Vacation rentals with lake access in Romsdalsfjorden

We had a great time at Monica's house! Very nice location with great views to the fjords and mountains. The house has a high standard and was equipped with everything we would need. The bedrooms were all spacious with very good beds. Very welcoming and nice host. Thank you very much. Would recommend!

A beautiful spot tucked in one of the most stunning fjords. If there had been more snow, it would’ve been a backcountry skiers paradise. That being said we still found some great skiing not far from the house. Egil is an awesome host and I would love to come back and visit in the summer and again in the winter (hopefully with more snow). Worth a stay if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful place to vacation.

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. We stayed for 5 nights in this property and felt so at home and comfortable. The furnishings are lovely and the history of the house really interesting- it used to be bank and sheriffs office! Anne is a very responsive host and was happy to let us use her kayaks and visit her summer cabin. There are shops within walking distance and many lovely places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend this house. We were sad to leave.

The apartment was very nice and above all large! The location was great for all kinds of activities, and contact with Ashild was easy. A beach is within walking distance

An apartment that is very quietly located in a beautiful setting. The furnishings consist of a mix of new and old. Still very comfortable. Everything is also clean. Heating the rooms is somewhat problematic. There's only one heater. This means you have to leave all doors open to get heat into all rooms. Only the new bathroom has modern underfloor heating. The hostess is easy to reach and responds very quickly to questions. Overall a pleasant stay.

We can give a big recommendetion to Knut-Kjells apartment and planning to visit again next time in Norway.

For us who were visiting two students, this was completely inner. Amazing apartment, amazing host. Next time we are going back to Ålesund , we will stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay a lot! Magnars place is very cozy, clean and has a great view over the valley, which also makes it the perfect starting point for some hikes. At night, we were even able to enjoy northern lights from the porch. Highly recommended!

That has been a nice stay for a short period. Heidi is really easy to get in touch with. Location - perfect !!! In few words --> everything superb !!!!! Recommend !!!!

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

Great place for a family holiday. the house has amazing views over the Fjord and mountains. so many activities in the area, such as hiking, via Ferrata, Skylift, Zip lining, and water activities. Our host Haldor was very friendly and a great help, he arranged 2 excursions for us, fishing and a visit to his family farm. the house is clean, spacious, well equipped with all modern amenities, and has a great location close to many attractions in Norway, such as Geiranger, Trollstigen, and many more. I would definitely recommend this place for a large family.

Very nice house! Big, spacious and had everything you needed. Kristin lives in the house next door so if there was anything small we needed she helped us out. Would stay there again.

It is an incredibly nice Norwegian house, spacious, with many pleasant amenities. Located quiet with surrounding mountains. Eddie and Liesbeth respond quickly and are easily accessible remotely. We have really enjoyed it, Thank you.

Very nice house with jacuzzi and sauna in a beautiful, quiet place. A great place for a leisurely getaway. Everything about it was exactly like the pictures. Clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Good value for everything included.
