What warm and cozy place. Super well appointed, everything worked well. There’s a lovely private outdoor dining area. Highly recommended. We stay at Bythe’s place again. We might, actually, in the not-too-distant future.

Marine was friendly, responsive and helpful. We arrived in the middle of the night but still had no problem with her instructions or getting into the house. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable and the garden was stunningly beautiful. I would highly recommend staying there for families and groups who want to be that side of town.

My family had a great time during our stay. The host was very kind and went out of her way to accommodate us! The house was in great condition and in a secure neighborhood. We highly recommend this place.

We traveled to Nairobi for 2 weeks to be close to our son's family, who live nearby. Specioza's place was as described, very secluded and private, with beautiful grounds, and all the amenities you would need for a short or long stay. Specioza and Peter (the groundskeeper) were very responsive, and flexible with our booking. However, guests should be aware that you absolutely need to have your own vehicle to access this property, and in rainy weather, you would need AWD. We typically get around via Uber, and often order grocery and restaurant deliveries, but none of these options were available to us, due to the long dirt road leading to the remote property. Fortunately, we were able to borrow an AWD vehicle from our son, which made our stay workable and pleasant. We would highly recommend this property if you like a very quiet and secluded setting, and have your own vehicle. We would definitely consider this property again for future visits.

We had a great time there. We were there for work and didn't get to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked to. The house is beautiful and the environment is serene- in the heart of tea farms. I'd really love to go there to clear my mind soon. Be aware the stairs are also a little scary but definitely seem quite stable.

Close to the supermarket and highway to the airport. Gated entry. Perfect for quick night stay or emergency.

Rod & Taz have created an incredibly peaceful space in a bustling city. The house is tastefully decorated, but comfortable to spend time in, especially because the internet setup is fantastic (could operate several devises easily). House is in a great location, near major roads and byways, so easily accessible by both Nairobi airports (JKIA and Wilson), close to Nairobi City Center and several other Nairobi neighborhoods including Karen and Kilimani. The entrance to the National Park is blocks away, good place for a peace nature walk, if needed. Highly recommend!!

Norman was a great host. House is conveniently situated and very secure . Clean and in great shape. Would recommend it anyday.

I had a problem in another host place and Yonnie helped me in the evening. The place was great, good location, and he always kept the communication on point. I recommend his place.

Titus was a great host. I had two challenges during my stay which he quickly solved. He noticed the house had an electric challenge but instead of hoping it doesn’t become an issue he gave me a safer room immediately. While staying I also accidentally locked myself out. My host was kind enough to organize someone to quickly help me access the room. He was willing to always come by if there was any challenge. I would definitely recommend you stay here and have him as a host.

It was very good apartment. Best locaion, spacious, and very comfortable. The host performed very well and quick when I requested some small repairment.

Friendly hosts, clean apartment, nice, quiet building, flexibility and good communication. Area is not immediately by main transport lunks but this makes it quite peaceful.

We loved our stay! It was a family trip, 2 adults, 2 kids. The house is beautiful and the staff are even better. We were well taken care of from delicious breakfasts to coordination of local activities. They coordinated most of our rides, but Uber is easy use. Uber Eats so also an option if you don’t want to go out. The UN and Village Market are close with restaurants, local shopping, and fun activities. At the house, the kids played in the pool almost everyday with a beautiful banana tree providing the ambience, truly peaceful and idyllic! We’d go back in a heartbeat! Thank you! We miss you already!

Bonsai Villa felt like home the moment I stepped in! Duncan is a fantastic host and all the staff are heartily welcoming, very warm, friendly and ready to help you with anything at all times: show you around their beautiful gardens, send you updates about interesting events, show you safest and cheapest ways to get around, recipes of Kenyan dishes ... The villa is located in one of the most beautiful and safest neighborhoods, surrounded by beautiful and gigantic vegetation, right next to Karura Forest. The terraces & gardens are full of beautiful tress, flowers, shrubs, & herbs carefully tended to by the staff, making the ambience very peaceful and pleasant. You feel like you're in the middle of the forest at all times of the day. If you are a foodie or traveling alone, you will absolutely love the huge common kitchen on the ground flower where you can socialize with the other guests, staff and cook. I call this house a home; I will always stay at Bonsai Villa when in Nairobi!
