Great casa de campo in spectacular surroundings

absolutely beautiful place! cross a small ford to get into the property, as soon as you enter you know it's going to be special! grape vines, roses and fruit trees the pool was much bigger than we expected and quite deep, perfect during warmer weather the garden is a paradise! indoors is functional and simple, shutters on all the windows, we didn't need the Aircon on but there is some there. note there is no WiFi and signal is patchy but that's was not an issue for us at all we visited Ronda (30min drive ) and Zahara (7min drive) some fantastic cycling opportunities and we did a short tour. there are a few walks out from the house to the nature reserve across the main road or up into the mountains Elbert responded so quickly to messages and let us know when the pool was going to be cleaned overall fantastic and would love to return

Casa del Pastor (the shepherd's cottage) is a cute cottage from 1892, with lots of authentic touches like very thick walls, the antique construction, the original floors and decoration. The pool is located behind the cottage and is lockable so young children can't just go into the pool. There is a wonderful corner with an open kitchen where you can relax, cook, BBQ or possibly put your laptop... Ideal is the space, the nature, the peace and the views!

Anabel's place is really great, especially if you are looking for somewhere that is private, peaceful but walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars etc of Gaucin. Would highly recommend and hope to go back soon!

A lovely property that was perfect for what we wanted. Plenty of space, easy to get into Ronda and perfectly equipped. Francisca and Paco's communication was also excellent - responding to all our needs (even when we locked ourselves out!).
