“We had a lovely one night stay getaway from Nairobi. The space is a lovely quirky feel with unique furnishings. The Boho Eatery was open while we were there and also had a great meal. Thanks Paul and Gillian”

“Loved our stay! My husband and I had to visit Nairobi for a few appointments and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The entire place was lovely, but the veranda was exceptionally peaceful. Bruce was responsive and a great host upon welcoming us. Definitely recommend.”
The Brandy Bus is an old-school bus that has been revamped into a cozy and distinct Airbnb home. Tucked away in the serene beautiful suburbs of Karen it is a perfect place to escape. The Bus is close to many tourist attractions, restaurants, bars and close to both airports. All shopping, banking etc are accessible nearby. There are two double beds upstairs and two small single beds downstairs that also serve as sofas. There is outdoor seating and an outdoor fireplace.
“Our stay was amazing. My husband and I live in the nearby Lang'ata area, and so we decided to cycle to Karen's place. The place itself is quiet, and serene, just what the doctor ordered. Nearby there is the Oloolua nature trail which is also fantastic. The general theme is quiet, stillness and calm and I would recommend this to all my urnbanite friends who need to get away from all the noise (without having to travel really far for the same). One thing though, my husband and I are tall people, so the bus did feel strangely low for us at first, but after some time you get over it. There are also quite a few rules to remember - do this, dont do that, etc, that we felt were a bit much considering we did not want to have mental space for it, so we were moving around just a little bit scared that we would forget something. But other than that, it was great Karen and her people check on you to make sure you are okay, and they also allowed us to stay on longer on our check out day. So, we looooved it and would do it again!”
