tucked away, we couldn't find the cottage at first and walked up and down The Mint. It is a tiny, was going to say 'lane', but it's really a pathway off Mermaid Passage, opp The Old Bell pub, with Rae cafe/shop on the corner. Follow signs to Cobbles Tea shop and go through the gate marked 'private'. The What3Words are: announce-quail-nagging. Note: We drove down The Mint and pulled over by Rae to unload the car, then parked in the Cattle Market car park £3 per 24 hrs. Despite GoogleMaps insistence, no we could not drive up Mermaid St when we arrived. If you are travelling with kids, there is no TV, which was kind of lovely but be prepped with books and games.

A lovely place to stay near the beautiful Rye town. There are some lovely walks around and lovely little shops nearby. Jacqui's place was clean, spacious and very comfortable.

Emily and Daniel were brilliant hosts and very easy to communicate with. Their home is beautiful and it was spotlessly clean too. Their pool area is stunning so if you get the weather it’s a really lovely space to enjoy. I would recommend this to anyone looking to spend time in this area, just be aware that the pool area is shared with their home. We were staying as did the Seven Sisters hike one day (40mins drive away). Thank you again for a lovely stay.

Just home from two nights in Geoff and Suzi's delightful cottage we had an amazing stay. Felt just like home . Their cottage is spotless and extremely comfortable. it also has the cutest of a courtyard with ancient citadel wall backdrop . Best night sleep in a long time. I would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone . thank you very much

Just back from a very relaxing break at Pebbles by the Bay. Great location right by the beach. The apartment was really comfortable and had everything we needed for a really lovely break together. Kitchen is really well equipped, and the beds were really comfortable. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, thank you. We all enjoyed it and would visit again. The older people in our party found the steps in and out of the apartment at the front a bit tricky but Angela gave us keys to the back entrance stairs which have a handrail and that was helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This is a brilliant airbnb. It is a real home from home. Everything is of a really hi spec from the bathroom to the bedding. It had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Julie was a great host and was very flexible with the times of arrival aand departure which helped us out immensely. We were given a lovely friendly welcome and information on good places to eat etc. We were even given a bottle of milk! Cannot recommend this place highly enough, will defo be back!!

It was modern but homely, beautiful outside space. Nic was helpful and the little added touches made it for us. Locket place to chill unwind, the beach is a stones throw away, enjoyed waley morning walks. Perfect 👍

David’s place was amazing. It had every comfort you could want. David was incredibly helpful and responsive at every stage. The information he provided was extremely detailed. We thoroughly enjoyed and stay and would love to return again soon.

Excellent apartment in great location, gated community, and facing the marina. Easy distance to central Brighton either via the beach, electric railway, car or uber.... Good local restaurants if not eating in town. Apartment was well equipped, clean and functional. Secure parking. A vey enjoyable long weekend stay by the coast.

everything we hoped for. A well appointed cosy converted barn set in a quiet corner of the countryside.

We had a lovely 3 days here - was great to be able to pop down the side of the house straight onto the beach! We visited Hastings one day …. The Smugglers Caves are well worth a visit. On another day we went to Sovereign Marina just a 5 min drive along the coast - it’s absolutely gorgeous there and we then caught the Dotto landtrain along the coast to Eastbourne … also worth visiting. The local restaurants and take aways are within walking distance along the beach (20 mins or so) or also along the long road you come in on if you find cobble walking a bit of a slog. Another day we just picnicked in thd private courtyard and then relaxed on the sun beds provided on the beach for the afternoon. Great little break for us and thank you to David who was more than helpful from booking through to leaving.
